Fast Delivery

I ordered a Creative Nomad MuVo2 for my husband for Christmas. The order was placed 12/5/04 and supposed to be delivered by 12/15/04. To my surprise I received it on 12/7/04. It's exactly what I ordered and they had the best price plus a $50.00 rebate. I haven't opened it yet since it's a Christmas present, but so far I'm pleased with the service.

Very disappointing; My 1st bad experience buying on the web, it's not worth the aggravation.

My 1st complaint buying on the web.
1st: You can't order by phone.
2nd: I ordered 1 hr later (same date) something different from newegg.com
While eBuyer was still fiddling around with verifying the ship-to address; newegg already had the product shipped and delivered to my front door.
3rd: Customer service is just horrible. If u have a problem you can wait forever to get it solved.
4th: Just because the product is shown on their web site does not mean they have it in stock. You won't find out that the product is out of stock until you've ordered the product. That means you've wasted your time signing up and ordering.
5th: Took me over an hour to sign up because their web site is soooo slow. 2 to 5 minutes waiting until eBuyer.com responds to a click. [And I'm on fast cable too.]
Just a bad experience not worth the few dollars saved. Save your aggravation.

I ordered a Sony HVL-F32X flash, Sony ACC-CFM combo package of camera case, lens protector, and spare battery and also a SanDisk 256MB Memory Stick.
I found them at almost the lowest price of anyone, and although I received them a day later than I expected (after paying for 2-day FedEx) I got the merchandise I ordered as advertised with no problems whatsoever.

Customer Service Sucks

I will not purchase from Ebuyer again. Shipping was HORRIBLE, FedEx couldn't get my address correct (never mind the fact that I have lived there for 5 years). After MANY calls, false info, Ebuyer customer service hanging up on me twice & runarounds Fed Ex admitted the package was lost. E buyer refused to ship another product until an investigation can be made (excuse me I'm not the one who lost the package). They still have not credited my credit card the money.

With shipping included they had nearly the best price I could find on my item. Places with lower prices couldn't ship the part immediately. They were very fast to ship the product.

Easy to order.
Fast delivery.
Delivered wrong item.
Refused to reimburse my return shipping.
Were not going to refund the cost to ship the wrong item to me in the first place if I hadn't complained.
Withheld information that they would have paid return shipping if I had complained before I shipped.
This is a scam.
They must have very poor warehouse controls if they ship the wrong item to begin with.

Computer Case and Video Card - GOOD

I used the Froogle.com search engine to look for a specific computer case and video card. The best prices (including shipping) was from ebuyer. I felt a little uneasy ordering from ebuyer since I have never heard about them, but I went though with the order anyways. I recieved my video card 3 days after placing my order and I recieved my case 5 days after placing my order. Everything came in perfect condition and in a timely manner. I also did not have to pay tax since I live in California. I definitely recommend this site, but according to a lot of people, returning defective or unwanted products can be a hassel. Nevertheless, good service.

Beware of 20% restocking fee on EVERYTHING!!!

I have negative experience with Ebuyer.com.
Watch out for their return policy which will hit you with 20% restocking fee even if you never rip the shrink wrap off the package you get. Recently I ordered an Acer laptop but changed my mind two days after placing order (haven't even received the parcel). No dice to return the lappie -- 20% restocking fee made me stuck with Ebuyer's product. Extremelly dissapointed.
Never again I buy from them. Should have bought from NewEgg or Amazon...

Item was listed in stock. Order was placed on a Thursday got a confirmation email that my order will be processed. Did not get any response for a whole week regarding shipping of my order, then on Friday of following week received email that they are over sold and my order was canceled. Total waste of time, I don't think they have any item in stock, but will list it as in stock, so you will place your order.

Returning a broken item is a incredible hassle. I have never had to go through through such steps and communication ever before. They will make every attempt not to honor their guarantees. If you buy something. Keep every paper, every tag, all the packaging, every twist tie, and pray that it works consistently.
I will not purchase again solely due to their return policy.

The worst I have ever had online

On 5/15/04 I placed an order for a SD card. My Visa was charged and on their website it showed the order as "invoiced" with a USPS tracking number and a ship date of 12/31/1969. The USPS website stated that they were told to expect a package to ship but was never received. After 6 days and three e-mails (they keep saying it was shipped, still no indication on their site that it ever was) I was e-mailed a claim form to print out, sign and send snail-mail to their claims dept for investigation.
I have done a great deal of business on the net and have NEVER seen anything like this.
In my opinion this could be a sign of financial problems (possibly can't pay their suppliers?). I absolutely can NOT recommend using Ebuyer.
This was my experience Ebuyer.com I hope it helps.

Delivery speed was average
Order accuracy is Very Poor. Do not order from this site.

My overall satisfaction with this site is terrible.
I ordered these two gamecube games from their company and they send me these 2nd grade computer software. How the hell can you screw up on the order? I don't know. I tried calling customer service and they wanted me to go through this tedious process of returning them back to UPS.
I don't drive and there's no UPS in my area. So now, I'm screwed with these two jumpstart software for 2nd graders. Do not shop at this site unless you want to go through the hassle of returning items and calling them.

Disastrously poor, indifferent and inefficient company

EBUYER... Appalingly bad company (UK)
VERY bad customer care verging on total indifference.
Incorrect orders, cancelled orders ignored and money still taken. Purchase policies that contradict what the sales people say, and sales staff that contradict what your account info says.
Awkward cumbersome process to recover your money (Like getting blood out of a stone)
DONT BELIEVE the good reviews on this site.. Look how many of them have "strangely perfect" 100% ratings in each of the categories. I understand that they have employees writing good review to try and water down all the bad ones!!!

Order was canceled for no reason. Claimed out of stock. Live stock update showed 1 in stock when ordered. Stock status went to zero after placing order. Several times after placing order live stock update claimed it was in stock. But never shipped finally they canceled the order without any correspondence.
