Great website for research and price quotes. by yevgeniy ,Mar 29 '07
Edmunds.com is great site for research and price quotes.
Today I've closed the deal on Honda CR-V EX 4WD with Fremont Automall Honda dealer. I was researching SUVs using Carsdirect and Edmunds. Crasdirect price was $24,282. Edmunds "What others are paying" was $24,518. I have requested a price quote from Edmunds Premier Dealer. The quote was $23,388. I've scheduled an appointment and picked up the vehicle.

Best Automotive Research Website by joe8787 ,Jun 06 '05
I used this website to research the last car I bought, which was a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. They had so many photos and information it was great. It was so helpful to see the invoice price, the true market value of the car, and compare a bunch of price quotes for dealers all over my area. I ended up finding a dealer that was about an hour away, but I saved a bunch of money, thanks to this site.
Best car resource site on the internet. by jakemarrone ,Sep 04 '04
With the information that I found at the Edmunds site, I was able to negotiate better and was more knowledgeable when walking into the dealership. The site also allowed me to compare vehicles and narrow my car choices. Also, it was great to have both consumer and expert car reviews at my fingertips.
Very Useful Information and Saved me Money at the Dealership by jenniferfrank ,Sep 01 '04
I used Edmunds to buy my first car. The site was very useful and I used the pricing information at the dealership. The site allows you to select between the different models and lists both consumer and expert reviews.
The best car site on the net! by noho91601 ,Aug 04 '04
This is the only site I ever use when I'm researching cars. The pricing is great because Edmunds.com tells you what you should be paying, which takes away the painful process of negotiating for a car. The reviews and tips make for fun reading. Love the top ten lists. The InfoPaks are a great time saver and have loads of information specifically for my geographic area. By far the best of any car site anywhere!
Anyone shopping for a car shouldn't miss the free resources on this site. by mustangfan ,Aug 02 '04
This free site is invaluable for learning the true transaction price and ownership costs for vehicles. It gives a lot of insider tips like how the Kelly Blue Book was originally developed by a car dealer and can cause you to lose money if you use its price suggestions. Don't miss the Edmunds forums where any automotive question can be answered by other consumers who have the experience you wonder about. When you know what vehicle you want to buy, it is easy to request price quotes from all the appropriate dealers in your area.
Epinions.com periodically updates pricing and product information from third-party sources, so some information may be slightly out-of-date. You should confirm all information before relying on it.
