I ordered a Sony 50" LCD projection TV the Sunday before the Super Bowl,I was hoping to have it for the Olympics but they called me on Thursday and said the TV was in Milwaukee WI. and it was delivered the next day. I don't usually write reviews for stores, but my experience at electronics-expo is worth sharing...
I ordered an item off their website on Monday. Item description said "instock". On Wednesday I called asking why it hadn't been shipped, and was casually told that they made no promises regarding processing time.
On Friday I received a voicemail from a lady (sounding like she'd just finished her 90th carton of cigarettes for the day), who said my card could not be processed and that I should call my bank (I shop online everyday...I would know if there was a problem with my card...).
I later called back telling them to cancel my order. A snotty 15 year old then proceeded to tell me that it would not be able to be cancelled until Monday as "most of the people aren't here and stuff".
WHAT A JOKE... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

I ordered a 50" TV, their website said it was in stock.. price was good. Gave it 3 business days, no email indicating shipping details.. so I called. Michael indicated that they no longer had the unit available and it was discontinued. The day I talked with Michael, their website still said.. "In Stock" ships in 1 to 2 business days. Apparently their rating on "ease of ordering" is because they accept any order.. even when the unit is not in stock. They did not even make contact with me to let me know the unit would not be shipped.

Fraud, fake posts all over the internet. Return policy is awful,type in fraud and this store and see what comes up on a search engine site,see for yourself. They do not take any returns on TV's over 20 inches and will be of no help and basically say tough $h!. Do they make TV's under 20 inches any more? Not only that they will be as pushy as can be to upsell everything. MOST OF ALL THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND POST FAKE REVIEWS, it so clear. Avoid, too many honest vendors to waste your time with these people.

Epinions listed a price of $295 for a Sony DCR-TRV480 camcorder for this store. It also indicated the product was in stock. The Expo website indicated the product was not in stock and a price of $349.

Item (Sony DCR HC32) was advertised as "ships within 2 days", but no delivery date was given at checkout. Ordered on Dec 12. Was supposed to receive email when item was shipped. Three days later I got the email (with a tracking number). Item had actually shipped on the second day as advertised. Received item on Dec 16. Packaging was excellent, item was in perfect condition, new in box, first quality USA product. Price was the lowest including shipping (no tax charged for NY). Only wish I had received delivery date estimate at checkout... so thats why not a perfect rating. I would definitely order from this merchant again.

Apparently these guys haven't figured out how to integrate their inventory tracking software with the Web server that handles online orders. On top of this, their concept of customer service must have come right out of a time capsule from the USSR in the 1980's: imagine long bread lines and bare shelves, and you've pretty much got it.

Order at your own risk. I can confirm what previous reviewers wrote about the lack of Customer Service, there is none. Don't bother calling the 1-800 number, all you will do is wait for a recorded message that says send an e-mail. Send an e-mail and you will get no response. I was attracted by the low prices and placed an order for an HDTV. I immediately received an order confirmation e-mail and that was the last I heard from them. After waiting over two weeks and numerous e-mails with no response, I sent an order cancellation e-mail. I hope they got it since there was no response. I still check my credit card every few days to make sure there is no charge. DO NOT waste your time ordering from Electronics Expo. Spend a few dollars more and order from someone more reputable.

Horrendous customer service.

I bought a 60-inch TV from Electronics Expo about a year and a half ago on a good sale. Everything was great until about 5 months ago when the TV first developed a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen, and then died altogether about 3 months later.
I started calling "customer support" three weeks ago to make a claim on my 1-year extended warranty which is still valid, and every time I'm promised that the third-party company that handles their servicing will call me back within a day or two.
I'm up to 12 calls since that first call, and I still haven't heard one word from this "EZ Way" company that I'm told about that I'm not so sure exists at this point. I'm just about at my boiling point and ready to go into the store and make a scene.
Stay away. It's not worth it. Maybe you save a few hundred dollars up front, but you'll get burned in the end.

Good price for an authorized dealer - item worked as advertised

When I called the saleman told me that the item,(Samsung HP-R5052) was not on stock, but that I would likely get it in a week if I ordered it on that day(3/22). So I did and the item was - on hand - and ready to be delivered on 3/27,(it took only five days). Unfortunaly it took the freight company "SEKO" 3 days to make the delivery and that is only after I went "postal on them". Originally the wanted 6 to 7 days to make the delivery. Keep in mind that I live less that 10 miles from their storage area. Anyways, I just mention this just in case you have to deal with those bums (SEKO). By the way, the item arrived in good condition and it worked as advertised.

I ordered a set of surround sound speakers (Infinity TSS740) and a Yamaha receiver (HTR-5840) from them on Monday morning. I was a little disappointed that they did not have the receiver model in stock that I selected from their web site (HTR-5730). The sales rep was friendly, helpful, and courteous, and pointed me to another model (HTR-5840) which was in stock. At first, I thought he was trying to up-sell me on the more $$ model. I indicated that I really wanted the cheaper model, so he spoke to the manager and was able to upgrade me to the 5840 for the same price. My items shipped by Wednesday and arrived Friday. No additional shipping costs - just Fedex ground. Everything was brand new and in perfect condition. I would recommend this store and would buy from them again in the future.

Worst Customer service experience

Worst Customer service experience. I had bought a Sony T1 Camera from the store. And when I went back to return it, I faced a very unfriendly Customer service people and they started giving me all sorts of arguments so they can refuse this return.
There was no physical damage or anything to the camera or any accesories. But they gave all sorts of false arguments that they want all packaging including the one for USB wires and stuff. When I said I might not have them, they said they can't accept the return, as SONY will charge them 50 bucks if any packaging is missing from the camera. Later on, I confirmed with that Sales Rep to open another box and show me the packaging on the USB wire and there WAS NONE on it..
Overall a worst store to get anything, even if there prices seem competitive. If you don't respect your customers, what do you expect back. Overall very rude, and bunch of liars, Would never shop again at this store!!

To save 120$ compared to BB or CC, i was happy to wait 5 Days Ground Shipping.The only thing,change to fed ex instead of UPS i saw the Driver letting the Box falling on my Front Door didn't even ring. what happend if someone take the Box,over 300 Bucks valued.
i usally deal with fed ex they ring and wait.

Although the product was not the cheapest at this merchant, the price was lower than at many other stores. I liked the fact that the merchant was an authorized dealer, and had an excellent reputation among previous customers, as evidenced by all the positive feedback from customers.
