Was nevous at first whether or not I should order from them. I will now however buy my and my families cologne/prefume through fragrancex.com. Placed my order and got it within a week after it was shipped. It was nicely packaged in bubble wrap and it the scent was just as if you bought it from a store, without the department store prices. As I live in Alberta, Canada it said that I may incurr duties/customs tax when it arrives however I did not have to pay anything. The colgne that I ordered could not be found in stores and even if it was the price including any potential duties/customs would be cheaper than buying it from stores. I am so happy with purchase and can't wait to order from them again.
Three weeks after placing my order it still had not arrived. When I tracked it, I discovered it had been cancelled with no notice to me. When I queried this I was told that they didn't have my billing address, which was not true - it was on the email they sent me confirming my order! I had to reorder. When it arrived, it was the wrong perfume (right brand, wrong scent). After several emails to customer service, I was told to return the items. It is now 4 weeks since I returned the items and they say they have not received them. Looks like I will see neither my perfume or my money again. So now I am out of pocket for the perfume AND the return postage for something that was THEIR error. Do NOT shop here!
It seems like their strategy is: You order for the first time (not too much, you want to see if this is a good company) and you will receive you're package right on time. Despite nasty reviews on the internet you take the chance ordering a second time. You'll receive a mail that your package has been sent, but you'll never receive it. They are not responsabel because with international shipping "they loose track from the parcel" No real reply from the customer service, no refunding. Easy made money for them. Never will order there again.

Everything was fine until there was a problem. I had shopped this store several times in the past. This time however the sprayer broke on my Badgley Mishka perfume after a few months. I had only used this perfume a few times and as a matter of fact, you cannot tell there is any missing. I contacted the company for an exchange......not a refund and was told they only give a 30 day return policy EVEN IF THERE IS A DEFECT!!!. So I have a totally full bottle of very expensive perfume and no way to get it out of the bottle. BUYER BEWARE.

Purchased an item from the UK. It arrived 3 weeks later but carried a £12.50 customs charge. I have now find the section on the website that warns you there may be a charge (no figures are quoted), but feel this should be mentioned at the time of order as Free Shipping to me was Free shipping. The perfume has now cost me more than it would have done from the UK.
When I tried to email the support address my email was bounced back with the explanation that it was blocked.

The worst experience ever! It took nearly a month for the delivery, they debited more money than the order was, and on top of that i had to pay a customs charge! The products are not genuine and they do not respond to emails, Overall i wil never shop from here again!

My order was shipped last April 21, 2009 and up to today June 19,2009 - it has not arrived. Numerous emails and follow ups with their support people yields the same response that the item is in transit and no tracking number is available. I have filed a claim in Paypal and Fragrancex responded by providing a Global Priority Mail tracking number. Checking that number in the US Postal Service website shows that the number is not a valid tracking number. It has been a very irritating and frustrating experience shopping in this online store.
This was by far the worst service I have ever received from a company. Let me explain.. I ordered my perfume, got it pretty quickly, just to open it and find that the spray nozzle had obviously been ripped off and put back on. I smelled the perfume and it was NOT THE PERFUME THAT I ORDERED! Someone had obviously attempted to put some knockoff in the bottle and pass it off for what I ordered. I have been wearing the same fragrance for 10 years, I should know.
So I emailed them.. got an auto response that said that they would email me back in ONE DAY. I didn't get a response after a WEEK OF WAITING. So I emailed them AGAIN and finally got a very rude response back saying that it isn't a knockoff and there is nothing they can do.

BUYER BEWARE! This company sells FAKE versions of designer perfumes. I ordered Versace Blue Jeans and received Versus. The website claims to sell authentic designer fragrances, not imitations or knock offs. What a lie!

I ordered the product the moment it became available. They let me know it was in stock. I ordered it and waited and waited. No product, no info, no nothing. Finally, several weeks later they sent an email saying they ran out of stock and would need to refund my payment. It was a big pain with no good outcome. Wasted time, wasted effort. Read more
