Was nevous at first whether or not I should order from them. I will now however buy my and my families cologne/prefume through fragrancex.com. Placed my order and got it within a week after it was shipped. It was nicely packaged in bubble wrap and it the scent was just as if you bought it from a store, without the department store prices. As I live in Alberta, Canada it said that I may incurr duties/customs tax when it arrives however I did not have to pay anything. The colgne that I ordered could not be found in stores and even if it was the price including any potential duties/customs would be cheaper than buying it from stores. I am so happy with purchase and can't wait to order from them again.

Great price, great communication, speedy delivery. Perfect product! Would recommend to anyone who loves perfume. Lowest prices I could find anywhere, in a size small enough to try for the first time. Love it!

Ordered 2 bottle of First by Van Cleef perfumes (200ml) and 1 bottle of Givenchy Gentlemen (200ml) aftershave. They sent me an email giving me the date of despatch and the items arrived within 2 weeks or so in perfect condition. Despite having a delivery charge of approx £9.50 for the 3 items and an unexpected customs charge of £12 they still worked out cheaper than buying of a UK firm. I have previously bought from Direct cosmetics but found this company to be cheaper but the delivery service does take much longer than a UK company.
Would use them again but watch for the customs charge can make them expensive. You will not know how much the custom charge is until they deliver the goods - BE CAREFUL!!!!!

Purchased an item from the UK.  It arrived 3 weeks later but carried a £12.50 customs charge.  I have now find the section on the website that warns you there may be a charge (no figures are quoted), but feel this should be mentioned at the time of order as Free Shipping to me was Free shipping.  The perfume has now cost me more than it would have done from the UK.

When I tried to email the support address my email was bounced back with the explanation that it was blocked.

After telling me I should wait they told me they will cancel my order because they don't know when they will have available again the product.
I think is too much for a "trustee site"

Item ordered was not as described on website. Did some
detective work at Saks Fifth Avenue. Packaging and scent
were definitely not the same as product from FragranceX.com.

I thought FragranceX.com was great when I first discovered the website. However, I ordered a product from them 5 weeks ago and I still haven't received it. It was shipped by air mail on 11 April 07, I think I will still be waiting for it in 2008. I will not shop from this website again and will also tell all of my shopping buddies the same.

Lousy customer service and lousy store. We never received our order and sent numerous emails. Finally today (28th) they sent a reply back. Said the item (Chanel No 5) had been damaged in shipment and they refunded our credit card. Well I will believe that when I see it.

I made an international order for delivery to Kenya. I received an email saying the product had been sent, which included a USPS shipment log number. When I checked on the USPS site, the number did not exist.
I emailed fragranceX and they reassured me that it had been sent but must be held up in customs. I have emailed again, and got the same response. Don't really want to call, as the cost of the call will probably be more than the shipment.
That was two weeks ago, and still nothing. I think I have been cheated. Don't buy anything on-line from this company.

I am an avid on-line shopper and found this to be one of the worst sites I have ever dealt with. Although I paid for express shipping, my order was sent ground and never made it in time for Christmas. Customer service emails went unanswered. There are many other fragrance websites with competitive prices that have MUCH better customer service!

Very slow. I ordered something a week ago and it still hasn't shipped, even though they emailed me that it would ship 2 days ago. Dissatisfied.

On august 28, I put an order on this company. Before putting the order, I called the sales person to assure that they have all the product I want to purchase. Soon I received an email that shows my order and a connection to check the status of this order. It seemed everything OK until today. One week passed, I haven't get anything from this company, even an email notification for shipping. So I decide to check the status of my order using the web connection. To my surprise, this company dropped half of my order, in addition to that, they charge my extra shipping fee!!!

When I tried to call them this evening, to my another surprise, they have sales person on line 24/7, but the customer support work very limited time. And the sale person reject to solve problem for you!

It sounds this company just want to get money from you, and they are trying their best to do that, no matter what method, even lying. Once they get your money, they don't care the customer.

I put my order on 8/10/2008 and havent received it yet. 4 weeks passed, and customer services, meant to be no helpful at all. They are not answering my mails, not giving me a tracking number, but advising me to wait patiently. I dont think I will ever buy from this site again.

Fragrancex.com is one of the most unreliable on-line cosmetics shops!

I made a $250 order, and although they made me pay for door-to-door delivery, they used regular post, so my order got lost!

They were extremely unhelpful, did nothing to help me track down the order, and after a while they even stopped replying!

Be aware and never shop from them!

I shopped here online once and however both my orders were cancelled due to failure verification of my credit card billing address.
Unfortunately, when I received my credit card statement today, there were 2 transactions charged by FragranceX. Both were the cancelled orders.
The last email I received from the cust service saying that 'your credit card has not been charged'.
I wonder if your store will take responsible for this.

My daughter tried to put me the same orders again using her credit card, and it was also cancelled. How can you make it so hard to place an order? I've got to go thru more than 5 times of placing orders with different card accounts, only the last one went thru!

Ordered Chanel Egoiste - they sent a fake product! I've used this scent for some 14 years and know the smell, packaging and bottle.

The smell was totally wrong, the writing on bottle was wrong, the "product number" on back of bottle was missing/etched-out. Even the tube inside bottle was too thick.
Customer service no help - want me to return AT MY COST if I'm to get refund. Hardly worth it with cost of shipping back from UK.

I repeat - they sold fake scent. I don't know about the rest of their lines but the Chanel Egoiste is definitely a fake.

BUYER BEWARE!  This company sells FAKE versions of designer perfumes.  I ordered Versace Blue Jeans and received Versus. The website claims to sell authentic designer fragrances, not imitations or knock offs. What a lie!

Ordered my ralph lauren over 3 weeks ago and still have not received it.

Researched the numerous online stores and found this to have the best reviews but am now really dissapointed and £80 out of pocket.

Customer services no help at all as advise i wait patiently - what more can i do!

This was by far the worst service I have ever received from a company.
Let me explain.. I ordered my perfume, got it pretty quickly, just to open it and find that the spray nozzle had obviously been ripped off and put back on. I smelled the perfume and it was NOT THE PERFUME THAT I ORDERED! Someone had obviously attempted to put some knockoff in the bottle and pass it off for what I ordered. I have been wearing the same fragrance for 10 years, I should know.

So I emailed them.. got an auto response that said that they would email me back in ONE DAY. I didn't get a response after a WEEK OF WAITING. So I emailed them AGAIN and finally got a very rude response back saying that it isn't a knockoff and there is nothing they can do.

I am LIVID.

My order was shipped last April 21, 2009 and up to today June 19,2009 - it has not arrived. Numerous emails and follow ups with their support people yields the same response that the item is in transit and no tracking number is available. I have filed a claim in Paypal and Fragrancex responded by providing a Global Priority Mail tracking number. Checking that number in the US Postal Service website shows that the number is not a valid tracking number. It has been a very irritating and frustrating experience shopping in this online store.

The worst experience ever! It took nearly a month for the delivery, they debited more money than the order was, and on top of that i had to pay a customs charge! The products are not genuine and they do not respond to emails, Overall i wil never shop from here again!

Three weeks after placing my order it still had not arrived. When I tracked it, I discovered it had been cancelled with no notice to me. When I queried this I was told that they didn't have my billing address, which was not true - it was on the email they sent me confirming my order! I had to reorder. When it arrived, it was the wrong perfume (right brand, wrong scent). After several emails to customer service, I was told to return the items. It is now 4 weeks since I returned the items and they say they have not received them. Looks like I will see neither my perfume or my money again. So now I am out of pocket for the perfume AND the return postage for something that was THEIR error. Do NOT shop here!

Ordered an item and it was sent to the wrong address. I called the company to fix the address and they told me to take it up with DHL. When DHL was unable to do anything I wrote the company and asked for a refund or a suggestion of when or if I would actually get my item. No reply. I order online a lot and this would have to be the worst experience I have ever had. No help from the company. So, they pretty much stole money from me. I would NEVER order there or recommend it to anyone.

Everything was fine until there was a problem.  I had shopped this store several times in the past.  This time however the sprayer broke on my Badgley Mishka perfume after a few months.  I had only used this perfume a few times and as a matter of fact, you cannot tell there is any missing.  I contacted the company for an exchange......not a refund and was told they only give a 30 day return policy EVEN IF THERE IS A DEFECT!!!.  So I have a totally full bottle of very expensive perfume and no way to get it out of the bottle.
BUYER BEWARE.

It seems like their strategy is: You order for the first time (not too much, you want to see if this is a good company) and you will receive you're package right on time. Despite nasty reviews on the internet you take the chance ordering a second time.
You'll receive a mail that your package has been sent, but you'll never receive it.
They are not responsabel because with international shipping "they loose track from the parcel"
No real reply from the customer service, no refunding. Easy made money for them.
Never will order there again.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFULL WITH FRAGRANCE X. I HAVE HAD A VERY BAD TIMES AND I LOST MY PATIENCE . FOR 2 MONTHS I DID NOT RECEIVE MY PARCEL! USD$127.57 IS WHAT I HV LOST AND LESSON LEARNED AND PAID! THEY CANT EVEN PROVIDE ME EVIDENCE OF SENDING OUT MY PARCEL,AIRWAY BILL. 

Their credit card verification procedure is extremely frustrating. I've been buying stuff over the internet for the last few years using the same credit card, including very expensive items, and never had a problem, so going through this trouble just for a 30 dollar perfume seemed ridiculous to me. I canceled the order.
To add insult over injury, they kept telling me in a bland "be-polite-but-say-nothing-useful" style language that they are doing this for my own good. Yeah, right! I don't know whose good that was, but it certainly wasn't mine. I have already lost four days, and my money is still blocked. I see nothing good in that.

I will never try to buy from them again and will never recommend them to anyone.
