As the website describes, the mattress arrives shrink-wrapped. The packaging was very sturdy, and the mattress arrived in pristine condition.

I was nervous about purchasing such a high ticket item online, but I have been very pleased over the past month with the quality of the mattress I purchased. I have recommended the site to at least one friend and would not hesitate to recommend it to others who are in the market for a memory foam mattress.

Well unfortunately for me the memory foam mattress didn't work for me. I believe it is a high quality mattress, but I suffer from MS and it was just to firm for me and didn't help relieve my pain at night. After trying the bed for awhile I realized this mattress wasn't going to work, so I contacted Brian and he explained how to do the return and once that was completed I received my refund. This is an excellent company and I would recommend doing business with them. They are honest and stand behind their products.

I ordered one of their 3-inch, full-size memory foam topper pads and I couldn't be happier with it. It transformed the horrible, granite hard (yet new) mattress that was supplied with my student apartment, into something that feels amazing, like the expensive tempur-pedic mattress my family has back home.

Delivery speed was fine, it shipped immediately and got from their warehouse in California to Upstate NY in around 3 to 4 days.

Mattress pad protector shipped, and got here a few days later.

The 10" memory foam mattress is the best mattress my husband and I have ever slept on.  We have had our mattress for 2 years now and have absolutely no problems.  We were hesitant about buying a mattress on-line as many people are but rest assured that Healthy Foundations has great customer service.  Our mattress arrived just 5 days after our order was processed.  Two people can easily lift and move the mattress when rolled up.  There was no off-gassing or much smell as reported by many competitor brands.  We did let it air out for the recommended amount of time and have had a perfect night's sleep ever since that day.  We don't use a topper but just purchased a nice quality mattress pad from a local retailer.  We also purchased the memory foam pillows and were happy with them as well.   I cannot say this enough - DO NOT spend the extra money for the high priced competitors.  This bed has been one of the best investments we ever made.  We no longer wake up with aches and pains.

I have been in need of a new bed for years.  I was very Leary about buying a bed on-line.  I am so glad I ordered it, despite my fears.  I LOVE it.  The only challenge I have encountered so far is finding sheets to fit an attached topper.  The bed arrived in great condition only a few days after I ordered it.  I was able to position on my frame myself with on trouble at all.  It does take some adapting to the way the foam takes time to reform after movement.  I live in the Pacific Northwest and have my window open all winter so when it was 20F outside my bed was very stiff and comfortable I am concerned it may be soft this summer and hot to sleep in, but I am sure we will adapt to each other. If I outlive my Luxe 13" memory foam mattress I Know where to find another.

My mattress will come today, and I know I am going to enjoy it. But I already am thrilled with Healthy Foundations! I have never experienced such personal and helpful customer service. I was having a problem (actually it was UPS problem) with tracking my order. I shot an e-mail to Healthy Foundations, and within a short time, a most helpful and informative customer service rep phoned me, gave me the information I needed, and urged me to follow up if I had any more difficulty. Having dealt with companies that help only with "form e-mail replies," this was so comforting and satisfying.

Have to admit that I was skeptical after reading the reviews as it seemed "to good to be true" to have an honest merchant with a great product all in one package! Before placing my order, I spoke with a live "pleasant" human who had all the answers to my questions. Received my 2" Queen topper within a week of placing the order, and my experience using it so far has been "heavenly" making it extremely difficult to get out of bed in the a.m. "I've slept like a baby." Although, I found the website very wordy, if you're interested in foam mattress products of any kind, the Healthy Foundations website is the site to visit. The website is very thorough, containing a tremendous amount of useful "Foam for Dummies" information. I'm already contemplating the purchase of a 2nd topper as a gift. Any future foam products purchased will be with this company as I am a believer that they are a great company with a great product!

My wife and I had a three year old Serta Mattress that was killing my back. My wife also has arthritis and was waking up hurting every morning. After doing much research on memory foam mattresses, we bought the healthy foundations 10" mattress. I ordered on Monday, and it was delivered on Wednesday ! WOW!

After only two nights on this mattress, no more backaches, and my wife is waking up with virtually no pain. I can't explain how pleased we are with this purchase. The customer service is excellent. I would recommend this mattress and this company to anyone with a health condition. This mattress is at least 1,000.00 less than the tempurpedic, and presents excellent value. Two thumbs up!

Shopping: The website provided all the information needed to make the purchase, and placing the order was a treat for somebody who doesn't like to order online.

Delivery: The mattress was out of stock at the time of order. We received updates to let us know when to expect it; it arrived a week AHEAD of schedule.

Product: My wife's ongoing back pain and leg cramps have disappeared, and I no longer find it hard to get to sleep. No matter how long (or short) our sleep we wake up refreshed and feeling like we got a full night's sleep.

There was a very slight chemical odor when we first cut open the shipping bag which totally vanished after 2 or 3 days. For hundreds less than the "T brand" the Healthy Foundations mattress is a great investment. I only wonder why we took so long to make the change.

There was a miscommunication problem between the manufacturer and the seller, so my mattress was delayed but I contacted customer service and they had a mattress shipped to me within several days. So far the mattress has been superb! The customer service was incredibly helpful and contacted me with updates frequently. The memory form mattress arrived a week to the day from when I ordered it and is exactly what your site says. It fits the bed perfectly and not at all like what you can buy in local stores. I'm totally satisfied! When it arrived, I opened it and placed it on the bed and it bounced to size in just a short time. I'm sure this is because it doesn't sit wrapped up for a long time. The cover actually arrived before the pad. I have it out on another of our beds airing out although the scent is not bad at all. I hope you get a lot of business because your product is exactly as you advertise. It may be a little more than the cheaper brands but, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for."

I researched this purchase to death. I just could not justify paying top dollar for the name-brand mattress. Actually even paying the price for this mattress was a stretch. I simply did not expect the mattress to perform up to the hype. After reading the reviews, and given the 1 year guarantee, we pulled the trigger on a Healthy Foundations King Mattress. It arrived quickly, and was in great condition. We opened the bag, let it expand, and slept on it an hour later. There was almost no odor the first night, and none at all by the second night. I have never slept so good! I didn't realize just how poorly I was sleeping on my other mattress. After a month of use I can say that I am just as happy with it as I was the first day. I have absolutely no regrets about spending the money, and I'm glad I found this mattress before I was convinced to drop almost $3000 on the other choice. Healthy Foundations website was informative and easy to navigate. The ordering process and delivery speed was as expected. Sleeping on this 3 inch mattress topper is a true delight. I decided on the 3 inch, and in retrospect, if I order one again in the future, I would go with the 2 inch. Dave's comment about back support with the 3 inch is correct, although it is still very comfortable. My only complaint is the topper does not measure the full width of my mattress as stated on the website. I emailed customer service about this, and they felt it would expand to its full width within a couple of days, but it hasn't done so. Aside from this one complaint, so far I am completely satisfied with the comfort and performance of this topper.

After extensive research into memory foam mattresses, I ordered a queen size from Healthy Foundations in June 2007. This is the best purchase I have made in years. My husband has suffered from hip and shoulder pain for years, but sleeping on the new mattress has eliminated the pain. It has also made a difference in the quality of my sleep, it is much improved. We love the mattress and would unconditionally recommend it. My experience with the telephone order was great. The man answered all my questions and was very helpful. The mattress arrived ahead of projected delivery date.

Excellent product (topper and pillow) and customer service. There was no noticeable foam odor and product is exactly as described. Delivery was on time, very smooth transaction. The website is very well done, easy to navigate.

We first ordered a 2 inch mattress pad. On the first night we used it, we noticed that our backs no longer hurt at night and in the morning! So we ordered a pillow (I already have a memory foam pillow) for my husband, and he loves it, too. However, the pillow had a small tear in it, and Brian at Healthy Foundations immediately suggested that they would exchange it. However, the tear was minor and my husband didn't want to do without the pillow for a week, so we decided to keep it. We told Brian about it, and he told me that our decision is fine but if the tear gets worse or if we simply changed our minds about not having it exchanged, then not to hesitate to contact him. He was also very helpful when we were deciding the thickness of the pad. The products are great and the customer service is wonderful. We would definitely purchase from them again.

I live in Canada and just purchased a mattress today. Currently, shipping is not available to Canada, but I had made arrangements to send it to a friend's place in Michigan. Without getting into too many details--Healthy Foundations went above and beyond to help accommodate me. I had a special set of circumstances and Chris and Brian really stepped up and came through for me. Chris was extremely courteous on the phone. I was told he would call me back after he figures out a solution for me. Their response time was great! 10 minutes later, I had purchased my new Healthy Foundations mattress!

I am very pleased with the product I received. Delivery time was two days after initial est delivery, but I understood b/c it was over a weekend. Overall, I am glad that I chose to purchase a mattress topper instead of a full mattress- it works great!

I had great customer service from start to finish with Healthy Foundations. The order was processed quickly and delivered as promised. We kept the mattress for several months. I loved the mattress, but in the end my wife decided it wasn't quite what she wondered. I contacted the company to ask about the 365-day return policy, a little concerned because it had been so long since we purchased. We'd had it less than 365 days, but still, I had to wonder if there would be some "gotcha" clauses that I hadn't read in the fine print.

I got a prompt reply about how to handle the return and they really couldn't have made it easier. Once they received the return at the fulfillment center, the refund was credited to my card ASAP.

I'd have no reservations recommending the product and the company to others. The only online shopping company that I've dealt with that comes close is Zappos. They both are customer-focused and have great products.

I am very pleased with my entire experience in purchasing my bed from Healthy Foundations. There was enough info on their website to answer my questions and when I spoke with their reps they answered all my questions. Once I made my purchase I received a ebill from them and shortly thereafter a email from UPS with tracking info. The bed arrived in no time I ordered it on a Tuesday and received it on Friday (I even talked the UPS guy into helping me carry it upstairs). The bed was easy to remove from the packaging and My Wife and I were able to put it up on the foundation. As for the smell it is not that bad and quickly went away. I have been sleeping on it for a week now and feel more rested and not as sore when I wake up. I would recommend Healthy Foundations to anyone that like me had sticker shock when they started pricing the TempurPedic beds.

Thanks much for the full disclosure- though you probably could have gotten away with never saying a word and quietly changing your web site, it speaks volumes about your company that you chose a different path.

Allow me to say that I, as well as several overnight guests, have slept soundly on my mattress since I got it in December. Every person who has spent the night on it is wowed- it's pressure-free, comfortable sleep.

You're #1 on quality, service and price as far as I'm concerned. Count me as another completely satisfied customer.

I've had a Healthy Foundations topper pad for a few years, and I just love it - wouldn't want to sleep without it. I didn't want to spend the money to get a whole memory foam bed, and my mattress really wasn't that bad - just too firm. So I looked around and found Healthy Foundations on the web - and they had such great information and offered such a fair money back trial that I decided to take a shot and try out their topper pad. I went with the 2" pad, and boy it just made all the difference in the world. The pad has such a nice inviting feel, and it conforms and cradles my body in a wonderful way. Healthy Foundations was great to do business with - the topper pad arrived quickly and was just as advertised. If you have an overly firm bed, try out this topper pad - it really gives me a great night's sleep.

The descriptions, narrative, and analysis appearing at the Healthy Foundations website convinced me to buy the 2 in. mattress topper, the Platinum Mattress pad protector, and a pillow as a special gift. Apparently all the advice on the website was good advice. The person who tried the gifts had degenerative discs and continuing pain in her lower back. After using the memory foam for a few days, she was ecstatic about her lack of pain and about how wonderful she felt each morning. She said, "It's like therapy while you're sleeping" and " I will never sleep on anything else" and "Every time I make my bed I just praise God...I have no pain while moving around (totally unlike before trying the memory foam). Healthy Foundation is true to their "365 day Money Back Trial." I purchased a topper in January and returned it in June, without hassle. Of course, I was responsible for the return shipping, which is more than reasonable.

As a side note, there was nothing wrong with the Healthy Foundation topper. The topper did provide a more cushy/softer feel; however, my mattress was just too firm.

If you feel like you need just a little more cushion or want a melting into your bed feeling, I would recommend the topper, yet if your mattress is very firm the topper probably won't help relieve your pains/aches. We have had the Healthy Foundations topper pad on our bed for about a month now and I can safely say that I am fully relieved of all problems associated with my mattress. We have a very firm mattress and I would wake up with sore spots, mainly at my shoulder and my hip. Every since I got this pad, this is no longer a problem. Once I lay down on it and sink in, it's hard to stay awake. I sleep fully and deeply and then wake up rested, and that used to rarely happen.

We got the 3" thick queen size and just put a "t-shirt" cotton fitted sheet over it and it's extremely comfortable. I can't imagine how comfortable it would be with silk sheets.

For years I have slept like a baby (woke up every 2 hours, crying). What a change since I started sleeping on this mattress. This mattress is phenomenal. Now I sleep 8 hours and wake up refreshed. No need for you to look any further...it is all that it claims and more! Arrived in 3 days, but I had to wait another two days for the mattress protector. The smell was there but went away in 2 days. I am of a certain age (and experience some power surges) but have not found the mattress to be hot. I love the mattress, my husband loves it, and my cats love it! I also love the fact that when I turn over, it does not disturb the husband or the cats. They are happy.

The product (2" mattress pad) quality, customer service, promptness, web site all excellent! I wanted to write because nowdays a good buying experience is not the norm. I had looked at full memory foam mattresses online and to be honest, I just couldn't afford $2,000 right now. I got all the information I needed from the web site to make an informed purchase, including comparisons with other available products and links to other anecdotal evidence. I ordered this on Monday evening and received it on Wednesday, so I recommend this site without qualification. Besides that, I have severe chronic low back pain. Excellent service, but topper was not for me. Couldn't get passed the smell. After one week the topper still had a strong, chemical smell. I wrote to Brian and explained my concerns, including information I read regarding the toxicity of the chemicals used to make his topper-TDI. Brian was great and answered all my questions but felt that my topper would not lose the smell. I was upset because I had read so many great reviews and couldn't believe no one else had this problems. I have a weak sense of smell so this came as a surprise. I had no problems getting my refund quickly. If you want to try a memory topper, this is the place. However, I will be looking for 100 percent natural latex!

I am extremely pleased with Healthy Foundations. This is the third 2-inch topper I've purchased from them; my first purchase was almost 5 years ago. I replaced it a couple of months ago, and also bought one as a gift. The pads are incredible; I've purchased memory foam toppers from other sources but these are by far the best quality I've seen.

I would also highly recommend the mattress protector. I was using a thinner quilted mattress pad over the topper, which I was very happy with. But I recently replaced it with a waterproof protector, and WOW!... what a difference! They are absolutely right. I can feel the full benefits of the foam now; I didn't know what I was missing. It also seems to sleep a bit cooler than with the quilted cotton pad, which is an added benefit.

Healthy Foundations has a very informative website, and their speed of delivery is top-notch. They also email detailed instructions on how to unpack and care for the toppers, and provide tracking information for the delivery. A most excellent company to deal with... both the company and their products are highly recommended!!

The company's customer service is second to none. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical, even after reading all the positive comments and feedback on this site and others, given this was such a large purchase and there was no way to try it first.

Healthy Foundations toppers are made from the same group that makes the Overstock.com toppers out of Corona Ca. I found this out by buying one from HF and then later one from OS.

If your buying HF topper, look at Overstock. You might be able to save some money.

My wife & I have now slept on our king size mattress for 6 nights now; and, we are both extremely satisfied. My wife insists on a firm bed, but I like comfort....this mattress fits both requirements.

I received my California King 3'' mattress topper on September 7th. As long as the pad holds up for as long as they say it should (3 or 4 years) then its worth the price I paid. I am a bit suspect that it will hold up only because I am 6'6'' and weigh about 210 lbs, but so far so good. I would suggest to anyone buying a new mattress to buy a cheaper mattress and put the money you save toward the topper. I think as long as your mattress is firm, you don't need a high dollar mattress when you have the memory foam topper...its that comfortable!

Just when I had decided that customer service was dead and I was doomed to wait for months for rebate checks,I purchased a mattress topper from Healthy Foundations.Three months later I decided it wasn't working out for me,so I checked their return policy--365 days and no questions asked.
It got better! I'd tossed the box the topper came in, but I was told I could buy a replacement from my shipper and the cost would be reimbursed.When I emailed the tracking number as requested(I AM NOT KIDDING!), I got an email back within hours telling me that the full purchase price and cost of the box had been refunded to my credit card. I don't think the shipment had even had time to leave the pickup location.

After gaining over 50 lbs. during my second pregnancy, I was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. My hips hurt so much that I woke up every half hour or so and since sleeping on my back (not recommended when pregnant) and stomach were not options, I was really frantic. I had been unable to get a 'good' nights sleep for years. I had tried premium brand mattresses, several versions of flotation mattresses and adjustable beds. In each case I would repeatable wake up with  back, hip and or shoulder pain.

I love my new 10" memory foam mattress from Healthy Foundations. I looked at Tempurpedic but it was a little out of my price range. So I came across the Healthy Foundations website and decided to take a chance on a lower cost alternative without actually trying it out first. Boy am I glad I did!! It came in 9 days with no problems. Absolutely no smell when taken out of the package. To me it provides much better support than the Tempuredic. It is firm but at the same time makes you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. I no longer have a stiff back in the morning. The down side is that I do not want to get out of bed in the morning and can't wait to get back in bed at night.
So if you are on the fence, I definitely think you should give this mattress a try. There is no reason to spend extra money for a Tempurpedic.

We were thinking of getting a whole new mattress/boxspring set. Our bed was fine, it was just too firm for us. We purchased the 3" topper and we absolutely love sleeping on it. It is like sleeping on a cloud. We look forward to going to bed more than ever. We saved $$$ by not replacing our bed and that makes us sleep better too.

Seems excellent. Ordered on a Thursday and it arrived by UPS on Monday. The box was quite tattered but the mattress was flawless. Very comfortable, however I am finding it a bit warm. Just have to adjust the amount covers. I don't think it could have been done much better. It has a zippered cover so that it can be removed for washing. I have not been tossing and turning so much. I think it is a very good product and would recommend it and Healthy Choice very highly.
