Terrible service. If there is anything wrong with the product you bought from them, too bad. They don't even have manufacturer contacts or offer any assistance with the manufactuer should a product be missing parts or have a defect.

1. They have a prominent order tracking tab-- good to see-- but when I checked it on Monday four days after I place my order it said the order was on hold--three days and three calls to cutomer service finally got a bright person who actually looked up the order and found that it had been shipped and gave me a real tracking number-- so don't trust the website they don't update it. 2. I prefer to give my cc number to a real person on the phone instead of using a website interface (Heartlands is a little shacky) as the sales rep totalled my order the amount was different -- shipping was higher than stated on the website-- after several cool responses from the rep I ordered it online-- they would not honor the stated shipping cost on the phone. Overall not impressed with their service.

My husband ordered a set of outside solar lights. They were missing parts when delivered, and when he contacted customer service he was told that he had to repackage them, and return them insured at his own cost, and only then they would send him a replacement. This is an unacceptable way of doing business.
I bought a cuckoo clock. It is actually a beutiful looking clock. It hung on the wall for 3 months, and then literally fell apart. It is the roof part that hangs on the nail. The whole bottom part of the clock broke loose from the roof, and the roof was still hanging on the hook. A few inches to the left, and it would have fell on my 5 yr old grandsons head!!!!!!! This thing weighs about 10 lbs.I contacted customer service, and they told me that I would have to call the manufacturer, which is located in China (go figure)!!!! This stupid thing was put together with only a few staples, and built by "assembly line slaves. Heartland America is just another ChinaMart, no better than WalMart. I will NEVER buy from this company again. Customer service was rude.
I received the product but thus far am unable to get it to work. It do not have the capability for CID and CIDCW as stated, don't see the speakphone capability advertised. It looks like this item will be returned. So far as the other item (Camcorder), I have not received yet. I'm disappointed w/that. Not very pleased with this order at all. Read more

There was no invoice in my packages, the rocking chair did not have enough glue so it's not together very well. I was supposed to be able to go online with the invoice number and get a $10 rebate but there was no invoice to be found in either box. The AA batteries are all dead. I had 4 batteries in a screw driver that was starting to spin a little slow and I replaced them with the new batteries from the box I received from Heartland and it hardley moved. I tried to replace the 2 AA batteries in my digital camera (which is why I bought them in the 1st place) and the camera would turn on for about 5 seconds and would not even snap a picture before it would just shut off. Very dissappointing and I'm not even going to bother contacting Heartland because it will be too much of a hassle to get the crap replaced, with most likely more crap. I've tossed both the batteries and the rocker is on the street waiting for garbage day. I won't make the Heartland mistake again though.

Their email order response system does not track all of their coupons and discounts. Makes it very difficult to determine whether correct coupon or discount has been applied until order arrives and you can check order total on the enclosed invoice with what actually got charged to your credit card. Really a poor system. Read more

The so-called rebate is only in form of credit on future purchases. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it.
The phone doesn't work and interfers with my computer. The answering machine portion doesn't function but produces an irritating buzz.
I am so unhappy with this purchase I will place a review in the site and will never purchase from this company again.
I am not even bothering to return it as I am sure they won't refund the money but again only offer store credit - which I would find a waste of time.
The order was received on time but I had no way of tracking it as I got no confirmation of the order via email or any other method. I waited for the 3-4 day service I paid for and received it on time.
Very poor quality - and don't use this vendor again if you are wise.
