These folks are excellent.  The site is easy to navigate, the prices are outstanding and a quick web search will easily dig up a coupon code to save a bit more money.  I have sensitive skin and really appreciate Hocks.com for providing the specialty products I need at affordable prices.

I made an order for some soap (it was hard to get elsewhere). I ordered a total of 14 bars but only got 6 (back ordered on 7 and missing 1) and paid over $7 shipping for this. They made good on refunding the price on the one missing bar of soap, but it took a weeks worth of calls to get this (it was for the principle of the matter). In the end they are refunding less than $0.30 for the shipping. If I would have known that they did not have enough in stock, I would have ordered elsewhere. They even admitted that their computer was not good about notifying about backorders. Eventually, I looked hard elsewhere (drugstore.com) and got a better price and free shipping to boot.

I placed and in full through Paypal for an order on March 26, it never arrived. I have written twice now attempting to determine the status of the order and have not even received the courtesy of a response. I am now out $40+ have not received my order and cannot even get the consideration of a response. I have now written advising of my intent to file a formal claim with Paypal and Internet fraud report if I do not hear a response by tomorrow 4/11/04.

I ordered a One Touch Ultra Mini Blood Glucose Meter Kit.  It arrived at my house within a reasonable amount of time.  The kit comes with the monitor, strips, lancet pen, lancets, storage pouch and a control solution that is used to check the monitor every week.  This solution expires.  I expected the expiration date to be at least a year but this one expires 2 months from now.  I sent an immediate email off to Hocks asking for some assistance regarding this.  It's been 19 days and no response from customer service yet. 
In addition, regarding the same order, 9 days ago I went to use my newly purchased One Touch Ultra Mini Blood Glucose Meter.  Guess what, dead battery!  I sent off an email to Hocks customer service and it's been 9 days with no response.  I'm feeling sure that I will never hear from them.
Beware of this company selling items that have been setting on the shelf till near expiration. 

Hocks.com seemed like a good idea at first but when I received the wrong items, it was a pain from there on to get a refund. They gave me a refund minus the shipping charges, plus paypal charged me to receive the refund. No ones gets back to you when you leave messages. Then when you speak to someone they promise one thing and dont follow though. I would use someone else. What a pain. Never again will I use Hocks.com

BUYER BEWARE. BUYER BE GONE. For the sake of your health, wealth, and happiness, go somewhere else and you might not get the shaft I got. They write: shipped Friday. They say: really, picked up Saturday. They say 10 free strips. They cancel out for lack of supplies and without an offer of satisfaction. They say give USPS 3 day for Priority Mail. We gave 'em 5 days and we have NOTHING from Hocks, except a recorded message.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY. The extra 15 cents you save is not worth it! I ordered a product on a Thursday. Sent multiple e-mails the following week inquiring about the status of order with no response. Finally called "customer service" line to ask about my order. I was told they were behind on orders due to the holiday. The last holiday we had was three weeks ago! Then I was told they were short handed with staff. Then the lady said well I'm sorry and there is nothing I can do about it and hung up on me. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Please stay away from these scammers!

Customer support is non-existent. I made an $800 order with them and a lot of the goods were damaged. They didn't respond to emails and wouldn't give me my money back for the damaged goods or send me new packages. I lost a lot of money because of these scumbags.
