Overall, Great Price, Good Deal, Inferior Customer Service

After reading some of the reviews about HomeClick, I was apprehensive about ordering from them. However, they were offering the bed I wanted (Klaussner Miller Mission Bed) at 50% less than other merchants. Since most people seemed to complain about delivery time, and since time was not of the essence for me, I crossed my fingers and took the plunge by ordering the bed on 1/13/09. Today, 2/2/09, the bed is sitting in my bedroom and looking better than I'd expected. It even came with slats with support legs which hadn't been mentioned in the ad. Great! Between the time I ordered and the time I received the bed, Homeclick's customer support was weak, and their delivery notification system was poor. However, aside from that, I'm very happy with them, and feel I couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else.

Horrible experience trying to get a replacement for incorrect item.

I did not research this store before purchasing. That was a mistake. The item I received was not the item I ordered. HomeClick issued a return label and I shipped the incorrect item back. UPS tracking showed that Homeclick received the package back two weeks ago, but I still haven't received a replacement. I have called customer service four times in the past two weeks and have been told each time that they are processing a replacement order. They still haven't given me a shipping date for the replacement. After waiting for two weeks for the replacement, I asked for a credit instead and was told they could not give a credit as the replacement was being processed. I would never shop at this store again. Believe the reviews you read on these sites about poor customer service and return policies. If you have to deal with a return for any reason you will be sorry that you ordered from this store. The risk is not worth the cheaper price

NEVER ORDER FROM HOMECLICK.COM! Extremely poor communication! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! A one star rating is very generous! Extremely poor customer service and staff! STAY AWAY! Online order status was not updated with correct information or in a timely manner. When I contacted them concerning a problem with my order, daily, they never initiated any type of response back. They would promise or guarantee I would have a response to my problem and I would get nothing. The only promise and guarantee is that I will never order from this site again! THEY JUST DON'T CARE!

BEWARE! I must urge extreme caution before doing business with this firm. Although their literature claims that you will receive all manufacturers warranties this is NOT TRUE. I have a client who purchased a Vermont Castings grill recently. The grill was defective. HOMECLICK customer service was not responsive and said we had to deal directly with the manufacturer. Vermont Castings said they would not replace or refund because HOMECLICK had not purchased the product directly from them but rather through a distributor. My client is stuck with a useless $2,000 piece of junk and HOMECLICK does not want to do anything about it.

Worst kind of retailer. They take your money for goods they don't have in stock and NEVER tell you, until after you've waited weeks for delivery and have contacted them. THEN they say it's backordered for another month. When you demand a refund/credit to your credit card, they promise it in 2 or 3 days. That was a week ago and still no credit. Whereas I believe their actions violate Federal law, I am filing a complaint with the FTC.

I registered for Homeclick for our upcoming wedding. I decided to order an item off the registry to see how efficient they would be. Thank God I did! They did state on the website that it takes seven business days to ship but I never thought it would take two weeks. When the stoneware finally shipped it was shattered into a million pieces. I called to complain and to talk with a supervisor about my fear of still having Homeclick be my registry site. They said that things break and offered me no reassurance that it wouldn't happen again. It has been three weeks and I still have not gotten a credit on my account. I keep getting the run around between departments. They are very unorganized. Needless to say I am now registered at annexcookery.com and things are wonderful!

Customer Service was AWFUL! My son accepted delivery of toilet without inspecting contents. When we inspected the contents was broken. Several weeks yielded ABSOLUTELY NO satisfaction. WOULD NEVER shop at homeclick.com again!

Stay away from this store!!!
I ordered the item on Dec 1st and after 2 calls (7days later and 10 days later) they told me that the item would not ship until Dec 24th, too late for X-Mas, obviously!!!
Credit card was charged on the day of ordering.
Nothing on the website nor order confirmation said that the item was not in stock or had delayed shipping.
No effort was made to compensate or do anything to keep me as a customer.
Stay away!!!

I found the item online, but I had questions, so I ordered the item via telephone. I noticed that they charged my credit card twice, so I called customer service and was told they would take care of it with accounting, which they did not. I opened a dispute with American Express. After many more calls and several weeks, I got a call from doubleclick saying that if I didn't want both orders I had to refuse delivery of the second shipment and pay a restocking fee. I received only one order, which was on time. I never received a second order. Because doubleclick could not provide American Express with proof of delivery, American Express reversed the second $600 charge.
Although I tried to resolve this with doubleclick with many, many phone calls, I was never able to do so. Every person had a different story and they never seemed to be able to communicate with each other. It seems like they need new Customer Relationship Management software!!

For what I needed to buy, these guys had the best prices on the net. BUT we received everything 3 WEEKS beyond the outside estimate for shipping arrival time.

Homeclick had the best prices I found on the net for bathroom fixtures. Thats the only plus. When placing order, staff not overly helpful. Lead time on delivery was 4-5 wks. Order took almost 2 1/2 months. Customer service kept giving me new dates, and when no order arrived I called again. They eventually BLOCKED my number. E-mail is said to be answered within 2 days. My 2 emails to supervisors of customer service were NEVER answered. Very unsatisfactory experience.

I would not shop with Homeclick again. Customer service is not their goal contrary to their slogan. I cancelled my order when they could not confirm delivery in time. I specifically asked about the restocking fee since the items had not been shipped and was told their would not be one. The items were shipped anyways. Now I must pay a restocking fee and return shipping. I did not get the impression that the customer service representative cared about what was represented in previous conversations with Homeclick. This company is not true to their word and do not run an honest business. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Ordered Kohler sink, brass drains and Herbeau faucet 11/12/04. Sink arrived on time. Called and emailed many times about faucet and the customer reps didn't have a clue. This was to be a Christmas present for my mother.The website states they will ship Herbeau faucets in 5-7 days. Six weeks later, no faucet, no clue. I cancel order (12/23/04). As of 01/17/05, HomeClick (Home Decor Products) has not credited my VISA account for the $625 faucet.
You will spend hours on hold, your emails will not be answered, your phone calls to "Jennifer" alleged "Manager of Customer Service" will not be returned.
The Better Business Bureau of New Jersey should take action against HomeClick.

The price was right, and the website offers free shipping. But contacting anyone at the customer service area is virtually impossible. No response to emails or phone messages. They call you when they want to, and do not take your phone call at all. Also the hours for conducting business are 9 p.m. Pacific time, but the office hours in New Jersey end at 5 p.m. As anyone can see, this is very frustrating if you shop in the evenuing and have any questions.

I already had received the product before I received a message from Homeclick that the order had been shipped from the factory. Prior to that, the only information I had is that the order would ship and should be received within 28 days. So I had no idea how long it would actually take.
