Deceptive or incompetent, I still don't have what I ordered.

I feel Homeclick is either deceptive or incompetent. I paid for my washlet on 7/8. They assured me (with 3 emails and 4 telephone calls) that it would ship in 1-2 business days. Today, they admit that they don't have it and can't get it until the end of August! They have wasted so much of my time and now I have to start all over. I missed the window with the plumber, more hassle and expense for me. The telephone support was pleasant, but not helpful (what else could they do?) For a few dollars more, I would have saved myself so much wasted time on the phone and coordination with the contractor doing the installation. I see the same product is advertised today at their website for $20 more. So, I wonder if they have it in the wharehouse but will be giving it to someone else? I had to cancel the order today and start all over. These guys give internet shopping a bad name.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

I purchased $2,000 in bath fixture. After waiting 5 weeks they delivered used, repacked damaged items. Extremely difficult and time consuming to get anyone from their customer service department on the phone. I cannot get anyone there to issue a return authorization. I assume I will need to take legal action to try to recover my loss. I have been shopping online for years and this is by far the worst experience ever.

Great prices, wide selection. All items delivered on time and packaged very well. I called to place my order and the sales rep was knowledgable and helped me choose the right options for my BBQ. I ordered several items at the same time and they were shipped seperately but all were delivered on time or early. This website has products at prices you just can't find anywhere else.

I ordered a BBQ. The site said it would ship in 2-3 business days. Then the order confirm came and said it would ship in 3 weeks. I called within 10 minutes to cancel (and was on hold for 15 minutes) and was told that would be fine to cancel. The next day I got a computer email that said it was too late to cancel and I had to take the item. Really? Too late to cancel an item that wasnt going to ship for 3 weeks?

When I first shopped at homeclick it was becuase of the low prices and large selection. then I leanred they had free shipping. I have placed a few orders with them and only had a problem with one. I had to call becuase my itemn was broken, and they quickly took care of the prroblem. The customer service staff did a great job making sure I was totally satisfied with my items.

Beware of very poor customer service practices!

I placed an order and paid for the item three weeks ago. On the day shipment was scheduled I received an e-mail saying the item was backordered. Another shipping date was provided. I elected to cancel the order. I just received a notice saying my request had been received but the order wouldn't be canceled for 5 business days. This date is after the rescheduled shipment date of the item.
Therefore, I can't order a replacement item for another week while I await either the cancellation of the order or the shipment of the item.
Absurd!

Personal service is great...when I need it. Usually do not. This is the second bathroom that I have outfitted with Homeclick.com products...I am a VERY careful shopper and will research this stuff tirelessly...they are always the lowest price. I am sure that Home Depot Expo hates to see me browse their fine stores only to see me buy from homeclick. They say they are lowest prices available...WRONG! I can buy the same stuff from homeclick at 10-20% less than they can offer...oh and then there is free shipping and no taxes...the bottom line is I am close to 30% lower than their "contractor" prices. The website is functional, fast, and leads you from initial purchase to final checkout CLEARLY. Surprised that the 8% discount was taken automatically...nice Color me fickle AND happy...and that is a real tough combo to attain.

In searching for tableware by Denby, we found the best prices at Homeclick. Not having heard of them, we checked the reviews on Epinions. We were somewhat concerned by expressions of long delays in delivery times and difficulty in reaching customer service. Perhaps we were just lucky, but our experience was terrific. I called customer service initially just to see if I could get through before placing an order, and waited approximately 7 minutes, which I found acceptable. After placing order for dinnerware, the first shipment (of in-stock items) arrived within a week. Subsequent shipment from the manufacturer arrived one week later. I find that to be remarkable service for any online discount site. All items arrived beautifully packaged and intact (except for one piece with a chip which appeared to be a manufacturing defect). We are following Homeclick instructions on how to handle this and expect an appropriate response. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our experience.

There prices are good but their delivery stinks. I ordered from them and checked to make sure the item was in stock which it was. When I placed the order they charged my credit card immediately and gave me a ship date three weeks later. Called them several times, waiting up to 45 minutes,to cancel the order. They never answered the phone. Had to call my credit card company to cancel...Don't buy from this company.

The medicine cabinet I ordered from Homeclick arrived broken (it was shipped via UPS). I called to report the damage and Homeclick customer service said I would receive replacement item by middle of the following week. After more than a week went by with no communication from Homeclick, I called again, only to discover the replacement order had not even been submitted yet. The shipment damage was not Homeclick's fault, but their lack of follow-through was disappointing. I emailed Homeclick to ask that they NOT use UPS for shipment of the replacement item - they did not acknowledge this communication in any way (even to tell me they couldn't honor the request), but just shipped with UPS again.

3/26/09 Homeclick is definitely out of business - website closed - says "all orders that have not been fulfilled have been cancelled or refunded". Fat chance of getting anything out of them. As the middlemen, they never had responsiblity for the product in the first place. Buyer beware and call your credit card company to report this. You may be able to dispute the charges.

I have had a BAD experience at homeclick.com. First, their website was incorrect when it stated that the product was in stock or not. It said it was, but it was not. When I called to request status, they were very surly and said I should check online with the shipper. Yes, they have good prices but with service like this I can get good prices many other places instead. Avoid them.

Placed order for Waterford crystal pitcher on 11/27/2004. attempted to get order status online. was never updated. emailed 4 time and called twice (20-25 minute wait) finally received return phone call informing me item was out of stock and production. charge my credit card on 12/2/04. will take them 3-5 days to credit account. this was a Christmas present. company's website is deficient and can not track. When did they plan of contacting me regarding the status of my order?????????

What customer service? I have been trying to return an order for 2 weeks. There customer service number is never answered. The emails for a RA# are never answered. Luckily my brother is good friends with the Attorney General of New Jersey. Maybe they will answer his office's emails and phone calls.

Customer service has been a nightmare with Homeclick. I ordered on 3/12 with a statement that the item would be shipped on or before 3/27. It is now 4/10 and the order status states shipment delayed. FIVE emails and one phone call later I still do not know what is going on and NONE of my emails have been responded to. When I did talk to customer service on the phone they stated that they would email by the end of the day with an update, that was a week ago.

After 45 minutes on hold, I was transferred to someone's voicemail and never was called back. THis was after two e-mails to customer service to try and find out when I would receive my items.

They have a no refund policy that makes me nervous. It doesn't matter if you order the product then find out it won't be delivered in the three weeks promised, instead it will take twelve months on backorder, something the company could definitly overhaul to provide better customer relations.

We did extensive research to discover what size tub was required for us. We measured the extent of the tubs we sat in and figured that your measurements as seen online would work. So, the representation of the tub measurements stated on homeclicks site were not what we measured when we received the tub. My husband will NOT FIT the tub as received and because of the measurements not actually representing that size. WE now have a tub that cannot work. We have been told we will pay a $700 restocking fee which we believe is not OUR fault. Couldn't homeclick see that our purchasing history has been multi-thousands of dollars over the last six-nine months and assist us in any way to correct this 700 ERROR? We have ordered another tub from homeclick ($4000 dollars this time) and are now deciding if we should keep that order or not. Can't you assume any part of the inaccuracy of the tub measurements as being inaccurate for your customers? We would appreciate some help here. My husband has been trying to negotiate with managers and he is having difficuty even reaching them for a phone conversation. Maybe we will be forced to stop purchasing from your site due to assistance in errors NOT being able to be resolved without the customer taking a $700 dollar hit!! Merchant buys from distributors. Merchant has not idea if the items are in stock or are backordered. Merchant cannot call customers about backorders because they have not tracking system. They depend on the customer to call looking for the item. Then they check with distributor. My faucet was delayed two times on backorder. Both times, I had to call HomeClick. I finally cancelled the order. I would not recommend doing business with them as they are very disorganized.

Web site specified a shipping time of 2 to 3 days. 10 days after placing the order, I got an email saying that my order was PLACED, was not cancellable, and would take 4 to 5 weeks to ship. My credit card was charged immediately after I did the original web order. It is now 36 hours after I replied to the delay notice email, and I have not received a response yet.
Vendor SHOULD have:
1) stated realistic shipping time on the web page
2) contacted me about the delay to obtain my approval if the delay was longer than originally stated.
3) not charged my credit card until item was actually ready to ship
