I have purchased through homeclick.com several times in the past 4 years. Each time it was for a china and flatware pattern for either wedding gift or Christmas gift. I've had an EXCELLENT experience with Homeclick. Their customer service was great. They were responsive to my questions, Delivery was on time and sometime earlier than expected. The packing of the china in all cases was PERFECT! Overall I was very impressed with Homeclick.com and would and have recommend them to many friends and family members. Maybe the experience I had was due to the products I ordered were coming direct from mfg? That may have been the reason for the good packaging? Whatever the reason, they apparently had a good relationship with those mfg. I'm disappointed this website is not available to place orders.

Rotten Vendor - High Line Site Appearance - Low Level Service

Look at vendor ratings carefully, a 70% favorable rating is pretty low. HomeClick.com - A miserable service experience. Ordered an LG over-the-range microwave oven (LMV1630ST) which was defective on arrival, but not obvious until it had been installed. For replacement, they wanted me to wait 3 business days to issue an RMA, then after they got the product back, they would replace it. The turn around time would have likely been 10 days - 2 weeks after delivery of the original defective unit, before I had a working unit that I had paid nearly retail for. In other words, it would have taken close to a month from time of order to get a non defective unit they had in stock.
HomeClick would not issue an return RMA for 3-5 business days. Customer Service reps are courteous, but the return policy is ridiculous. Think twice about purchasing anything from this company, it's Bizrate and Epinions rating now around 70% satisfaction is falling. Consumer Beware !!

Customer Service is a complete nightmare. You have to go to your credit card company just to get your money back on a refund. They actually have great products, but it is NOT worth the hassle - avoid this place if you can. It is now 8 weeks and I have still yet to complete my transactions with this company. Merchandise was returned and it took 6 weeks and credit card company intervention to get it back. A promised partial restocking fee has taken 8 weeks and still it is not posted.

Nonexistent customer service, no refund after a month, do NOT order here

1/22/06 order for an espresso machine was placed. Homeclick promised delivery "on or before" 2/6/06 and immediately charged my credit card (that's a first sign of a bad online retailer, in my book). On 2/13/06, I sent an e-mail asking for an update, and received no response. On 2/16/06, I called and was told that order would ship 4/25/06 (!). I requested cancellation and reversal of charges and was told it would take 3-6 days to process and 3-6 days to post. I was also told I would receive a message via e-mail confirming the cancellation and reversal. It's now 2/27/06, my online order status is unchanged, I have not received a phone call or email from Homeclick confirming my cancellation. They have my money and refuse to give it up. I continue to ask them for a refund. After many weeks and numerous phone calls, I got them to process a credit to my credit card. I will never order from Homeclick again. I will tell everyone I know not to order from Homeclick.

I ordered an item through homeclick.com. The shipped the wrong item. I contacted the company via email. There was no response from the company. Then I called the company. They told me that they would email a return label within 48 hours. I never received an email. I emailed the company again. No response. Then I placed another phone call to the company. I was told that a return label was in the mail and that I would receive it within 2 days. It is now 5 days later and NO return label.
Each time I contacted the company, customer service was very friendly. Do not be fooled by them. They will tell you whatever you want to hear.
The upshot is that homeclick.com is a fraudulent company! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I am not done with this company. I will be contacting the BBB, state attorney general's office, my credit card company. Someone must be able to help me deal with these thieves! If you don't believe me, read some other reviews from other people. Some of them are quite scary.

Buyer beware. The worst customer service that I've ever experienced. I did not receive the item that I ordered, then they gave me the run around while trying to return it. They even sent an email stating that there would be no restocking fee. After, I returned the item, they send an email telling me they are going to charge the 25% restocking fee. I thought it was just a mistake that someone had overlooked the first email, but no. They think that they can do whatever they want and there is nothing the customer can do about it. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It would be better not to use this company to begin with.

Worst on-line shopping experience ever

READ THE FINE PRINT. Horrible customer service and delivery. Waited 5 weeks for shipment then emailed them twice for status. I had to have this merchandise because it was holding up my remodeling project. They said it wouldn't ship for 2-3 more weeks and absolutely refused to cancel my order because it was special order goods. Cancellation policy for special orders is buried in their website. My shopping cart and confirmation never included a warning or note about the policy. Talked to gum chewing customer service rep who would only quote their policy. When I asked to speak to his supervisor I was put on hold for several minutes then told she was "away from her desk" and got forwarded to her voicemail. Call was returned in a couple of hours and arrogant supervisor who would only quote their policy and wouldn't budge on cancelling the order. Contacted the Director of Customer Service who finally agreed to cancel the order. I'll NEVER shop here again.

Although they say they accept returns, their is a huge 25% restocking fee and on many items - where it states no returns or cancellations - this includes exchanges as well (even though it is not stated on the website). Make sure you like what you are buying, can wait to get it and don't expect to be able to return it or exchange it...

I was able to buy my Herbeau tub online from Homeclick.com. I saw it in a showroom, but they were not able to get it...so I turned to the internet. The showroom said that it will take over 2 months to get, and homeclick had it available within a few weeks. They shipped it out for free, and without any problems. I am glad I spent a few minutes searchin around the internet. I will use homeclick in the future for sure.

I ordered a set of Noritake dinnerware and several serving pieces from HomeClick. When I place the order I was not told that some items were back-ordered. After nearly 2 months I am still waiting on several pieces. Customer service is terrible to non-existent. Over the past 4-6 weeks I have emailed 4 times and the none of emails have been answered. I called the 800 number and after holding for nearly an hour I was told the rest would arrive when it's available. I love what has arrived so far, but because of the extremely poor customer service I would recommend you avoid this company. I'm just hoping I eventually get the complete set of dinnerware!

WORST INTERNET SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Stay away!! Of 5 items ordered, only 2 were ever received: Impossible to get through via phone and next to impossible to get a response via e-mail. When e-mail response was finally received, it was filled with lies as was order status on website. Credit card is charged on order, so now I will begin the process of attempting to cancel the unfilled orders and hoping to get my money back.

Be aware!!! They will charge your credit card but you can never get your order and wait forever while they return your money back. Do not believe that they will reply to your message soon. If you live in California, do not provide them with you phone number. They may call at 6am.
Delivery speed is zero, customer service is horrible.

What good are low prices if you never get your order? I ordered some expensive European china for a wedding gift. HomeClick charged my credit card immediately, then told me it would be four to six weeks. After five months of stalling, they still couldn't give me a delivery date, so I finally cancelled the order and got my money back. Never again.

I have to disagree with the previous writer and his delivery nightmare tale. I think the problem must have been with the deliverer, rather than the shipper.
I ordered two toilets from HomeClick.com. The prices were the best I found anywhere. Both toilets were delivered quickly with no charge for shipping, making them cost me less than I would have paid at one of the discount home depots. They were left on my front porch, but my husband and son had no problem carrying them into the house. It was less hassle than bringing them home from the store would have been.
Do heed the previous caveat about checking your merchandise quickly as HomeClick will not pay damages for anything reported more than three days after delivery. That seems to be a fair restriction to me--anything can happen once the product is delivered.
I would recommend HomeClick, which carries deluxe products at economy prices. I had no trouble with their website except that I couldn't access it at times, but that may have been my own ISP.

I entered the wrong zip code on the shipping address. Spotted within minutes, but had no way to correct. They weren't home when I called. I filled in a customer service form, but never heard from them. The product still hasn't arrived. I will never buy from them again.

question #2 was answered n because I have not yet received the order and I cannot rate the service.
Haven't received all my order and have not looked at the portion I did receive. The first part came 3 days after the shipping confirmation was emailed to me so, following the same time line, I expect the second third today. Not sure about the last part of the order.
I did receive a one day discount for the time frame in which I placed my order, but didn't find it at an 'old' email address until after the order was placed. Emailed customer service about the possibility of an adjustment but have not heard back from homeclick,
Have never had a problem in the past so am confident the order will be as expected.

First time user of Homeclick.com. I got exactly what I ordered. Homever, Homeclick did not update the status of my order on their website, even after the item was shipped. I had to call several times to get an update and delivery information. Customer service hours and days available were not up to my standards. Overall, it was a good transaction.
