Watch Out! No Credit for Damaged Merchandise

My product was received damaged and returned. Homeclick filed a claim with the trucking company and got paid for the damaged merchandise. They are refusing to issue me credit because the oven was not returned to them. Per their claim agreement with the trucking company when a claim is made and paid, the merchandise is not returned. They effectively are double collecting. I am now in the process of filing a claim with the Attorney General.

My neighbor actually made me shop here when I told him that I was going to do some minor work on th ehouse and would need a few things. Even though I have always been reluctant to shop online, I figured I could give it another try. Homeclick.com was very impressive. They had an extensive product line up, more than I actually wanted to have to choose from. I ended up just forwarding the link to my decorator and let her make all the important decisions. The execution of the order went smoothly, so I am sure I will use them again!

I ordered a gift item for christmas 6 weeks prior. The week of christmas no item. I call and found out that the gift was back ordered and would not arrive until 2/5/08. No communication about this. I went back to their web site and the item was still listed as "in stock." They refunded my $320. Great! Nice going HomeClick! Merry Christmas!!

I ordered two sinks, two faucets and all my cabinet knobs from Home Click. I received all in perfect condition. I measured the the cabinet hardware incorrectly and had to return it twice(I'm a poor measurer). Both times I promptly received replacements and credit for my order very quickly.

Prices:
I shopped for my items at traditional kitchen supply places, home depot and specialty stores. I bought high end fixtures, Franke sinks, Top Brass hardware and Grohe faucets. Their prices were the best I was able to find.

I highly recommend this web site.

Having read a number of reviews to learn about potential pitfalls of this vendor, I went into the experience with eyes open, but was still enticed by the unbelievable prices. For the products I purchased (plumbing fixtures) the prices were the lowest out there by a wide margin. I placed my order on October 1. It is now October 8 and I have received everything I ordered (8 items in all). They arrived well packed and were exactly what I had ordered. I cannot speak to their customer service since there was no need to contact them. I am pleased and am actually placing a new order today for an additional item.

We have been in the process of a major kitchen remodel. I found the sink I wanted and searched the internet for prices. Homeclick had the best price. After reading the epinions regarding them I decided to purchase from them. I placed my order over the weekend and I received my sink on Thursday. Had Homeclick had the additional item(s) I wanted I would have purchased for them.

Product pricing was certainly acceptable, but unit delivered had a minor flaw. Attempted to contact customer service by phone, but could never get through. Used customer service web page to request an RMA for return, but never received anything. Called repeatedly with no success. Would not recommend due to extremely poor customer service.

Bad customer svc-waited 5 weeks+ for refund for items never recd

I placed an order with Homeclick.com on December 6th and my credit card was charged the same day. On January 6th, I emailed the company to ask where my items were and was told that my items ordered had been discontinued and I would receive a refund in 2-3 days. I didn't receive my refund until January 17th (after several phone calls and emails). I was told by customer service that had I not called inquiring where my items were, the company never would have realized I didn't get because it was being delivered straight from the manufacturer. I don't think this is a good way to do business and I wouldn't shop with them again.

Horrible! Been waiting 5 months for a refund!!!!

The prices they offered were very competitive although when the item (Espresso Machine) arrived it was the wrong one.... of course the less expensive model & Didn't even work! It took over two months to get a return label sent and it has taken several phone calls (waiting an average of 10 minutes on hold) and another three months and I still haven't received a credit. Never again would I shop at HomeClick, no matter how much I was going to save!

I am frequent internet shopper and this is the fist time I have dealt with such a HORRIBLE and DISHONEST company. Maybe I have been fortunate, but can not believe how things are handled with this company. Have tried to reach "Jennifer Young" as she is noted as primary contact with BBB when I was not getting issue resolved with CS. No replies and unanswered emails. Item was shipped cracked and beyond repair.

Homeclick has a very wide selection of quality items you will probably not find in home improvement stores even as a special item order. Homeclick's selection is great, ordering is easy, but please be aware that just like at the bath store when your item is ordered it may take several weeks for it to arrive at your home. Some of my items arrived the next week and some had a longer arrival time. I did contact Homeclick about one item that was damaged by shipping and they replaced it immediately but the pickup of the damaged item was delayed. Their Customer Service department honestly tries but takes perhaps longer to reply than usual. Overall, we purchased many
items of all different types for a home renovation. The quality and prices are excellent. Customer Service lacks a little and allow a longer delivery time frame for your order. Delivery for large items is by common carrier. Overall my experience has been excellent and the savings are certainly worth it. Homeclick is convenient and saves money with a great selection of quality items.

ITS THE WORST EXPERIENCE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOURE COUNTING ON GOOD SERVICE AT XMAS

Did not receive the 4 dinner plates I ordered (also showed as being in stock and was notshipped immediately) I received a lesser priced 4 piece place setting. I had to send back their mistake and they charged a 25% restocking fee and then had to wait for a credit and then go through the whole process again.
ALSO, THEY CLOSE AT 5 EASTERN TIME SO THERE IS NO ONE TO DEAL WITH IF YOU HAPPEN TO LIVE IN CALIF AND CANNOT CALL BEFORE 2. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF GOOD BUSINESS IS TERRIBLE.

The WORST on line shopping experience I've ever had!

Ordered two items that were listed as in stock when I placed the order. Upon receipt of my confirmation (and after my credit card had already been charged) I discovered this items were not in stock and was given an expected ship date several weeks out. That day passed and the items were still not on their way so I called to cancel the order. Was then told it would take 2 days to confirm cancellation and receive my credit - YUP another lie. The cheaper of the items has confirmed cancelled, although the credit has not appeared on my account - the second is still pending.

This company is very fast to take your money and very slow (still being optimistic that it will happen) to meet their side of the deal - whether it is to actually deliver the goods, or provide a credit. Their customer service is a joke - basically told me tough luck and that was it.

The low prices are simply not worth it - better to deal with a reputable site that actually meets their end of the deal.

I ordered a cook top from Homeclick. They charged by credit card Feb 8th. I still have not received even though I have been told by two people the item was shipped March 7th. No one seems to be able to figure out where exactly it was shipped to. Customer service is horrible. They do not answer emails. Live chat takes forever. You can't get through on the phone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - the money you save is not worth the frustration.

Ordering the product went fine, however when it arrived the finishes were not what I expected. I went back to the web site and read the description and it is very vague and misleading. There was no way to get more information so I just had to guess as to what the finish would look like and am not pleased. Also, when my package arrived one of the glass shades was broken so I called the customer service number and was on hold for 31 minutes.

I have to send the product back due to the size in depth, which was not posted on the describtion. I think a 25 percent restock is way toooooo high and will not shop at home-click again , due to this policy. Ellen Pope

1. ordering was great. 2. one of the items was incorrect. 3. When I called I had to wait too long for live customer contact (23 minutes). 4. Once I had contact, the rep was courteous, efficient and very nice. 5. I was told the deficiency would be reported and someone would get back to me. 6. No one has. 7. I received a confirmation of shipment on another part of my order...it was being sent to the wrong address (somewhere in Hawaii), 8. I e-mailed back that the address was incorrect. 9. No response. 10. I have not yet received the rest of my order or a correction of the items missing from the first shipment. Recommendations: Faster human contact on your end. On shipping confirmations, list items being sent. When an error occurs, make contact. If an item is incorrectly sent, make contact. I feel as if I've been ignored and have no idea what is going on with both the correction to my original order and where the rest of the order currently is (I hope not in Hawaii). I just hope that this does not become a credit card problem if I am charged for items I do not have. If partial shipments are being made, state so, let the customer know what is being shipped and approximate time of the remainder of shipment being sent. This way, one would have a better idea of what to expect. Thank you.
