Fine China..ONLINE!

I ordered some fine China from homeclick.com becuase I could not resist purchasing them for the price. I went to all the stores, and outlets, and could not find my Mikasa pattern for a price I could afford, until I went online. I did not even know you could buy such merchandise online, but homeclick.com has it! There selection was amazing, and when I saw the price I did not even think it was for the same product. I even called to make sure the items were new and not used, because it was almost 50% cheaper than the store. I ended up placing the order right on the telephone and when I received the items they were exactly what I wanted. Brand new, and not broken! They went great at my next dinner party! I highly recommend this company.

I found homeclick to be a great resource to the internet. When I first stumbled across the site I was a little dissappointed at how it was laid out..and I still am. That being said, they do make up for it with lowprices, free shipping, and almost everything imaginable. The Product lines they carry are vast, and they have everything in that category. They also sell the stuff that is hard to find elsewhere, especially on the internet. I would have never thought that you could buy a toto toilet online,let alone any toilet online! I also purchased a nice whirlpool tub and sinks. Homeclick shipped all of these items out to me for free, and on time. My contractors thought I was crazy for ordering this stuff online, but after they saw that I did not get scammed, but rather ended up saving money.

Homeclick's inventory system seems to have no relation to their shopping site. I ordered 12 place settings of china, and heard nothing for 2 days. Then within a half hour I got emails telling me that they only had 2 place settings and that the order was shipped! I had no opportunity to cancel the order that had no use to me. What was I going to do with 2 place settings of china? So I called customer service (which is only open very limited hours, not typical in my experience of online shopping) and was told they would get back to me when the returns department had made a decision! What's to decide??? I called back later in the day and was told they would accept my return and they would be sending me Fedex labels so I could return the merchandise without paying for return shipping. I thought they had redeemed themselves, but it has now been a week and I have not received the labels. I would never shop here again (too bad, because they seem to have a good selection and good prices) and would never recommend the store to others.

Worst online shopping experience!

Avoid Homeclick at all cost! Three weeks after placing order it took me 9 more days to get order/shipping status. An email and 3 phone calls. No one calls back - they give first name and ext # but never answer their phone. I will never shop there again! This is the first time I've ever written a review - positive or negative - but I wouldn't want anyone else to go thru what I went thru!

The worst customer experience ever when ordering online.

I placed two orders on Dec 4 and they were supposed to ship on or before Dec 18. There was also a guarantee that all orders would be delivered on or before Christmas Eve.
Dec 18 came and went with no shipping confirmation. I called customer service and they informed me the vendor was out-of-stock for my two orders (would have been nice to know this information beforehand without having to place a phone call).
I explained that they needed to satisfy their promise of getting me these orders before Christmas. They said they could not and offered me a lousy 10% discount, which I turned down. Later they offered me a 15% discount, which still was not nearly enough compensation for the terrible experience I have had.
Do not buy from them if you expect to have something delivered when they say, or if you expect to be actually notified when something has gone wrong.

I purchased a sink from homeclick since the first place I bought it from filed for chapter 11 I was hesitant at first but was pleasantly surprised when my sink arrived 3 days later.

I ordered a Napastyle Santoku knife on 11/12/05 and was immediately charged. Order was promised to ship 3 weeks later and has never shipped as of 1/15/06. After many attempts to contact customer service, I finally sent message to cancel order and then contacted my CC company whom promptly refunded the charge and opened an investigation into Homeclick's practice of charging without shipping, hopefully they will lose their ability to go through CC companies which will, I hope, put them out of business.
Be warned order from them and you'll just be having to get your CC company to reverse the charges.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I have made 2 purchases with them - the first one went smoothly (large shower and large bathtub). And the second was just for some shower valves/knobs.
First strike: They had the wrong price listed and I only found this out because I did some froogling and found the shower seat was $75 elsewhere but $160 from homeclick.
Second strike: Because I had to call them to ask about the shower seat, they weren't going to give me the discount for ordering on-line.
Third strike: The shower parts were suppose to take 2 weeks. 3 weeks later the website says my parts are finally in stock - but homeclick only sends out 1 of the 4 tiny boxes. 7 days later and 3 emails from me (all with no response from homeclick) I finally decide to call customer service.
Fourth strike: The customer service WAIT TIME - 53 MINUTES just to have someone say, oh one of my colleges has responded to your email and has put in a request to have the items shipped.
I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN EVEN IF THEY DO HAVE GOOD PRICES!

I found the best deal ever on Royal Albert Old Country Roses fine china on Homeclick, and after reading reviews about the site, I was very afraid. I decided to try and order when I found out the company was under new management. I am soooo glad I did! I got a most beautiful set of fine bone china for an AMAZING price! I ordered two sets and one of them came with three broken pieces, and HomeClick gave me $20 for them, which is not a lot, but is fair considering how much I paid for the sets. I can't vouch for all that they sell, but I am very, very glad with my purchase and all of their customer service calls and emails. I got regular emails and the delivery was on time. Terrible, simply terrible. My order has not been shipped in almost one month. It is a mailbox, a simple mailbox. I would not bother dealing with this company. I have been getting nothing but the run around as to when it might ship. They simply don't have a clue.

Very poor customer service and delivery speed! It has now been over a month and I still have not received my order. When I placed the order it said it was in stock and would ship immediately. Customer service has told me the order is hung up in shipping, but cannot explain what that means. Moreover, they charged my credit card the day I placed my order (Company policy, read the fine print), but my repeated calls to customer service provide no results and no concern for my dissatisfaction. I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!

25% restocking fee--OUCH!!!

Be warned: There's a 25% restocking fee on anything that's returned that's not defective or damaged, and it's a long convoluted process to get a return approved.
I ordered Wilton Armatale bottle coasters through HomeClick and they were pretty ugly. A fat restocking fee suggests, to me, that HomeClick doesn't want to stand behind the products it sells.

I was very pleased with the quick delivery of my two place
settings of china. My pattern has been discontinued and
I was unable to locate the china at any department stores,
or from Waterford directly. My order was delivered in just under two weeks. While I did not receive an email that the order had shipped, I was very pleased with the fast delivery. The china was in perfect condition and Homeclick had the lowest price that I have ever seen for my china. I would use them again.

Order tracking is poor. All my items show not yet shipped on the website but I have received items. The one item I received was the item that was supposed to take the longest time to ship. I do a lot of online shopping and like the merchants that send you notification when an item ships along with the tracking information. I wish homeclick did this because the product selection and prices are very good but the order tracking is below average.

My only "complaint" is that most of the items I ordered are being shipped at a later date, it appears that none of these are inventory items. I don't know if this is normal for this merchant or not.

I ordered a $1000 bath tub. It came shatered. Well I guess that can happen. But I've called and emailed since 12-11-07 and here it is 12-23-07 and I still have no idea how or when I will get the broken tub picked up and a new one delivered.
