ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
I ordered Kichler Chandelier and 2 kichler pendants on 3/5/06. I have yet to receive the Chandelier as of 4.18.06. The Pendants arrived in Ripped boxes. Thankfully, they were not damaged. However, calling their customer service is an AGONY. I have had absolutely NO help in trying to get a date for delivery of the chandelier. I have called and called. When you call their 800 number. you end up waiting on the line for a customer service rep to answer at least 30 minutes. I have waited because I TRULY need some answers which unfortunately, they evade with the standard, "we will check on that and get back with you". This "getting back with me" never occurs. Their response time is supposed to be 48 hours! Good Luck.... Not a chance that I would EVER order from this website again!!!!

CHEAP PRICE, BAD DELIVERY

PRICE: GREAT
DELIVERY: BAD - ORDERED 3/9 AND IT SAID THE ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED BEFORE OR ON 3/10. ORDER STATUS (DELIVERY INFO) ISN'T UPDATED VERY OFTEN ON THEIR WEBSITE.
CUSTOMER SERV: BAD - READY BE ON HOLD AT LEAST 15 MIN. WHEN I FINALLY GET TO CUS SERV, THEY HAD TO PUT ME ON HOLD AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 10 MIN BECAUSE MY PRODUCTS WERE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM MANUFACTURE. HOWEVER ALL THE REPS I TALKED TO WAS IN VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER.
OVER ALL MY EXPERIENCE WITH HOME CLICK IS NOT IMPRESSIVE - IN ADDITION TO WHAT I WROTE ABOVE, THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE ITEM THAT WAS DISCONTINUED. I FOUND THAT OUT WHEN I RECEIVED THE PACKAGE AND THE ITEM WAS MISSING. I HAD TO CALL THREE TIMES TO FIND OUT THAT THE ITEM WAS DISCONTINUED (AND FIRST TWO TIMES THEY TOLD ME THAT ITEM SHOULD BE SHIPPED SEPARATELY). THEY DID CREDIT BACK FEW DAYS LATER. I LIKED WHEN THEY SENT OUT NOTIFICATION/CONFIRMATION E-MAILS.
I LIKED THEIR WEBSITE - TRACKING ORDER STATUS IS VERY EASY STEP. (IF THEY HAVE WHAT YOU ORDER IN STOCK!)
WOULD I SHOP THEM AGAIN? - PROBABLY NO..... I RATHER PAY MORE FOR SOMETHING SURE THAN PAYING LESS AND BAD SERV.

UNACCEPTABLE, SLOW DELIVERY

SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! Ordered a high end light fixture based on their representation that it was 2-3 weeks delivery. It is now 6 weeks and Customer Service said (after a 15 min wait) that they would email me in 2-3 days the status. Don't know about you but that is unacceptable.
When I asked why THEY did not know the order was late, I got some song and dance that they had just changed software and some data was lost. If you read the reviews below, some going back years, they must lose software a lot.
Great prices but probably not worth the hassle. They should be ashamed but obviously, NOT!!

Internet ordering nightmare , charged us first, then never shipped.

Ordered a sink by Elkay online on 2/20. Called and wrote many times for an update. Cancelled the order on 4/10 - 7 weeks later.
Very long wait for customer service, no one could ever find a manager, everyone was kind, but some made no notes on the order, some did nothing at all. One cs person outright lied, told me Elkay would never ship direct to one of homeclick's clients, I called Elkay, they said they often did that very thing!
Oh, and btw - they charge your credit card as soon as they get the order!!! Even if they never ship the item!!!
I will never use Homeclick again, never.

Avoid Homeclick.com, shop anywhere else

TERRIBLE - Use plumbingworld.com instead. I ordered a toilet for a bathroom remodel from homeclick.com on 2/2/06 with delivery within 3 to 4 weeks. HomeClick never posted any shipping info and on 2/23 I received an email with shipment dated 2/28. On 3/14, no shipment, called, waited on hold 54 minutes, promised shipment tomorrow. Called on 17th to verify shipping. Told that there would be a delay. I asked if I could cancel, and was assured that I could via the website. canceled via website with notice that I would receive confirmation within 24 to 48 hours. 1 week later, after ordering same item from other company, two toilets arrive, one from homeclick.com. I called to ask why my canceled order arrived, was told that I never canceled and was responsible for 25% restocking and shipping. CustServ person (very polite) refused to let me speak to a supervisor and told me that the returns dept will only work via email and that I would hear something within 24 to 48 hours.

I certainly will not do business with HomeClick again. The prices looked good, item was "in stock" and would "ship in 2-3 days". Ha. 10 days later I cancelled the order. No notice from them of any problem, no response to my email inquiries, and the Customer Service Reps were unable to tell me what had happened. Next time I will pay a few more dollars to do business with another company.

STAY AWAY FROM HOMECLICK

I have been impressed with homeclick's website - unfortunately that's the best and maybe ONLY good part about this company. I ordered a holiday gift in December to try them out before ordering larger items for a home I am building. The item showed "in stock". My credit card was immediately charged but the gift was never sent. I have been following up since. Once in a while I would get a "we're looking into it" email, then nothing. I FINALLY got a decent person on the phone at customer service and she told me that in one week I would get a notice that the order was cancelled, followed by a credit to my credit card in another week - how absurd is that. It is almost APRIL and I have been working at this for many months now. I wouldn't trust these people at all until they get their act together.

Received what I wanted at a great price with fast delivery

In buying a new Fisher & Paykel IntuitiveEco Washer IWL12 & Smartload Dryer DGGX1 the price at HomeClick was $600.00 less than any other price around. I was very hesitant to order from HomeClick after reading reviews on Dealtime and Biz Rate, but the price difference was so great that I took a chance. I first phoned HomeClick and had the customer service rep check if the washer and dryer were in stock. From the negatives I have read that many people didn't get their order in a timely manner, I figured I'd check by phone. I placed the order immediately over the phone with the same customer service rep. She explained that it would take one week for the washer and dryer to arrive at HomeClick and then one to two weeks for delivery. I had my calendar marked for February 13th as the due date. They arrived February 4th! I'm thrilled with the price I got and the delivery promptness. Possibly if people would call first and place their orders only when availability is verified it might alleviate some problems.

Poor communication and delivery schedules not kept

I ordered faucets for a kitchen under renovation 8 weeks ahead of time. These were promised in 2-5 weeks. Six weeks came and no faucets. I was notified that they would be shipped in 5-10 days for sure. I made sure they knew that a kitchen would be held up if this schedule could not be kept. After numerous emails that were sometimes unacknowledged, sometimes answered 4 or 5 days later, and eight weeks had elapsed, I asked that the order be cancelled. By now my kitchen was on hold awaiting these items! Four days later I was informed that I could not cancel these items, that they were non-cancellable, and no new delivery date was offered! Further, they had charged my credit card 8 weeks earlier on the day I placed the order.
I was only able to get my money back by going through my credit card company. Beware of this online store!!!!!

I called regarding purchasing a floor fountain, I was kind of hesitant because of all the bad reviews. I spoke with Tia- She was extremely nice and polite. She said that the reason why probably alot of the people did not have a good experience was because the item that they were ordering was not in stock.So there was additional time to wait for the item. I asked her if my item was in stock. She said yes it was in stock, and it was to arrive in San Diego around 7 to 10 days. As she promised the floor fountain arrived in 7 days. I will recommend this store to anyone
and the price was great. I think the key is to ask if if the item is in stock

I ordered 5 items in May of 2005, and was charged for all 5 items. I only received 4 items. Home Click said the 5th item was on back order. Nine months later, in March of 2006, I still had not received the 5th item, so I requested a refund. I got an email saying "we received your request for refund, please note that your refund will not be processed until you receive an email confirmation for the refund." Now it is September 2007, I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY REFUND OR MY PRODUCT

I ordered an exhaust fan through them on 11/18/05 and still not recieved it (today 12/16/05). Ofcourse the item was paid for fully at time of purchase. When I called today I had to be further insulted by a customer service person who was very rude. At one time I heard him laughing on the otherside. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he refused to let me. I have already sent a complaint to the BBB - not sure if it will matter to them. To whomever is reading this and has not ordered through them, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THROUGH HOMECLICK.COM !
BAD SERVICE! NO PRODUCT!
Update... eventually after about 4 to 5 calls they told me that the item has been discontinued. So a month later I find out the item that I had paid for in FULL cannot be sent.
I asked for a refund of my money. My refund doesnt take place for another couple of weeks. This company is just horrible! I went to another website today and ordered something simmillar for half the price and it will be delivered tomorrow, already have the tracking number.

I buy things online all the time and this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. 99% of my online purchases are positive experiences. This was a nightmare; their customer service is pathetic. CS reps would not follow up as they said they would and emails to customer service took days to get answered if answered at all. I don't think anyone in this company has a clue as to what's going on. The last customer service person I spoke to said that "it's crazy around here, we have so much stuff coming in everyday that it takes a while to figure out where things are". I would never buy from them again, waited over 2 months to get my item only to finally be told that they had cancelled the order internally by mistake. BUY ELSEWHERE!

I have tried to contact the merchant about 2 of the 5 pieces that I haven't received yet. The two pieces are a Christmas gift. Customer service is only open 9-5 weekdays. There was a 23 minute wait to get a live person - I was at work and couldn't wait. I then e-mailed them - it has been more than 32 hours since I sent it and I haven't received a reply yet. I gave them two return e-mail addresses and a phone #. You can't track the order on their website. On the plus side their prices are very good for Belleek. If you want to you can contact me for a f/u to this survey.

Th problem with the mailbox was from the manufacturer. Homeclick was ready to help.

2 of the 6 glasses I ordered were smashed in shipping. I called customer service immediately and they promptly processed a replacement order. It has not arrived yet. Although my merchandise was damaged in shipping I had a very good experience with this vendor!
