I ordered a Porcher Absolut toilet I had seen at Home Expo for $599 and another local plumbing store for $613.00 over Memorial Day weekend for $467.00. My email regarding shipping was answered promptly and the item was delivered by a professional local carrier to the inside my home on July 5th. While the wait may take a little longer then estimated, all stores require a deposit and lengthy wait-service and savings make Homeclick a great deal. I recently made my first purchase from Homeclick and could not be more pleased. I had questions about the product I was ordering, so I called customer service. The person I spoke to was extremely helpful and friendly. He called the manufacturer of the product twice to get more information for me. I placed the order on a Monday, and it arrived within a week. It was a very large package, and it was carefully packed. The product that I purchased, a large weathervane, was a gift, and it was perfect. I will use Homeclick again, and I would recommend it to friends and family.

I purchased bathroom fixtures for a remodel job in our home. The prices were very attractive. The faucet was delivered very quickly, but they sent the wrong one. It took several phone calls and a month to get the right one. When the fixtures came a month after I placed the order. They sent the wrong pedestal base and a defective tank for the toilet. Quality assurance is non-existent at Homeclick. The customer service department is a nightmare. It takes them two weeks just to get a return authorization number. Then another week to mail the return shipping label. Then you can ship the defective items back. Then wait another month for the next shipment and pray that it's the right stuff and it's not defective. The few dollars saved certainly isn't worth the hassle.

Doesn't know the meaning of customer service

Charged my card before shipping my items(while not illegal, it is not good practice). They call this a "100% deposit." It is money they turn around and use to purchase from the distributor. I gather they have no stock or warehouse themselves.
I never got a backorder notice, then found that my order was being handled by some other place called Absolutehome.com. The day I placed my order I requested a change in the color of what I ordered. Within hours I got a response, and I was assured that I would get black lights instead of brass ones. I was (briefly)impressed.
That must have been a temporary email address, because after 3 weeks of no information, I tried sending 3 or 4 emails to the same, previously responsive, address to find out what was going on with my order. After having my emails ignored, I did some detective work and found the other site (absolutehome.com) and figured out how to determine my order status. Called to have it cancelled, and was told that it would take three days because the cancellations department was so backlogged. I think that says volumes. Never again.

Poor delivery time accuracy

I ordered a votive for a birthday present for my friend. It's been a week since I ordered the item, and although they said the lead time would be a week, they have not yet shipped. The gift won't arrive on time. The customer services is impossible to get to. I called and was put on hold for 30 minutes only to be transferred and the put on hold again, a classic case of bad customer services.

I bought a Blanco sink &Grohe faucet. Great Prices but slow shipping.

bought a Blanco sink 511-748 and a Grohe LadyLux Cafe pull-out spray 33-758. best price around hands down. beat local showroom by over $400 combined. delivery speed was so-so. recieved Grohe 10 days after placing order - Blanco was 11 days. don't order here if you are in a hurry. the shipping was free, but there were no shipping options (ie. overnight/next day). products were exactly what i expected despite having the wrong specs for the sink on their website (listed it as 8" deep and had wrong model number on spec page) but i was assured (by costumer service)the product would have the same specs as the blanco website. customer service is TOUGH to get on phone! LONG LONG wait times! only way to check order status is through website with your order number. they do not email you the tracking numbers. AOL guarantee made me feel comfortable buying online. BEST ADVICE = if you order early and you are not in a rush, you can save yourself a bunch of money.

I ordered 15 wine glasses, which were "in stock." I received one. When I inquired, I was told there was a 4 to 5 week wait for the others. I cancelled the order, and was told that I'd receive a cancellation confirmation in a day or two. After 4 days, I again requested cancellation and a confirmation that my order had been cancelled. Nothing. Finally, I emailed a week later, noting that it was my third request, only to get an email the next day stating that, oops, my order had shipped but that I'd be contacted with return information.
Seems like a classic scam to me.

Returns are a bit of a labyrinth but they send you a label and you get free shipping.
Descriptions a bit vanilla, but customer service very good.

Clear directions. I knew when to expect the shipment. I knew if the shipment wasn't on time they would take the return easily. I knew when the shipment was initiated and I could track the shipment until I received it. The packaging protected the product well.

Part of the order was shipped however the my credit card was processed for the full amount which I do not agree with. The credit card should be processed when the product ships and not before. This concerns me therefore I am not sure if I would shop here again or not.
