Horrible

I placed an order on March 4, 2004. It is now Sept. 2004 and still do not have all of the order. Customer Service continually tells me that I will receive the remaining order in 30 days. When 30 days go by, they say it will be another 30 days. When I wanted to cancel and return the merchandise, I was told by Jennifer Breese that I would have to pay a re-stocking fee and pay for the cost of returning the merchandise. I now am going to arbitration through the Better Business Bureau to deal with this corrupt company.
I will never use homeclick.com again.

Substituted item ordered; complete credit not given; poor customer service; overall unreliable

The product I ordered was not in stock. They did not inform me of this, but instead substituted a different item and charged my credit card for it. This was a Christmas present. It took days to call them and wait on the phone to find out that they did not have the item I ordered, even though it is still being advertised. I was told I would be credited for returning the item and was sent shipping labels. Several emails later I was told I would not be given credit for the original shipping cost even though I did not order the item I received. I would not shop at this place again.

A lousy experience and a non caring, non communicating company

I ordered a Kosta Boda product from HomeClick on December 19..The only information when you check on order status on their website is "processing" with a one week lead time. Now, it's 12 days later and I have emailed them 3 times and called them twice to get my order status in detail. They do not respond to emails. They do not return phone calls. I have no idea whether I will ever get this product. I would never use this company again but the problem is that THEY DON'T CARE!... BUYER BEWARE

Awesome! Thrilled with the Washing Machine deal

Here is the note that I just sent to Homeclick:
I am so incredibly impressed with your company. I ordered a washing machine online on Sunday night and it was delivered to my home on Friday. This feat is even more amazing when you consider that the washer left New Jersey and made it to Houston, Texas in that timeframe! I would have difficulty driving that far in that few days.
Furthermore, the washer was brand new, in perfect condition, delivered by an amicable person, and at an incredible price with no tax and free shipping. Your company is just amazing!
Finally, might I add that had I ordered a washing machine on that Sunday night from one of my local big box stores, my delivery options began the following Saturday. Yes, my washing machine arrived from New Jersey faster than my local store could deliver one. Amazing!
Thank you again for a wonderful experience at a terrific price!

Nerve-wrecking

My experience with those guys was really bad - the customer service didn't reply on my e-mails until a week later, never giving me the exact day of shipment.
I ordered 3 lamps on that web site - the prices were very good, so I decided to give it a try.
3 weeks passed after the order date and all I get from them is silence. I called them 3 times, they promised to call me back and didn't.
The worst thing is that they charge your credit card right away.

Backordered twice with NO notification

I ordered flatware from HomeClick several weeks before Christmas. A few days before Christmas, I called because it had still not arrived; the customer service rep discovered it was backordered and reported it would be shipped no later than Feb 8th. I asked why they had not sent e-mail notification of the backorder -- the rep had no answer.
On Feb 1st I called to verify shipping on the 8th; the customer service rep confirmed this. On Feb 16th I learn this present still had not been received, so I called HomeClick again only to learn it was backordered again, now with no estimated shipping date. Of course, HomeClick again waited for my call to inform me of the backorder status. I cancelled the order.
I understand backorders are an unfortunate aspect of business; however, not informing your customers of backorders is inexcusable. I cannot recommend HomeClick to anyone.

Wonderful Shopping Experience!

Great shopping experience at HomeClick! I ordered Lenox glasses as a gift for my mom and was very happy with the process. I was searching for these glasses for a long time and finally found them on HomeClick and at a wonderful price! As soon as I placed my order, I received an email and was able to track it and the gift arrived exactly when stated and in perfect condition. My mom is absolutely thrilled with her new glasses. This was a very easy ordering process and I would most definitely recommend this store and shop from them store again!

Negative shopping experience

Ordered Dacor/Digital Entertainment Center for the Kitchen - DKE24S as the estimated shipping was in 2-3 days. The credit card was charged immediately. Now it is 14 days since I placed my order but it has not been shipped yet. The customer service is a joke and completely unresponsive. If it does not arrive in another two days- I am planning to cancel the order. A completely negative experience.

Beware of items not delivered nor refunded

Great Prices but BEWARE. I ordered 3 items December 19th. Two of the items shipped but invoice said all 3 had shipped. I called Customer service December 24th (day shipment arrived), Called December 27th, a third time December 31, a fourth time January 4th. (at this time I finally received a replacement order number!) When reviewing the order online I learned the replacement wasn't scheduled to ship until February 1st. I called a fifth time February 6th, Item now out of stock (dud I figured that out December 24th when it didn't get packed) I was promised a refund in 7 to 10 business days. Today is February 17....no refund yet. 3 business days to go then the credit card company can take my money back.
Beware if you don't keep track of all your items ordered and keep on these people you may loose your money.

I recently order a refrigerator from Homeclick. We had a few issues with delivery, but those were straightened out. I have mixed reviews of their customer service reps. They seemed to genuinely want to help (the two I spoke with) but also seemed to not have a way of getting the information I wanted. The fridge was said to be on backorder from the manufacturer but we weren't notified of this until we called. The fridge was delivered (after 2 months since we ordered it) last week and it came exactly as described. We are very happy with the fridge, and although we had to wait 2 months for it, I think the issue was mainly with the manufacturer and not Homeclick. Although their customer service may not be on par with, say Crutchfield, they were certainly not the worst customer service I've experienced. I would definitely buy from them again.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

1/5 ordered two Toto toilet seats. On-line said item was avail for immediate ship. Email confirmation several hours later said item would not be shipped for 6 weeks. Called Mon 1/7/08 to verify 6 wks. Was told this was normal as they had to send the request to the vendor since they never keep the item in stock. Immediately cancelled order since other on-line vendors had it cheaper got in 3 days from ImprovementDirect.com. Order had not yet gone to Toto for processing, but was charged 1/7/08 $94.45 ($85.50 + $8.95 shipping cost). I have never had a vendor charge me for the item before shipping. On 1/10 was refunded $85.50. Called to ask why shipping costs were deducted. Had to email copy of credit card statement for confirmation of charge, done same day. On 1/15, called to inquire about $8.95 refund. They said it was in process and would appear on 1/22 credit card statement. It did not. When still no credit by 1/27, again emailed HomeClick. There has been no response as of today 1/29.

I ordered 2 toilets from another site they own : Cliquidate, at a good price. When I asked for fast shipment confirmation they told me I had to pay 100 $ more per piece for shipment in 2-3 business days. I agreed and without me knowing, switched me to Homeclick which sent me an order confirmation at the higher price and without any mention of the shipment date. I tried to cancel the order but was told it was too late. A supervisor said he would look into it but I was never called back by either company. Of course, they got payment from the credit card right away. The order was delivered 3 weeks later, I refused it and am disputing the payment. Everything looked strange, the delivery which came in a rental truck. They had called me the day before to tell me they were going to deliver a package from a company I had never heard from. The fact is Homeclick, Homedecor, Cliquidate are the same company selling the same products at different prices, the lowest price being the bait, rarely available for sale.

Nightmare customer service- slow delivery- will not get your $ back

NIGHTMARE customer service makes this NO BARGAIN- I bought an item- be aware! don't buy anything if you want it anytime soon- evidently most items have a two week wait.. Anyway, I realized something was off when the item didn't come so I called- learned about the 2 weeks and then cancelled the order.
Since then- I got an email saying it was shipped- ! their cancellation policy is to charge you a restocking fee- well, I told them it was their fault- so they told me to reject package upon delivery-which I did/even running after the fedex guy- then I got reimbursed everything .. except for the restocking fee!! I have called *3* times since then - once every week to be assured it was done properly "this time"- NEVER BUY FROM THEM! not worth this aggravation!!

Excellent Value

I have ordered three different items from HomeClick and all three experiences were excellent. Their aluminum ladders from Germany were well priced, very well designed, and delivered as stated. I also ordered an eight (8) place setting of Reed & Barton silver as a wedding gift (for our daughter and son-in-law) and the price was 1/2 of what the jewelry folks wanted. The delivery had the same lead time as the jewelry shop. Excellent value, and if you order from Friday night until Sunday night it is another 10% off.

I found my item at HomeClick and was elated that they had claimed it was In Stock. I couldn't find it anywhere else in stock, even the manufacturer had it out of stock. So I hurried up and ordered my holiday item. Then in shock I started to read negative reviews about HomeClick and felt really disappointed that I may never see my item... But too much dismay and disbelief, I got an email confirming my shipment had shipped. I received my item in a reasonable amount of time and in perfect condition. I have no complaints with HomeClick. I only hope they have more positive feedback in the near future to build up the consumer confidence in ordering from them. Rating from my experience, I would order from them again. :)

Excepte for arriving 2 days late, I was exceptionally pleased with my purchase of Waterford Crystal from homeclick. I was worried about the shipping of such a delicate item, but it was apparently no problem for homeclick.
