The only reason shipping the item was delayed was because Lamps Plus changed warehouses so relocating inventory caused minor delays. I have been very happy with them!

My shopping experience was good. My only regret was that I expected the more ornate and expensive lamp to be glass, and it was fiber glass or plastic. It looks good, but I think next time, I would prefer to go into the shop to be sure what the material is.

I was told to place an order so that I could get a shipping quote but that the order would NOT be processed until I accepted the shipping quote. Never got the shipping quote but the order WAS placed w/o my approval. It took many phone calls, emails and finally a complaint to BBB online to get this matter resolved. I wanted the order, which I did not authorize, cancelled. It finally was but it was a distressing ordeal that never should have occurred. I may or may not shop at this company again; I am not sure at this time.

Overall, a very good experience. For some reason, we never got the promised e-mail saying the item had shipped, so we were beginning to wonder - but then the item just showed up. Shipping time wasn't excessive. Lamp shade (a rather fragile item) was well packed and in excellent condition. I would shop here again.
