First the order was delayed for some credit card verification and then it took forever to actually get the product. It is a good lamp but I wasn't impressed for the amount of money it cost.

The shopping experience was fine, however, when I was shopping online for the floor lamp to go with the two table lamps I had ordered earlier, I came across a website that had the same two table lamps for $70 each less than what I paid at Lamps Plus. I wish they had the policy that many stores do of allowing you a credit when you find the exact item for a lower price at another store. That $140 would have paid for the floor lamp I purchased from them. If I had been able to find the same floor lamp from somewhere else, I wouldn't have purchased it from Lamps Plus since I felt I had overpaid for the first pair.

I ordered a sale lamp from Lamps Plus. Apparently the Fed EX guy left it on my doorstep. I never saw it. I live in an apartment building, so why was it left? It should be signed for.

We found the style lampshade while visiting the store, but they had only one in stock. They gave us the stock number and we ordered it online. Everything worked out beautifully and we received the product before our visitors arrived, which was the whole point.

The lamp I ordered was perfect for the area I planned to utilize it. The sale price was certainly excellent. Delivery & tracking was good. Package had no visable signs of damage. HOWEVER, after unpacking, I noticed a rather large noticible "dent" in the upper part of the column (which the shade covers partially). Rather than go through the hassle of a return, I kept the lamp and used some art paint to try to disguise the dent. There is no way the damage could have been caused in transit; leaving me with the impression the lamp was a "second" to start with and thus, on sale. I do think (if a fact) this should have been disclosed in the description. The purchase made me leary of buying what I expect to be quality merchandise on line from this merchant.

Whenever I think lighting, I always go to this merchant. They have great selection and prices, and the website is easy to navigate. I also like Bill Pay. I even recently recommended them to someone.
There was only one time I was disappointed in Lamps Plus. My husband and I earlier this summer were looking for an outdoor table lamp and coordinating floor lamp for our screened porch. Lamps Plus did not have any such outdoor lamps. We ended up buying them at Target (which was fine, but we would have preferred to do Bill Pay).
