Poor communication and customer service are not worth the low prices that can be matched by other retailers. They're quick to charge your card, but take their time shipping the goods. No emails, no phone calls, just excuses about the snow in Colorado...

I ordered an Eagle Creek Centerline Load Warrior LT 30 for an outstanding price. They even threw in a free Eagle Creek Packit Sack. It arrived in a little over one week, during the Christmas and New Year season. It was exactly the color I ordered and in perfect condition. They will receive any furture luggage orders I have, without a doubt!!!!!

I placed my order on 27 December 2006. I was told my bag was shipped 02 January 2007. It arrived today, 21 days later. I looked at the postage and it was stamped as shipped on 16 January, not the second as they said. They lied to me, all the way up to the CEO, which i contacted by e-mail.

Save yourself the trouble, don't shop this company.

I have made multiple purchases of Piel and Travelpro luggage from LuggageBase. The products/service/price have exceeded my expectations. I doubt if I will need any luggage in the near future, but I would use this company again without hesitation.

I purchased blue samsonite from this company. I really want to blue, but they sent me black which is much more inexpensive than blue. What a monkey business. They didn't provide any tracking number even though they knew it.

This company provides lousy customer service. It took three e-mails before they responded to a question I had about a piece of luggage I wanted to purchase from them. They didn't even answer the question accurately, so I e-mailed them yet again for clarification. No response. I can't imagine what their customer service is like AFTER they have your money....

I recently purchase luggage from Luggagebase.com . On their website they had luggage listed as being 1800 denier (the higher the number the better the quality). When the luggage arrived I decided to check the style # on the internet to be sure I had gotten what I ordered. It turns out that the luggage was only 1200 denier (much lower quality). I called the company to complain and they told me that I could send the luggage back at my expense and that I would be charged a re-stocking fee even though they lied about the product on their website. DO NOT BUY FROM LUGGAGE BASE at LUGGAGEBASE.COM.

Poor Service Very Slow...Ebags.com far superior.

Poor, very slow service. They billed my card immediately but it took nearly three weeks to receive my order. After ordering from them I ordered two separate times from ebags.com. The prices were nearly the same and using ebags.com standard shipping I received both orders before I got my luggagebase.com order.

Buy from ebags.com instead, much better service and prices comparable if not cheaper.

I ordered 2 pieces of TravelPro luggage from LuggageBase.com for $348 because they advertised that they would ship a free Platinum 3 tote with a minimum of a $250 purchase. We ordered one piece of Crew 5 and one piece of Platinum 3. Both of these are close-out items. The order form said we would get a free tote, all the e-mails they sent us said they were shipping us a free tote, and the packing slip said they were shipping us a free tote. We did not get a tote.

When I called customer service, we were told the free tote only applied if we ordered $250 of Platinum 3 luggage. When I pointed out that NONE of their documentation said that and in fact stated that they were shipping us a free tote, they said it didn't mean what it said. They said it was meant to alert me that I had the OPTION to get a free tote if I bought $250 of Platinum 3 luggage. Speaking to a supervisor did no good.

I recently purchased luggage for my husband and I on LuggageBase.com. I had researched every luggage website I could find, and settled on LuggageBase.com as the cheapest. In addition if you do happen to find something cheaper elsewhere, they do offer to match the price and give you an additional percentage off. They certainly have a huge selection, and the website is quite intuitive. I did have some questions concerning the site, and their customer service was very helpful.

My order was processed immediately it was placed, and I was given an order number. My credit card was charged immediately also, however I did not receive the items for 2 weeks. I can't really complain though, it is stated in their shipping options 2-9 business days. The items arrived intact.

Superior customer service! I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews here. Then I figured since there were so few reviews that only the very few that didn't get what they expected had any reason to write a review. I also noticed the L.A. Times and Wall Street Journal reviews linked on their site. Based on that, I ordered a Travelpro Crew 5 carry-on from Luggagebase. I ordered on a Monday and received it that Friday. They had the best price and I got a free Travelpro computer backpack. Incidentally, I had ordered the wrong color so I called that day and they changed the color for me over the phone and were very nice.

LuggageBase.com says it has free returns but does not give you the return mailing label with the shipment and it is not available to print out from their Web site. The only way you can get it is to call their 888 number and request it. However, when you call the 888 number, no one answers. You are on hold forever with endless recordings. I will never order from here again.
