Sign up to join a possible Class Action Suit against MagsForLess.com on http://www.rippedoff.drewgiefly.com/ Also, fill out the internet form at the NY state attorney website. You can also file a complaint with the NYC fraud dept.
Lets not let this guy get away with this any longer!!!

If you're even considering it - Please don't order from them. I ordered a three year subscription of "Popular Science" magazine in April '07. After 12 weeks I contacted customer service who said that they would resubmit my order to the publisher and I should receive it within 6-12 weeks. 12 weeks later I'm still in the same position waiting for the first copy of my magazine to appear - Again they apologised and promised to personally resubmit/track my order and that I should wait another 6-12 weeks.

It's now February - almost 10 months since I first placed my order and all I really want from them is my money back so I can order this subcription from a more reputable service that will actually deliver - Right now, I'm concerned that they won't refund my money back. The link for a 'refund' in their customer service automated email response does not work - what a surprise.

To sum it up - Don't order from these guys, they'll rip you off and keep you waiting for a magazine that you'll never receive.

I ordered three magazines in July of 2006 and it is now April of 2007 and I have not received a single issue of any of the 3 magazines. Save your money, MagsForLess will take your money and run.

I received a refund from magsforless.com about 6 weeks after I filed the complaint.

I had the same experience tht everyone else had. Paid for mags and they werent delivered.

They are crooks. They took my money immediately for AutoWeek, 4 months later, I've contacted them 6 times with no magazine and no refund. Don't trust them with any order, you have a better chance of getting a magazine by throwing your money down a sewer.

I too purchased 3 magazine subscriptions from them on Dec. 17th 2006 as gifts. One was delivered out of the three. I never receive any response from anyone when I e-mail and they have also deleted my orders from their system now. I have copies of them although it probably won't do any good. To those of you who did receive a response you should look up the persons name in the phone book and call them at home. Maybe they'll get tired of it and give you your money back. If I had a name that's what I'd do. Of course, that's assuming they gave you their real name. It's worth a try.

Ripped off, but saved by the credit card company. I ordered a 3 year subscription to Rolling Stone Magazine, but after 3 months of waiting, I inquired from MagsForLess. I sent in several emails, and only received one initial reply. The other emails went into limbo land. After reading the reviews on Epinions.com, I quickly notified the credit card company to cancel the transaction, of which they did for me. This website needs to be removed.

Ordered People magazine on Dec 14, 2007. In March, wrote back and they said that their supplier went "defunct"--I thought People was the supplier. So, they ordered it again. Waited til May--still no magazine--this time they tried again. It is now September 5--no magazine. I asked for a refund and they sent it out (they said) 3 days ago--we live in the same state--so the check must be walking here. I ordered online A LOT and this is the worse company I have ever dealt with.

AARRRRGHHHH!!! Don't use them, despite their prices! Their "customer service" system on their website stinks!! I agree with other reviews about the runaround they give. They used to fill orders, but it looks like they don't anymore. What can we do to shut them down? I will file complaints as suggested with BBB (NY?) and NY Atty Gen. I'm not out too much $ but it's the principal. In a warped way, it's comforting to know I'm not alone. Next time I'm checking opinions first!
Update!! I filed a complaint with the NY BBB (not hard to do online) and did receive a prompt refund.

As a followup to an earlier positing, I had the same experience as everyone else. I order a magazine last July (2006) and never received the magazines. After numerous complaints, I finally gave up, figuring it was not worth the effort anymore. Imagine my surprise when this past Saturday (Nov 2 2007), I received a check from an outfit named PMR Enterprises LLC for the amount of my subscription, with a notation "magsforless refund". I guess no good deed goes unpunished after all.

The Lone POSITIVE Experience?

I ordered my subscription BEFORE reading all of the online reviews for MagsForLess.  I found an unbelievable deal on a magazine for 4 years and purchased it.  When I read all the reviews...and there are hundreds of them...wherein each of the reviewers had a difficult time getting their magazines or their money, I was dejected.
BUT...I placed the order online on June 12, 2009 and by July 28, 2009, I had the first issue in my mailbox!  I went online to the magazine's website (not magsforless) and looked up my subscription, and there it was listed for the next 4 years.  So I've gotten an $80 subscription for $26.48.  I know my story doesn't begin to stem the tide of bad reviews, but I felt I HAD to post if only to be a beacon in the darkness.

This Company Sucks - Run don't walk away!

Orderd a product from them that was on their web site.  Seems the magazine went out of business before subscription would start.  Didn't both to notify me.  When I went to them becuase I didn't see the magazine, they sent me an email stating that I could get a refund from them.  So I had to go to them because something was "Out of Stock"
Had I not been diligent with this company they would have stolen 20 bucks from me as well. I've been in a request for my refund, now we'll see if I get it.

My thoughts?  Although they have good prices, if the magazines you ordered never get issued, then it's not a good deal after all!
