no magazines 5 months after the order for 4 years was placed and charged to my credit card. Now BBC complaint. This site deserves our comments to BBB. I made a report. Thanks to Epinions I got their address in NY, NY so maybe BBB will add a few comments for them. Hope they get shut down..

Stay Away!! I wish I had found this site before I made my purchase. The website informed me, after making my purchase, that there was a problem with my order, however, the problem wasn't big enough to stop them from taking my money. I tried numerous times to contact them, email, phone, but like others I am unanswered. I filed a complaint with the BBB and also a claim with PayPal. Hopefully someone can eventually stop these guys from scamming innocent people.

total scam:

i ordered two magazines from the website halfpricedmags.com (all part of the same criminal enterprise). they charged my cc but the magazines never arrived. i inquired multiple times about my order. first time: they "assured" me it's coming. five months later, it's not coming AND they stopped returning my e-mails. had my cc work on getting a refund (god bless citibank!).

I went to MagsForLess.com to renew my subscription to Autoweek because they were one of the few offering subscriptions to this magazine and they were very inexpensive. It has now been 3 months since placing my order and 6 weeks since my initial subscription expired and I have yet to receive the magazine or a response to my contacts with My1Mag.com (same company).
I paid for the subscription with PayPal so I have no way to get get my money back.
These guys are a ripoff operation. I cannot believe that anyone gets satisfaction from them

It's a scam. Requested a magazine back in June and have had the same experience as the first reviewer. Buyer Beware and remember that nothing is free (or that cheap).

I wish I read these reviews before I was scammed out of my money! Ordered four magazines that never came, emailed "customer service" three times and never got a response. I'm going to attempt to get my credit card company to file a claim, but since it was 4 months ago now, not sure what they are going to do. Do not give this SCAM your money!

I was also completely scammed by Magsforless. Do not order magazines from them! They have no phone number that works, they have not answered any of my emails, they are a pure scam, plain and simple.

I too was hesitant to place an order after I had heard so many bad reviews on this site. What I received was 100% of what I had ordered. I had 0% trouble with getting the magazines, they all came as promised. It may have taken a month or two for the subscriptions to start, but I found my experience positive.

Add me to the list of saps that fell for this company's scamming ways. Ordered $71.00 worth of magazines on 27 June 06 and as of 4 November 06 i have received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING including replies to my ( threatening ) e-mails ! Guess the old addage of something being too good to be true is just that.....TRUE ! Will attempt to get satisfaction thru my credit card company due to non-receipt of goods after payment was made.

I tried to order a magazine at MagsForLess (very stupid of me) and the verification screen never came up and I never received the customary email confirmation so I assumed it was not processed and ordered somewhere else. MagsForLess charged my account not once but twice for a magazine I did not need. I tried to get a refund for months and finally got a reply that said

"I apologize for the duplicate charge made to your account. I have looked into this and have confirmed that you were charged twice. A refund for the duplicate charge will be issued promptly to your account. Please allow 5 business days."

It has been another month and I have not seen any money. Do not use this company. Save yourself the frustration.

I have ordered 4 magazines through MagsForLess and received all of my subscriptions just as quickly as any other of the much pricier companies I have purchased through in the past. I was extremely skeptical, however, given the low prices, but I am not any longer.

I had great fun buying at this website. I have purchased 6 magazines so far and not only I got a chance to collect redeemable points but also free subscription when I referred to my friend. I would recommend this site to everyone.

Magsforless has been good to me. Went online, easily ordered Sports Illustrated (the cheapest price around) and had it delivered to my home when I expected it. I can't complain at all- - this site was simple and great!

yep, no magaizne. no email response, no contact, nothing. In fact, my login information has been deleted! They completely took my money = scammed, damn.
