I ordered the automotive magazine package (http://magsforless.com/pd_automotive.cfm?RID=46481&TID=10) and got all three magazines within about 6-7 weeks. They were a little slow to respond to one of my emails (it took about two business days), but overall I am very satisfied and I will continue to order from them.

RIPOFF - SCAMMERS

Stay far away from this company. It is a pure scam. I've ordered magazine subscription from them over 6 months ago. I have received no response. I've contacted the BBB and they claim they did NOT get a response from MAGSFORLESS. I filed a claim with the Federal Trade Commission www.ftc.gov and I recommend that everyone else files a complaint with them as they will press fraud charges against them when they receive more complaints. I also filed a fraud complaint with the federal postal service.

A huge scam. I placed and order on June 28, 2006 and as of today, September 27, 2006 I have received nothing. Mags for Less web site says to contact the publisher. None of the publishers from which I have ordered have any record of an order being placed. They say contact Mags For Less. Repeated requests to Mags For Less For publisher contacts have been ignored. I intend to pursue a formal complaint.

Horrible experience. I have started with 1 magazine, and they said it may take up to 12 weeks to receive my first issue. . . we are now finishing 16 weeks and every time I e-mail customer service, they respond with the same thing, "it may take up to 12 weeks!
This one is like gambling, win/lose, mostly lose.

BEWARE OF SCAM!!!
I originally thought this was a great company, as I ordered several (small dollar amount) subscriptions from them last year and received them all with no problem.
WELL.....
I ordered a subscription for People on June 26th ($94.99). I was told that my subscription would begin anywhere between 8/7 and 9/4. It is now 9/11 and I have not received anything. In the past week, I have attempted through the www.magsforless.com website to dispute the order. All three attempts have gone ignored. Growing suspicious, I did some net-sleuthing and found that I am not the only sole in this boat!
I tried all the phone numbers I could find - none got me a human. One said "thanks for calling, goodbye" and hung up.
I then called People - they do not have any record of me yet!
So, I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute for the charge. I'm thinking this is the only way to get any of my money back.
I plan to file a complaint with the BBB as well.
BUYER BEWARE!

Fraud!! Shameless!

They offer magazines with incredibly low prices that sound too good to be true. Indeed they are. You will never see your magazines delivered even though your card was charged as soon as you subscribed. Every time you contact them, either there is no reply, or they blame some errors in the process, and then promise you another 4-12 weeks within which you should be receiving your magazine. By calling the 1888 number listed on my credit card statement, the automated service says the mailbox is full, please hang up and try again.
I am going to have them investigated.

I contacted Paypal (who I made payment thru), emailed MagsForLess repeatedly, contacted the publisher of one of the magazines I ordered and contacted the Better Business Bureau in New York. I don't know which one worked, but I just received notice from Paypal that I received a refund of the money paid for my second order that was never received. At least I'm not out any money--I don't think I'll be ordering from them again though.

Do not order unless you like waiting for months

It's been 6 months & I still have no magazines. I actually received one of the three I ordered & the next day I received a bill for it. It's always the same story with these people. You send them an email & they respond with "sorry there was a mix up with your order". It seems that's what they tell everyone because the have an automated email. Do yourself a favor.. STAY AWAY from this company.
