Add my voice to the many that are not happy with this company. It is certainly easy to place an order, but their follow through is terrible. Three months later I'm still waiting for my daughter's birthday present subscription to arrive. Pay the few more cents and go with someone who can actually deliver what they promise.

110% SCAM! Stay Away!!! Report to NY BBB

Absolute 110% ripoff! File with NY Better Business Bureau, they are handling this internet scam site. Like everyone else, I was taken for several subscriptions, and the specific credit card I used for this purchase (which I rarely use otherwise) had its number stolen and was used to try to make purchases. There have been a lopsided amount of people who have also had their cc #'s stolen after dealing with magsforless.com. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Ordered in August 06. Nothing received by December in spite of many many apologies, promises and emails. Finally, after reporting to BBB, Paypal, and various boards, they refunded my subscription fee. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THIS COMPANY.

They took my money almost four months ago. I have not gotten my magazines and they will not respond to e-mail or to a complaint form on their web site. No customer service and no magazines.

Never received multiple subscriptions purchased, no response to multiple e-mails, no other way to contact them. I found many similar complaints on e-bay, Epinions, and other review sites.

Alas, the promise of cheap goods is belied by the miserable scam artists such as this company. I filed a compliant with the BBB and wrote this up to a learning experience. I am also retroactively contesting the charge with my credit card company (at least I was smart--if that's the right term under the circumstances--enough to use a credit card).

Save your money and you illusions. It is very disappointing to see scam artists like this that are still active.

In Oct. 2006 I ordered and paid via CC for 3 subscriptions of the New Yorker. I was charged twice by Magsforless for the subscriptions, once at the beginning of Oct. and once at the end of the month. I was told by them via e-mail to expect up to 12 to 20 weeks for delivery. To date, non of my subscriptions have been filled and I cannot get a direct response to my complaints. I phoned the New Yorker and they do not have me listed for any subscriptions. Magsforless just took my money and ran.

Ordered a two year Popular Mechanics subscription in January 2006 and here it is May and no magazine. EMAILS to customer Service are a waste of time and judging from others experiences, I should write the money off! Maybe I will try disputing the charge on my credit card but that is probably a waste of time as well since it has been so long.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believed in MAGSFORLESS as they had GOOGLE checkout. But I had a worst experience. The money was charged immediately and then on there was no response for months... I ADVICE don't ever try this website.

I will never attempt to order from this site again.
I attempted to order Jet Magazine using my VISA check card. A response came back that my order could not be processed. I knew there was money in my account so I went to Amazon.com and ordered the magazines I wanted. When I received my bank statement magsforless had deducted the cost of a magazine subscription from my account. I called the 800 number, no one answers the phone, I left a message, however no one ever called me back. I then sent an e-mail, after a couple of days I did get a response back that says customer service can not find a subscription in my name.
Customer service was going to research with the billing department regarding the money deducted from my account. After 3 weeks I finally get a response back. This is my response: You should dispute the charge with your credit card company. LOW COST = PROBLEMS

I ordered a subscription to 3 magazines in September. It is the end of February and I have received no magazines. I have been attempting to get a refund from them for 2 months. They have cancelled my magazines, but have not issued a refund. They don't respond to emails. If they do send a response, it is an automated response. Do not give this company a penny of your money!

This is perhaps the biggest magazine "scam" on the internet. If you (like me) have submitted an email to them and recieved a response, try changing the "t=" number in the helpdesk link. You'll find hundreds of unsecured help desk requests (possibly thousands...I didn't have time to go through them all), all with the same carbon copy "sorry your magazine is showing "delayed" or "We noticed an address error which is why you never got your magaszines" bs excuses. When I say hundreds...I mean that literally.

You'll also notice that they delete your helpdesk tickets if they do not feel like responding, so there is no record of your requests. I'd advise you keep copies of the email chains going back and forth. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I ordered three magazine subscriptions more than five months ago and never received one magazine. I submitted several inquires through the company's web site and never received a response. They claim the magazines will take at least eight weeks to arrive but often longer. This means if you pay through a service such as PayPal you will not receive any help from them as PayPal's refund policy is 30 or 45 days. MagsForLess's own refund policy is only 30 days. What a joke.Save your money and stay away from these clowns.

I have also been having troubles with this company. Last year, I placed an order for a 1yr subscription of cosmo with no problems at all. I received my first mag 2-3mths later. This year, I purchased a cosmo, redbook and elle bundle for around 15 dollars back in November 2006. To this day, I have yet to receive anything. I am thinking of filing a legal dispute against them.
