Total Rip Off - No Delivery - No Response

I ordered Popular Science in November 2006. After three months I still had not received the magazine, so I checked the MagsForLess website, verified the order, the address and e-mailed them indicating non-receipt. After a week there was no answer to my e-mail. I e-mailed again using their form and continued to e-mail every four days. After six inquiries there still has been no response.
For me the only thing that happened quickly was the acceptance of my payment in full. Ninety days later, still no magazine, no refund and no response to my e-mails.

The worst customer service one could imagine , a total rip off.

I paid for a subscription for The New Yorker magazine in August 2006. Now in Feb 2007, after waiting more than 6 months, I have not received a single copy of that magazine. There is no phone number on their web site to contact them and they do not reply to my emails either. I would certainly not trust that website again but can anyone tell me where can I lodge an official complaint against them and how can I get my money back?

I had the same problem as everyone else.
Got charged, no mags, lots of lies about taking care of it.
Customer service is set up to be difficult.
Finally after almost a year I contacted the Internet Fraud section of the New York Attorney Generals Office and immediately got a refund check. Google seach for the New York Attorney General's Office and file a claim!

"FRAUD ALERT" BEWARE OF MAGS FOR LESS

I ordered from this website for the first time, a total of approximately 12 magazines for my medical office waiting room in August 2006, the process was easy and of course they took my money via credit card to confirm the order, and promised a prompt start of subscriptions before my previous ones expired. I and my patients have been waiting for the last 5 months for the magazines to arrive. Numerous emails have been sent, since the phone number is a fake, with no response.
Please note no legitimate business would ever do this, and I warn any future customers to avoid feeding this scam. This is the danger of internet based scam companies, and I fully intend to get in touch with the NY attorney generals office to file a consumer fraud complaint. We have been buying magazines off the shelf for full newsstand prices to fill our waiting room mag bins, while these scammers take off with the customers money.
After I read epinions I realized I was scammed!

My credit card was charged the same day of the purchase. Its been two months and I have not received a first issue. Thats not the biggest problem the worst part is they have an "order lookup" in their website and my order number does not exist, nor my zip code, nothing. They have no record of my order, they have NO customer service phone number, there is NO ONE you can contact, only an email address which I have written to several times without any response. If a company does not even have a phone number to call its certainly NOT a respectable company. There is NOTHING you can do to complain or let them know or ASK! what the problem is. The only thing I can think of is request a charge back from my credit card company. That of course takes time and effort. They are thieves. I wish there was a way to know this BEFORE buying a subscription.

I love this site. My friends told me to order my magazines from it, and they were right. I was able to find great prices for the magazines I wanted (the site is so easy to use!) and the first one arrived yesterday!

I didn't have any problems in 2005 (1st time). Magazines came 2 months later and customer service responded promptly. I renewed 3 or 4 magazines and subscribed to 3 or 4 new ones in 2006. I waited for 3.5 months and contacted customer service. 3 weeks later still no response from customer service. I contacted magazines directly and found out that there were no renewals or new subscriptions. Good that I paid with the credit card and they just refunded the money. I checked reviews and BBB and it looks like the problems start the 2nd year and it takes much longer to get a refund from the company if paid with debit card. Probably the company hopes that people will just drop it as a "cheap" lesson learned.

I ordered my magazines over 2 months ago from www.Mags4less.com - STILL NOTHING! This site is a complete scam and rip off, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! PAY extra money and buy magazines from a site with their heads on straight! I am absolutely disgusted! They don't even have a phone number! It's like this company is run by an 8 year old from home! WASTE OF MONEY, COMPLETE SCAM AND RIP OFF!!!

Watch out for this on-line store. I have purchased three magazines from this merchant. The first two subscriptions were sent without a hitch. The third never arrived. Nor could I successfully contact their customer service. I sent over 20 e-mails to them. They were never answered. I will not shop there again. I never received a refund either.

Don't order from MagsForLess

I ordered four magazine subscriptions from MagsForLess and never received them though my credit card was promptly charged right after I placed the order.
I have emailed and phoned them a number of times with absolutely no results. They will not respond to complaints and have absolutely no customer service.
I am apparently out my money but I hope I can warn others that this is not a legitimate company. They will not provide you with magazine subscriptions and you will only lose your money if you order from them.
I wish I'd done a little more research before I placed my order as it appears I'm not the only one to be bilked.
Steer clear of this company!

Buyer Beware! 5 months later and still no magazines!

I ordered 3 magazines on July 1,2006. When I didn't receive any issues by the end of September I contacted customer service. First there was a delay, next a back up with the magazine publishers, and then a processing error. I then decided to directly contact the magazines and found out that they never received any orders for me from Magsforless.
Seems like a scam. I can almost understand a mistake with one magazine but all three??? I had also ordered a magazine through Net Magazines on the same day and I am experiencing the same problems with them!

Stay away from them AT ALL COSTS. They will take your money but you'll get NOTHING! I ordered 3 magazine 4 months ago and have not received anything. They don't answer phone calls or emails. I threatened to report them to the BBB, FTC and attorney general. Supposedly they're refunding my money but I'm not holding my breath. What bothers me is that they're still up and running and scamming more people.

I had the same experience as most everyone else that has posted one-star reviews here. Six months have passed and I have received nothing, even after several emails. If this company has any assets, this might be the time for a class action suit.

Crooks. I ordered 5 Magazine Subscriptions and Meagan claimed that they were on Back order. She has said this for the last 6 months. When I asked about their money back guarantee, I was told I had 30 days from the purchase date. Well if I was told to wait 6-8weeks for my first issue to arrive, this money back guarantee would never apply to anyone. Save a few bucks and go with a reputable company. Never trust these people. I have spent too much time battling this one.

Scam of a company! Do not give them your money!

Ordered magazine on 08/25/06. They took my money on 08/29/06. Never received one issue of the magazine. Very difficult to contact. Received a couple emails early on from Andrew Melville, VP of Customer Service ensuring that my concerns were fully addressed.
From the information from and other review from 06/2006 on this site, I have filed reports with bbb.org, ftc.gov and fraud.org. I am still trying to get my money refunded!
Maybe if everyone files these complaints we can get them put out of business for ripping everyone off! Should have known it was too good of a deal to be true!
