Damage to my bathroom - exploded sink - No replacement or service help - BEWARE! by bostonbound ,May 31 '08
I purchased a wall mount nice glass integrated sink and wood vanity for my master bathroom. After having it installed for about 2 months the glass exploded all over my bathroom one evening - THANKFULLY we were not home at the time.
We contacted the service office at Modern Bathroom - they told us that we were outside of the warranty or return window for this item as almost three months had passed since we purchased. NO RETURN - NO REPLACEMENT - NO SINK.
We were so upset - we were out $800 - had major sheet rock damage, vanity damage, thousands of pieces of glass all over the bathroom AND this is a custom size sink that you just cannot "find" anywhere.
ON TOP of all of this, the vanity was almost 2 weeks LATER then they promised delivery - mounting hardware was missing from the box and it had only Chinese writing on the installation instructions with stick diagrams - VERY difficult to assemble and install.
ANYWAY - BEWARE of this company. Buy somewhere else!

I ordered over $10,000 in vanities and sinks for my new home. The products were received about 5 months after the original shipment date after they sent the wrong products so I had to pay to ship back they were cheap and damaged products. They charge Designer high-end prices but you are paying for cheaply made merchandise.
“Customer Service” never answers the phone,
the “Verification Seal” they have says they are NOT VERIFIED!
The Better Business Bureau Seal DOES NOT VERIFY THEM!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, they con artists and their products are cheap!
I was able to locate the items I needed quickly and easily. The items were also an excellant buy and a good price. Read more

I placed my order online and received no confirmation number or e-mai...after two weeks I was able to find an order number on line and contacted them. Was informed that item was back orderd and they could not find out when I could expect it until tomorrow...no one informed me that my order was actually placed or about the back order. I need this item now for a building project and my contractor expected me to have this ready for him...unaceptable service!! Read more

I probably will shop here again however, I was not happy that I had to pay unexpected high fees for returning the sink. I will be more aware next time. When you order an item like this online, it's not 100% certain it will work or the color is right. The color was not exactly right on the sink. Returning items like these is a turn-off for online buying. Read more
