Their Website was easy to use, the item arrived in a week. Unfortunately the Seagrass rug I received didn't even come close to meeting my expectations or their glowing reviews. It is poorly made, there is a six inch difference on the long sides and the binding is too tight causing the rug to buckle terribly and not lie flat. It looks awful and cannot be returned as it was a sale item. Their customer service has not responded to my inquiry as to how I can get the rug to lie flat. I will have to replace this rug and will now purchase locally.

I ordered a 9'x12' sisal rug on Sunday and it was delivered on Thursday. The rug came well packaged and I could not be happier with the product. The quality is much better that you find at Pottery Barn or Crate+Barrel. I plan on shopping here again. A++++

We had a miserable experience with Natural Area Rugs.  The masthead of the website trumpets its "risk-free" 30-day return policy, paid shipping and all.  So we bought what seemed to be a standard rug from the site, only to discover after receiving it that in the fine print, it states that we had bought a "custom-made, no return" rug.  Like the worst used car salesman, the site deliberately misleads -- it has a "custom order" part of the site, but we ordered from the standard menu without making any custom demands.  When I called customer service to address my concern, the best they could do was to give me a small discount on my NEXT purchase.  They stuck us with a $265 rug we don't want.  Would never order from this company again.

This co has several websites under different names. I even found them selling on Ebay,under a persons name,but linked to their store. I had Found a wool rug i wanted and tried to place an order through their 1-800#. The lady said sorry but they were all sold out. So i Googled the exact name of the rug and found same rug on many web pages under different company names. I then found same rug on Ebay so i placed a bid and won. Three days later they wrote and said sorry don't have any but we will offer you this other rug(red). I wrote back and said no it was not the color i wanted. I told them if they were out then they needed to remove it from Ebay as that i had seen a new action for same rug. So far I have received no refund and no response from them.
My advice check really good before buying anything from this company, i think they are a scam outfit! Ye Ole bait and switch.
