I ordered a few items from Northern. Their catalog really has just about everything. I received said catalog with my online order. After flipping through the catalog I saw that a few of my items were listed cheaper than what I had a paid. All it took was an email and Northern refunded the difference back to my card. Ordered Fan at North Houston store. Applied for Credit Card - 10% discount. Recieved fan OK - fan speeds LOUD and EXTRA LOUD. Took fan back to Gulf Freeway store - exchange for smaller quieter, more expensive fan CHARGED $$$$ 20.00 RESTOCKING FEE.

I got myself the Northern tool 42 CC brushcutter from Northerntooluk.com. Within months the fan blades around the drive shaft started braking off at full speed during operation, very scary! I send the brushcutter back to Northerntooluk.com only to be told that this is not a warranty issue and I therefore don't get a refund. If internally braking engine parts are not a warranty issue for Northern Tools, what is? in my opinion this machine is dangerous as the driveshaft is spinning at thousands of rpm's and the braking fan blades could shoot anywhere, Northern Tool should recall the Northern tool 42 CC brushcutter immediately, but instead they fob me off. Northerntooluk.com have some nice products on the website but the Northerntool 42cc Brushcutter isn't one of them and customer service is a joke.
After 2 weeks and after i call 2 times i receive information that the product was discontinued, but they charge my credit card on the day that i put the order. Read more

This is the first time that I have had a problem with any of the products I have purchased from Northern Tool. The first parts washer arrived damaged with the lid dented and broken. I had no problems with the return and a replacement being sent out...however...the second parts washer arrived with damage to it's lid too. But at least the lid on this one wasn't as bad so I kept it since I needed to use it and couldn't wait for another replacement. I should have contacted Northern Tool on seeing it they would at least allow me a discount on the second damaged parts washer but I didn't. Since this is the only time I have had a problem with an item from Northern, I will probably continue to shop there. Thank you! Roy Horning Read more

I would shop here again, only if my order is not duplicated. I received 2 of the same thing and was charged double for it. I know that I did not order 2, but got two. We were not going to go to the bother of boxing it up and paying to send it back. So, we kept it. I don't know what the problem was, but like I said, I did not order 2 and if I was ordering 2, I would have ordered on the same order. Did not appreciate this at all.
