valentine's day shopping

i gave these guys a try after reading a piece about them in the new york times. the chocolates and flowers came without a hitch, and they seem to be as good or better than non-organic ones. it really wasnt that expensive at all, the price was about the same. i would highly recommend the lavender caramels.

Chose a Mothers Day Special on-line,
got a confirmation, paid extra for Saturday delivery, the flowers never arrived, checked status on-line it said they were back-ordered.
If they could not make the delivery why did they not send an email?
I place the order in plenty of time to change to pro-flowers or anyone else, wanted to go with them because of the Green ECO rating.
When I try to talk to Customer non-service they do not pick up the phone or answer voice or email requests.

My mother was very hurt by the inference I forgot about her.

Got what I bought on time and exactly the number that I had asked for.

The quality of the roses were not as good as I expected, and definitely not as nice as those in the sample photos.

They turned up looking like worn out buds, rather than roses. But following the instructions on care, they did start to open up and rejuvenate (at least 90% of the flowers) within the stated 12 - 18 hours.

I would have thought the quality would be better especially since I paid a pretty high amount for them. But they did smell a lot nicer than the standard store bought roses.

Did not have to deal with their support for this order.

Last week, I placed an order for a Wine Grape Bonsai and Snow Leopard Trust Roses one day before my mother's birthday--not knowing whether they would arrive on time or not, given the last-minute order. They did, and my mom was ecstatic about the longevity and quality of the roses as well as the innovative (and environmentally friendly) packaging. I will place another order in the future, as this company put a great impression on me.

I ordered Mother's Day flowers from this site hoping to surprise my mom at work. I thought it would be a good deed getting organic flowers as well as a great way to start Mother's Day weekend for my mom. Boy, was I wrong. The order didn't arrive when promised. (They didn't even ship the flowers until the evening of the day they were supposed to be delivered!) I know it's a busy holiday for flower companies, but I have NEVER had this problem with other companies. I've ordered flowers for Mother's Day, Sweetest Day, Valentine's Day, and almost every other holiday you can think of. This is the first time I've ever had a delivery problem. That, hopefully, will be the last, too! Also, after calling the company twice and leaving messages twice and emailing them with complaints, they never responded. Customer service is low on the priority list for them, obviously.

Beautiful flowers, but BAD customer service and poor quality as far as making sure the right card is with the right set of flowers. I would recommend calling them a few days before they ship the flowers to make sure they actually enclose the correct card to the correct recipient. This happened to me, and caused the recipient much stress. Organic Bouquet did not return her calls timely and were very rude and not understanding at all.
