The item was shipped in good timing, only problem that I ran into was a few days after I completed the purchase online, a salesperson called me with a warranty upgrade, which I accepted for $99, gave a credit card number, etc, then was called back by another salesperson wanting to give me the same upgrade for $129, and I told her that I already had purchased it for $99...she went and confirmed it but had to have my credit card number again because she claimed the first person didn't take it. I watched my credit card afterward and was billed the correct amount though.

I ordered a high ticket item from Joseph. A EOS 1D Mark II. Because I have bought several cameras from these outfits in New York, I was aware that they would try to sell me non-OEM stuff and a warranty. I knew which questions to ask, and they understood. Overall I think that priceritephoto.com is a great place to get a good deal on equipment if you know what to be aware of. I would do business with them again, anyday.

I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 5700. After some initial confusion about whether the product was US goods or gray goods and their insistence on purchasing an accessory pack in order to guarantee the US goods, the camera was delivered on time and in accordance with the order. They were accommodating in regards to putting the order on two different credit cards. I new the competitive prices of the accessories they wanted to sell me, and I was going to purchase them anyway, so I did not mind buying them from Price Rite Photo. I don't blame them for trying to make sales. I suppose I would purchase again from them. Just make sure you know what you want and the price you want to pay. Don't be bullied into buying anything you do not want to buy.

I ordered a Sony Cybershot DSC F828 Digital Camera package. I received a great price with all the accessories that they advertised in the package. I ordered on Monday July 4th which was a holiday. I received a confirmation via e-mail that they received it. I received a phone call indicating that they sent it. I was even given a FED-EX tracking number to track my order. It arrived on Thursday evening as promised. I was extremely satisfied with PRICE RITE PHOTO. They are located in New York, I am located in California and they shipped it coast to coast without any problems what so ever. I will definitely shop with them again.

BUY ELSEWHERE! PriceRite Photo sent me a broken camera, included the wrong size lenses and filters, and never sent one of my accessories. When I spoke to their "customer service" department, they gave me the run around and claimed that the damage must be my fault, because it couldn't be theirs. They REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR RETURN POLICY, and would not pay shipping to return the incorrect lenses and filters that they sent me. They promised to ship the missing accessory, but I never received it (it's been 8 weeks now). I now have to pay Canon to fix a camera that I received broken. Their prices may entice you, but it's not worth it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - pay a little extra to buy from a reputable company rather than dealing with empty promises.

Last week I bought a Panasonic PV-GS400 from them. I received it within a few days in excellent condition, well packaged. I was impressed with the speed of delivery. Customer service was excellent. They were always on top and quick to respond when I had some questions and queries.
