Wow, I'm surprised to see the two previous posts - I've bought things on several occasions from scuba.com and have been impressed with their breadth of products, low prices, prompt delivery, and responsiveness.
I paid for expedited shipping. They shipped to wrong address costing me precious time and an additional $32+ to overnight to correct address. Scuba.com was unresponsive to my request to pay the overnight costs to correct their (admitted) mistake. Their customer service was rude and unbending. They also were flippant when I requested an escalation point. The customer service "manager" said she worked for "me, myself, and I".
They did not meet their "100% CUSTOMER SAT" commitment and I would not recommend purchasing from them.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with an online merchant. They charged my credit card and then notified me that the item I ordered wasn't actually in stock and that I had to pick a similarly priced item. After I chose one, they wouldn't get it to me for 2 1/2 weeks, which was well after the date I had entered to say that I needed it by. Customer service hung up on me when I called them, and they still charged my card after the order was canceled.

This is my second order with scuba.com and they have the very wide selection with most of the items in stock and also have very good prices. The last order was delivered on time without any problems and I think they are the best online scuba retailer. They have free shipping on lot of items. They also allow online order tracking and accept Google checkout which I used to get an extra $10 discount from Google.
Be careful in dealing with scuba.com/diversdiscount.com. They sold me a mask that based on their webpage description should have fit, but when I received the mask was too small. They told me that I would have to pay a 25% charge to return it. The representative on the phone was not pleasant to deal with. He talked down to me and was arrogant. Luckily I found a dive shop near where I live and dealt with them with good results. Scuba.com/diversdiscount.com was a bad experience. Also they have less in stock than what their web page says.

Was excited about buying in scuba.com becuase their good web page unfortunately they shipped the wrong product to me and it has been a difficult process to get the right product. What is really sad is that once you receive the order if it is incomplete or does not corresponds to what you order then it becomes your problem, not scuba.com. You will have to pay the packaging and shipping to return the product and then they will refund it, this is a clear example of a company that thinks first of them and then the customers so be aware if you decide to buy from them. As a last suggestion write down all the names of the people you talk to, and ask them to send you e-mails because they tend to either "forget" or is not on "record". Very bad experience with them with lots of energy and time for something that was totally their fault.

I was very please with my purchase! It was delivered very quickly and I was, as always, satisfied with Scuba.com! I would never hesitate to recommend scuba.com to my friends. As I look through all the products you sell and compare them to other stores, I am amazed at the price difference, I will make all my purchases here now (with the exception of a mask, as it is best to try before you buy.
Ordered a wetsuit over phone, thought could have done it all online, as different manufacturers sizes aren't alsways the same. Was asked a couple of questions about my size and usage, and was informed of good choices in my price range. Received it quickly and it fit perfectly. I have ordered several items from Scuba.com. Two rash guard T shirts,neither of which were the right size (even though ordered using sizing chart). Those were returned for refund. The camera housing was ordered, but continued to receive delivery delay notices. Final notice was for delivery after I leave for Hawaii. Cancelled the order and ordered from Adorama and item was shipped the next day. Not sure I will order anything else from Scuba.com. Read more

My fins and spring straps had to be returned because they did not fit. The refund was very prompted, but the shipping and return cost were not refunded. So I payed $20.00 for products that I don't have. At that price I could have shopped localy and got the product for the same price. No savings shopping on liner. Read more

SCUBA.com has the best website of all the dive equipment sites availible. I am looking for a surface float and O2 aanalyser, that I wish they carried. There prices are far better than the competion. SCUBA.com is my first choice when buying scuba equipment.

Hi! You should put a better explanation of free delivery time. Because I had about a week and a half before I left for my trip, I had to use express delivery, which cost me an extra $11. It was just too close to take the risk of the 10-14 day delivery your shipping instructions said. Last time I ordered something from y'all with regular delivery, it got here in 3-4 days. A lot of people have charts of the US that show more accurately the expected shipping time, based on their location. You should use one of those. Read more

I understand things happen and sometimes there are delays. Some of the products ordered were not in stock, but they do not list if an item is in stock or not on the web site. I found this out only AFTER I placed my order and they had charged me for it. Two items were on back-order. Of the two, I have received one (finally), but the did not provide the shipping I had paid for. I have contacted customer service about these issues and even had an argument with them about what is important to a customer!!! Last time I checked the customer was me, so there should be no argument here AT ALL! They said it wasn't important to let customers know if an item was in stock or not at the time of purchase, and if a customer wanted to know that information they should call. Bottom line: If you can find the item(s) you're looking for elsewhere, please do so and save yourself the time and trouble. I have found another site that has about the same selection and they do list whether or not the item is in stock. I would provide the name, but not sure if it's allowed... don't want to appear to be advertising for anyone (though that is basically what this is about).
