I had a great experiance with softwaremedia.com. They were very fast and they had a great price. It was really easy and I got the product I wanted.

seem professional, but the macromedia software i bought turned out to be pirated ... and the other product i bought was advertised as full retail, but just got what appeared to be a used cd ...
do not shop there if you dont want pirated software ...

Easily found the software I needed. The description was clear and sufficient for me to understand my purchase. The website was well designed, allowing me to do some unexpected browsing, as well.

Potential fraud alert!! This is a company that engages in bait and switch tactics. They're clever enough to cover their tracks with what appears to be courteous customer service. But they'll make you jump through multiple hoops in order to stall you so the 30-day window expires on their satisfaction guarantee. Or they'll turn the hammer on you by pointing out that opened software can not be returned for any reason. Would not surprise me if their employees were posing as phony customers in order to write positive reviews for this forum, or if they were to respond to this review by claiming that I was an "uncooperative" customer.

Bait and Switch! Please read this, and other reviews on other ratings sites, and see how many other people have claimed this. I ordered the Retail Box version of Windows Server 2003, and received a "media-only" copy of it, with a completely different Microsoft part #. Customer service is horrible, as they did not answer the phone during business hours (I tried 10 times). My emails were not returned. I eventually spoke with David, who advised me I needed to buy additional licensing. Next, I spoke with Todd, and after "searching their warehouse" for a retail box copy, they finally found it. We will see if it shows up...and what foreign country it is from. Be careful of copies, opened packages, and bait and switch from this site!

This is the worst service I have ever had with any online merchant. First of all this company sent me the wrong
product, which was missing some of the contents of the package as described on their website. I had to pay for
the package to be sent back to the company. After speaking to one of the managers he informed me that he will be putting another version of what I ordered into the mail ASAP (This was March 17th) and that I should be receiving it no later than 2 to 3 business days. This was last Friday. It has been over a week and I just found out from FedEx(March 25th) one week after the second purchase that it will not be arriving until Monday. I am very disappointed with the experience I have had with this company. I will NEVER EVER do business with them again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Also I will be reporting this matter to the Better Business Bureau, for the poor service and misleading information.

Ordered Windows XP Pro Non-EOM (Full retail version).  I didn't find this on many other sites.  On SoftwareMedia.com, it was easy to find, easy to order/checkout, and the order arrived promptly.  Nothing special but no surprises either!  I would shop there again.

Overall I am satisfied with my order from Softwaremedia.com and would do business with them in the future. Prices for MS Office were less expensive than other places on the internet. The order process was fast and simple and shipping was satisfactory. My order was made 3/4/2008 in the evening so it processed the next day and the product was in my city on 3/7/2008 however it was not actually delivered till 3/10 (partly because of the weekend but Im not sure why it could not have been delivered on 3/7...the Fedex info said on truck not scheduled for delivery and I paid for 2-3day service..just an FYI).

After searching on Shopping.com for the software I needed, I selected SoftwareMedia.com from the vendors provided, based on their price. When I accessed SoftwareMedia.com, I found a very informative site, with a large selection of products. Their ordering process was simple, and they provided confirmation and follow up status including shipment tracking number. One negative I'd like to bring attention to was an inability to select the on-screen tracking number and redirect to the FedEx site to track the shipment. The order was shipped that same day and delivered on time.

Overall, it was an excellent shopping experience.

I was able to find the software I needed (not the current version) at a reasonable price. I also had a good customer service experience when i asked a question. It was easy to track my order via the Fed Ex web site too.

I ordered my software on Tuesday and it was hear by Friday. Great service, no problems with the software. The price for Office 2003 was better than anywhere else I found. I received email confirmations for both when my order was placed and when it was shipped. I would highly recommend Softwaremedia to anyone looking for software at a great price! I know I will be using them again.
