I recently purchases a "New" moto q from sqaretrade off of ebay and i was sent a dead battery, I contacted Sqaure trade and the gentelmen said that warrantey, I purchased does not cover batteries, he said for me to go out and buy a new battery, and that fine that the warranty does not cover batteries, but why should i go out and buy a new battery, when the one they sent me was faulty from the start, after all it was supposed to be a new phone!!!!!

Really great to know that I can get a used/refurbished/new product at eBay and not regret the decision 4 months later. My recent experience with Square Trade involved a Hewlett--Packard digital camera that was bought on eBay brand new. The zoom lens malfunctioned and I sent it to Square Trade, per their request, as they evaluate the item for misuse or abuse. They gave me a full refund for the money I paid, less shipping charges and this was all accomplished inside a week.

I won't buy electronics without their warranty. I bought another digital camera this time with the refund money and also another warranty. Their warranties are so inexpensive that it's certainly not worth going without it.

I absolutely would recommend this service to anyone who buys auction electronics. As I understand, they cover other electronics purchases as well.

I have never dealt with a warranty company that was this dedicated to customer service. They handled my claim promptly and courteously. I would definitely do business with them again.

Each step took longer than expected or that Square Trade indicated it would. The packaging took over an extra week to arrive. I received an email that seemed to indicate that my item was being repaired. After twice the indicated time had passed I had to inquire to find out what was happening.

Customer Service was excellent once contacted they settled my claim for the full amount. No shipping costs were deducted, I guess as partial compensation for all my waiting.

I have purchased several warranties from square trade, and recently had the chance to put their service to task. I had a Motorola RAZR that would not power up any more, and I filed a claim. I got an email shortly, made a short call, and shortly after got a shipping label to print out. Long story short, I shipped the phone back. They contacted me 2 days after it arrived that I would be refunded the full purchase price. A couple of days later I got the full amount refunded to my paypal account. It was an extremely easy, and quick process. I have several other products with square trade warranties, and I feel confident I did the right thing buying them. The price is also very economical. One last point, I took out a warranty on a product that I returned, and they issued me a refund, in 2 days, no questions asked. I highly recommend this service.

delivery was reasonable and quick, order information was accurate though would've appreciated it if the status of claim had been updated more frequently, customer service was unprecedented and very friendly. Overall, I am very satisfied with my warranty.

The SquareTrade warranty service is the best...I will add it to nearly everything I buy in the future. Especially electronics and Cell phones. The purchase process is the easiest thing available anywhere, and the customer service is exceptional.

I only wish I had developed the concept they are offering..it is Ingenious.

As for the very few complaints I have heard, you cannot expect a standard warranty program to cover dropping your computer or phone in water. Also, most warranty providers do not cover the item from the very day you purchased it...that is why it is an extended warranty. If you've had a problem in the first 30 or 60 days, the place of purchase or manufacturer should handle it.

Anything I purchase in the future that has a dollar value will have a Squaretrade warranty to go with it.

They handled the claim very quickly, but i felt that they should have replaced the item and not just refunded the money. They would not replace the item and only offered a refund, minus the shipping charges that came out of the refund. I do think that they did a good job processing the claim and getting me my money however, they should offer to replace the damaged item. My Ipod would not work properly but instead of replacing my Ipod or giving me another Ipod they merely offered to give me my money back. They sent a UPS label but later billed me for it, so that was taken out of my refund which i don't think it should have been.

We purchased a used laptop on Ebay, and I decided to also purchase the Square Deal which was offered from the seller. What a good idea we did. The laptop stopped working after only 8 months! We called Square Deal, and first we tried to fix it the way they told us to. After that didn't work, we called back. They told us how to ship it to them, sent us a packing slip, and our refund arrived less than a week later. It was the easiest refund we have every experienced!

I am very satisfy with the hassle free warranty service that Squaretrade provides. I have purchased at least 10 different warranties through SquareTrade over the past 5 years. I have had to return two different video cameras because they malfunction. I have not had any problem with returning any item for a refund of the cost that I originally paid for. The customer service people were very helpful in processing my claims. I highly suggest getting warranties for all of your electronic devices.

My experience with Square Trade very disappointing. They facilitated an agreement with Remote Superstore to refund my purchase price for a product that the online seller described as "new" when it was obviously used. I returned the item at my expense to Remote Superstore. Square Trade removed the negative feedback from eBay but I did not get the refund. Square Trade indicated that I would have to go to court to collect the refund. Remote Superstore ended up with my money, the product and my comments removed from eBay. Square Trade was counterproductive in the transaction.

I normally don't purchase extended warranties on electronics, but since I was buying a used PC (Dell C-600 Notebook), I thought I might give it a try.  At $16.99, the price was very reasonable, so I really couldn't go wrong. 

Recently I experienced a power cord connector problem, which I had fixed, and Square Trade covered the entire cost of the Repairs (up to the cost of the Actual Item Purchased).

I highly recommend them to anyone considering a future electronics purchase!

I found SquareTrade after a bad experience with the warranty program at an online retailer.  Their purchase process was clear and straightforward, the claim process was quick and efficient, the value was better than anywhere else I found, and they were easy to work with.  I will recommend SquareTrade to all of my friends and relatives as the best place to buy a warranty.

I bought a warranty on a used car CD Changer that I bought through eBay.  I was required to buy the warranty within a month of buying the item on eBay.  The warranty went into effect a month after I boughtit.  After using the CD Changer for several months, it stopped working and wouldn't even eject the cartridge or anything.  I sent in a claim to SquareTrade over the Internet and they reviewed my claim and sent me a response by email within 24 hours.  They determined that they would just pay me the full purchase price upon inspection of the item.  I mailed the CD Changer to them and within 5 days SquareTrade had emailed me and refunded the full purchase price of the CD Changer.  I am completely satisfied with my experience with SquareTrade and look forward to working with them in the future.  The customer service was outstanding and response times were faster than I thought was possible.

I initially started using Square Trade with ebay purchases.  The process of insuring those items was efficient and provided a fair warranty for a good price.  I recently used Square Trade to provide warranty services for a pricey laptop that was purchased from a major retailer.  I was able to get the Square Trade warranty for 1/3 of what the retailer wanted to charge and the retailer's charge did not include coverage for accidental damage.

I recently had to file a claim for a Blackberry that would not transmit.  The process of filing the claim was extremely simple and quick, 2 minutes tops!  Square Trade communicated every step of the way, and my claim was honored and paid in less than 2 weeks. That 2 weeks included the time it took to ship the Blackberry to Square Trade.  I am thoroughly satisfied with Square Trade and will use them for all of my warranty services in the future.
