After purchasing a cell phone off Ebay I received an offer to purchase a warranty from Square Trade.  At first I just ignored the offer.  Then after a few days I decided that less than $12 for a year of coverage was probably well worth the peace of mind. The Warranty was very reasonably priced and easy to order.  After less than 3 months the cell phone began to have problems. Then it just quit working.  I contacted Square Trade.  SquareTrade emailed me a pre paid return postage label. Once they received the phone, they quickly assessed my claim.  Within just a few days, the full purchase price of the broken cell phone was refunded to my paypal account.  I will definitely purchase another warranty from Square Trade in the future!  This was one of those few times I actually feel I got more than I paid for.  Square Trade is a warranty company that actually stands behind the warranties they sell. Thank-you!

Perfect Insurance company! Very affordable and I am extremely pleased with service. Had problem with Blu Ray dvd player - got my money back withing a week. Very friendly personal.

I haven't purchased my warranty for my new laptop yet (only because it hasn't arrived from the retailer), but paying the amount Square Trade quoted is way below the warranty offered by the retailer by about 80% and the extended warranty coverage is identical. After reading all the Epinions, I have no fear about purchasing their product. I am also impressed that someone from Epinions takes the time to read the comments and remark on their contents. How often do we take the time to comment online, particularly to warn other consumers that we feel a product is inferior, and the retailer continues selling it? That means the opinions we give don't matter to that particular retailer.

This is a truely professional organization that offers and delivers a valued product / service.   I can not express the high level of satisfaction that I have with their customer Service.  They say what they mean and they mean what they say.  I am sure that I will be a SquareTrade customer for many years to come.

I contacted SquareTrade with a little apprehensiveness regarding my warranty coverage. I have been very disappointed with other warranty service I have received from other vendors. I am ABSOLUTELY pleased, happy, and impressed with the service I received. I delayed buying other warranties from SquareTrade so I could see how they handled my claim. It was handled quickly and to my COMPLETE satisfaction. I have purchased additional warranties from this company, and certainly will purchase additional warranties without concern in the future. If this company can continue this level of service, they will become the LEADER of aftermarket warranties. A++++++!

I purchased a warranty for an item purchased on Ebay.  The Ebay item was new, but did not have an existing manufacturers warranty.  That is why I purchased a Squaretrade warranty.  I paid for it, and my warranty status said approved.  I thought all was well.  I later found out that my warranty was no good, due to the product categorization on Ebay (should have been classified as used in order for Squaretrade to price the contract amount and term correctly).  Per the terms and conditions, Squaretrade can either choose to change the term of the contract, or refund your money.  Since they only cover used items for up to 2 years, most people would not know they are not covered for years 3+.  Their obligation is only to refund your money at this point.  My question is WHY DOESN'T SQUARETRADE AUDIT THESE WARRANTIES BEFORE PUTTING THEM IN AN APPROVED STATUS????  This is a horrible business practice.  ANYONE BUYING A SQUARETRADE WARRANTY FOR AN EBAY ITEM BETTER CHECK INTO THEIR COVERAGE BEFORE THE 60 DAY REFUND PERIOD IS UP.

I've never purchased an after market warranty of any kind before. I purchased a used, non-warranted HDTV on eBay and decided to buy the warranty that was offered. Frankly, I was mostly attracted by the low Square-Trade price but it was a great decision. In the forth month of use the TV failed.

Without the Square-Trade warranty I would have been out the repair expense. I could not have asked for a quicker response or better claim service. My claim was approved, then paid in just four days!

A great experience. I'll always purchase Square-Trade warranties for my future purchases.

I Recently had a problem with a tv I purchased and was so, glad I had purchased the square trade warrenty-There customer service is excellent They were quick with getting a return mailing label to me and excepted the return with no problems. They truley are a great company to work with and stand behind there warrenties! Thanks guys! LC

Although I hadn't dealt with Square Trade previously, last year when I purchased a pricey Italian espresso machine on eBay I decided to spring for a warranty...I figured too many mechanical things could go wrong with an appliance like that, and no doubt ANY level of service would be expensive.  The unit performed just as it should for several months, but recently I began having issues with it holding its pressure.  After determining that the malfunction wasn't going to heal itself, I contacted Square Trade and requested help getting the espresso maker serviced. To my surprise, the Square Trade staff determined that it couldn't be reliably serviced in the States, and refunded my full original purchase price!  It was unexpected but outstanding support.  I definitely recommend Square Trade for those higher-end purchases that might be more prone to failure and commend their warranty commitment follow-through.  Because of this positive experience, I will also be considering Square Trade warranties for other less-expensive purchases.

A year ago I bought a Digital Photo Frame and decided to cover it with a Square Trade warranty.   Recently, it just stopped working - dead.  So now I am thinking "Great, I have this Square Trade warranty".  After preparing myself for a huge hassle to get the item replaced, I was completely and pleasantly surprised when the claim processed without a hitch.  I was given a prepaid UPS shipping label to ship the item to Square Trade and a few days later I have my $$$! It is wonderful when people (or in this case a company) Say what they are going to do, and then DO WHAT THEY SAY!  and with NO FUNNY BUSINESS, Very Nice!
I wanted to point out specifically that the Clear and Proactive communication from Square Trade (emails and a graphic on their website), make a real difference.  You KNOW where you are in the Claim Process.
Bottom Line:  Square Trade is a Square Deal!!

A small price to pay for piece of mind and cheap insurance. When I filed a claim for my cell phone they were more than helpful with great communication and an easy to use online claim system.

Using SquareTrade was easy, i called in, after my phone broke due to a non-working USB port on the underside. The technician asked me a few questions and sent me to part of the site to fill out a few questions. I answered them in under 5 minutes. I sent my phone in a box, with a pre-paid label. They sent my paypal money in 3 days. It was a hassel free experience, and after using the phone for over a year, i only lost $30. GREAT INVESTMENT, USE IT!

It was very fast, courteous, service. I even made a mistake on filling out the claim and was denied payment. I made one quick to Square Trade and this mistake was taken care of in minutes. The gentle man I spoke to was fantastic. I recieved the shipping lable the same day. I claim was settled in a matter of days. I will contiue to use Sqaure Trade for all my Warranties. Thank You. I purchased a Square Trade warranty on a digital camera purchased on eBay. Almost a year later I had a problem with the camera, I sent it in and it was not repairable. Square Trade sent me a refund a few days later. Customer service was outstanding--kept me informed all the way through. I was very satisfied with Square Trade Inc. and will use them for any future purchases.
