Disappointed to discover that Square Trade would not honor the warranty I purchased on my Motorola cell phone because the phone was still under manufacturer's warranty.  True enough that the SqTr warranty contract excludes repairs or replacement covered by the manufacturer, but I could only see the contract AFTER I purchased the warranty, and I only discovered the exclusion when I submitted a warranty claim.  The only reason I purchased the Square Trade warranty is because I was expecting that the Square Trade warranty would save me from the labyrinthine process for submitting an item to Motorola for repair.

I recently used the warrenty on my UT Starcom phone. I found that the response was quick, fair and reasonable.

Excellent online service. I was hesitant to even consider purchasing a SquareTrade warranty when I bought my laptop on Ebay but I am glad I did. My laptop died recently and because I had a SquareTrade warranty, I was able to get a refund of my purchase price - minus the shipping cost of the laptop to SquareTrade. The online service was quick, the call to customer service was professional and helpful and the eventual refund to my PayPal account was quick. I will be getting warranties with SquareTrade again. And the cost of the warranties are unbeatable. I would recommend you visit their website for further research but as for my first experience with SquareTrade, I would rate them excellent.

Square Trade Warranty services stood by their word, and the entire process was customer friendly, and they value their clientele, just by the way the entire return process was handled. i will definitely buy future warranties from them, as I can TRUST THEM, and that says a lot, especially in this day and age.

Talking to customer service was painless, sending me a prepaid UPS shipping label was good, and the speedy refund of my cost was absolutely great.

Having used a KitchenAid tilt-head stand mixer for an number of years before it wore out, I purchased another one, but larger.  Unfortunately, this latter one turned out to be a lemon.  Fortunately, I had purchased a three-year full warranty from SquareTrade because KitchenAid only provides a one-year warranty.  The new KitchenAid mixer failed after less than two years.  SquareTrade processed me claim and paid me the full purchase price of the mixer.  My only concern with SquareTrade was that, due to a technical problem, I had to submit my claim affidavit three times before it could be processed.  As a result of their problem, it took more than 10 business days to receive the payment.  This was, however, a minor inconvenience overall and I heartily recommend SquareTrade warranties.

I am so glad that I decided to purchase a square trade warranty! They refunded my whole purchase price, with no hassle at all!! Thank you square trade, I was beginning to give up on customer service!!

Three days after the manufacturer's warranty expired my CHINESE MADE Palm Lifedrive failed. Luckily I had bought the Squaretrade warranty and it was worth every penny.
It took only a few days to get all the money back for the cheaply made item and I was able to use the money to buy AMERICAN! If you are buying cheaply made and poorly quality controlled articles that are manufactured in China,(AS IF YOU COULD GET THEM MADE ANYWHERE ELSE NOWADAYS), Then you need to get a Squaretrade Warranty to protect yourself. I WILL BE USING THEM A LOT FROM NOW ON!

The experience i had with getting the warranty and then having to file a claim was excellent, everything was taken care of within 5 days, including getting my purchase price back, as they claim. I am very satisfied and will purchase another warranty with them. The over all transaction was rated in my eyes as a 5 star. Thank you Square Trade.

I purchased a Square Trade warranty after purchasing a television on ebay and within 18 months the television died. I contacted Square Trade and they were very exact in giving me the place in which to return the item. I return the item and within one week I received a refund for the television with backup emails. I call thatexcellent service. I then purchased another television and immediately bought another Square Trade warranty. Thank you Square Trade for making me feel there is once again an 'American' pride in doing business.

i'm going to depend on this kind of warranty for now on i cant believe it was so easy and customer service was well over what i expected 100%. i have my own car stereo club and for now on i require all members to use square trade for all their purchase i still cant believe my item was taken care of this fast why go somewhere else square trade has you covered thanks for all your help gargoyled1

I purchased a warranty on a Dell motherboard  that I acquired in an ebay auction. I was offered a Square Trade warranty on the item and since it was purchased to replace a similiar item that had failed I felt it was as good idea. The second board failed after three months and I immediately contacted Square Trade.
The level of service was astounding, I was contacted immediately by Square Trade to discuss the claim, it was determined that I should return the motherboard for a refund instead of replacement. I was emailed a UPS prepaid shipping label, I packaged the defective unit and sent it back.
In five days my claim was determined to be valid and one day later I
had my warranty refund in my Paypal acount.
I had already purchased a replacement Dell motherboard on ebay again and have purchased a Square Trade warranty on that one.
I am totally pleased with the speed and level of service provided by Square Trade and strongly recommend  anyone who shops on ebay to cover themselves with one of their warranties.

I cover all of my electronics purchases at Square Trade with the exception of my cell phone (comes with a 1 year warranty and I get another year thru AMEX after which it is time to replace it). I had a portable handset for my cordless phone system that failed after 7 months. They reimbursed me for the purchase less a nominal processing fee. Otherwise, I would have been out the full purchase price. For the cost, I recommend this as long as you plan to keep the product beyond the warranty period (and the extended credit card coverage, if any).
