I have purchased several SquareTrade warranties previously for used items I bought on eBay.  One was for a used PC motherboard going into a PC I helped a friend put together.  While he got @ 7 months of trouble-free life out of it - one day the PC simply would not start up - nothing.

After a component by component removal & testing - it was determined that the MoBo itself was not working.  So I filed my first [hopefully last ;-) ] SquareTrade claim - the process was easy - within a day my claim process had been accepted - and I was sent a UPS return shipping label by e-mail to attach to the package.  I received another e-mail when the package was received - another when my refund was authorized - and finally another when my PayPal account was credited...It was probably 1 1/2 weeks from when the MoBo initially failed to my PayPal getting credited...I've had rebate checks take 4-5 months to arrive - the SquareTrade claim process really is easy and painless!

I bought another motherboard for my friend's PC off eBay - and for sure I got another SquareTrade warranty to go along with it!

Squaretrade was great. My claim was handled quickly and efficiently. I got my warranty reimbursement fast. I was afraid that Squaretrade would find some reason not to pay my claim, but they were extremely professional. Now I wish that all of my eBay purchases offered Squaretrade warranties.

Square Trade is great in many ways. It is easy, fast, priced well and is terrific if a claim is necessary. The main thing I like is the way all of my warranties are organized online. Keeping tract of store bought warranties is near impossible. If you lose your paperwork you may have lost your warranty.

I was skeptical when I first bought Square trade warrany, since I hadn't heard of them before, but it was inexpensive enough to try. Eight months later my camera stopped working. I dug up my warranty, sent my camera in, and refunded my purchase price right into my pay pal account! It was easy! The reps were nice, and it took no time at all.I recommend this highly!!

The thing about insurance or a warranty is that you purchase it, hoping never to have to use it. That, unfortunately, was not the case for us with a digital camera we bought as a refurbished item on eBay. It worked great for a year, and then the lens mechanism jammed. After a couple of calls with Square Trade, they accepted the claim, and reimbursed us the original purchase price. Once they approved the claim, payment was quick on PayPal. Of course, a year later with the technology improving and price dropping, there were more options for the original amount of money We took the funds and bought a new digital camera, and are back taking photos :)

SquareTrade was speedy,professional and very concerned about my problem. After I told the customer service rep the problem,he told me I was entitled to a full refund upon receiving the defective product. I was emailed a shipping label. They emailed me upon receipt of my product. Less than 6 hours later,they notified me that my refund was approved and provided a link to claim it. In 3 days,my refund was in my bank account. I have since bought the same item and purchased another SquareTrade warranty to cover it. I HIGHLY recommend SquareTrade to anyone. You have peace of mind with their product. There is no trying to "hoo-doo" or slick talk you into accepting a "refurb" of the same item or any other kind deceptive practices. You just call customer service,and they will take full care of you. They are the most easy of all warranty products I have ever dealt with. I wished they offered auto warranties.
Also,once you are a customer,you receive offers to cover future (and recent prior) purchases. They even give you a special discount for being a current customer. I feel live "family" with SquareTrade.

I purchased a cellular phone on Ebay. I also took advantage of the offer to buy a two-year SquareTrade extended warranty. Two months later my phone stopped working. I called SquareTrade and after few questions I was asked to send in the phone. Three days later the money I paid for the phone was in my Paypal account. This is by far the fastest an easiest claim I have ever done. Hope they are not going to increase what they charge; it is a steal. Also I hope they will add more items to the list of the items they cover.

What a great deal! Easy to purchase this warranty. When I needed assistance, they gave simple instructions and emailed status updates. I got my refund in just a few days without hassle. Highly recommended!

I am in awe of my service! Every step of the claim was handled quickly and efficiently. The best way I can show that I mean this company is the best idea in warranties (too bad you don't do car warranties) is by telling everyone who will listen. Which is exactly what I have done.

I bought a Nintendo DS for an 11 year old. And yes, it got broke. Squaretrade sent it to the repair center for evaluation. I was deemed not repairable and I received a full purchase price refund in 4 days.
I will definately buy from them again.

I purchased a warranty last summer on a laptop for my daughter. When the laptop failed, I called SquareTrade. They said they would refund my purchase price for the failure of the computer. That same day, I received my label to ship back the unit. Within one week, I received my refund. I am very pleased with the swiftness of my claim and I already purchased another warranty on another computer I purchased with my refund.

This is the best deal. I bought the extended warranty on an Item I bought from e-bay. When the item went bad they took care of everything. They are very helpful and really care about their consumers.

At this time I am very pleased with Square Trade Inc. They helped me prevent feeling like (and having my wife believe that) my eBay purchase of a used electronic item was very stupid. There was some delay in getting my payment from Square Trade into my Pay Pal account but now all is well. I will probably be contacting Square Trade in future regarding other similar Purchases.
