Target is Incompetent!

This year was my first time experience of shopping on line at Target.
I placed my Christmas order the end of November and waited and waited and waited. Upon tracking my order and finding it had not shipped, I became concerned and contacted the company. I received an email that said my order would ship between January 11-29 of 2007. Becoming frantic, I contacted Target again to let them know that this was a CHRISTMAS GIFT and January would be TOO LATE! A company spokesman reassured me there was a mistake and my order would be on time for Christmas.
Well guess what? Come Christmas morning I had NO gift for my loved one! I am still waiting! Maybe if I am lucky, I will receive in time for Valentines Day and make it as a Valentines Day gift instead.
Target will not be getting my business ever again after this horrible nightmare experience.

I HATE TARGET!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I ordered 2 items from target.com and was sent one correct item and one wrong item. the wrong item was more expensive than the original item I ordered. No one apologized, no one offered a solution instead I have to return via mail (was not able to return it instore even though it was an unopened CD with the rec't within 2 days of receiving the item)
Very misleading return policy, customer service reps rude and unhelpful. Long story overall, but I have been fighting with Target since July 16th.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney General's Office. Both are in agreement with me and I am currently awaiting feedback from Target. No matter the outcome Target has lost a longtime customer over $22.00

Every time I have ordered through Target, it's been a pretty good experience. The order comes roughly on time. And you are able to track packages when signing into your acct. Free shipping is offered on certain items, which is nice when the store doesn't have it in stock or is only offered online. I haven't had the opportunity to interact with customer service because the orders are done efficiently. In my opinion, a trustworthy website thus far.

Bait and Switch!!

Target.com cancelled my order two days after they accepted it because they claim my "coupon codes" should have never been accepted by the system, so they could not offer the product at the price they charged me.
Bottom line, as I see it, they didn't expect people to take advantage of this offer in the numbers that they did, so they pulled the plug.
Very rude, and unacceptable in my opinion. When the system accepts my order, and mails me a confirmation, they have committed to processing the order.
I will go to Wal-Mart, and Costco, Target is off my list.

My daughter enrolled in their "Baby Registry" program for her first child. She received duplicates of gifts she had selected because of Target's inability to post timely registry purchases. Then, when we tried to exchange those duplicate gifts, the store manager told us it is Target's policy NOT to exchange, refund, or even put the credit on a store gift card!!! They would need the receipt, or the credit card from the giver--like that's NOT rude!!!
It's soooooo EZ 2 exchange items purchased from Wal-mart--we will ONLY use Wal-mart in the future!!! We haven't had ANY trouble, or problems getting Wal-mart to refund items purchased there.

Horrible shipping!!

I was very disappointed with the shipping of a crib set that I recently ordered. In fact, I ended up cancelling the order after 7 calls to customer service. I was told that there is no such thing as putting a "rush" on shipping (that was my 6th call) & that no one in customer service had communication with the shipping department. I am now bidding on the same bedding set on ebay. Wal Mart, on the other hand, had VERY quick shipping of the crib & changing table that I ordered. Both are great quality, less expensive, AND got here 4-5 days before their scheduled delivery date. I told the Target customer service people that if I had it to do over, I would not take my business to Target.com.

Honestly compared to other major department stores, like Nordstorms, I can't say Target is not up there. It's not amazing, but if I were to be asked to either shop at Wallmart, or Target, who do you think I would choose? Wallmart, No silly, Target. Great value, ease of clean stores, easy navigation, friendly workers for the most part, and unlike Wallmart, a bit more educated.

For years I was a loyal Target shopper. No more!! I purchased a $100 microwave just a few months ago, the 90-day store return policy expired 2 weeks ago and I discovered yesterday that the microwave has a big crack inside.
They refuse to exchange it for the same model (which they still carry) and transfer after transfer after transfer I was told they just 'sell' the merchandise, after 90-days they are no longer responsible for it!!

I have been very pleased and pleasantly surprised with the online purchases I have made at Target.com. The variety offered surprised me, and the service they offer turned out to be great! For example, The IPod I ordered as a Christmas gift was sold out everywhere, and somehow Target.com found one for me. I was able to talk to an individual directly who tracked it every step of the way until it came to my door on Christmas Eve. That impressive customer service has turned me into a loyal online customer!

Purchased a Daewoo Plasma Monitor (DP-42SM) and wall mounting unit for the monitor.
Product arrived as promised, although delivery time did vary from the original shipping time listed on target.com.
Free shipping was promised, but a $120 shipping charge was added to the order. When I called to complain, I was told the charge was for "white glove" delivery, with professional installation. I did not receive the professional installation, so Target refunded the charges.

A friend of mine sent me a $20 gift card to Target. We don't have one in my area, so i went online and the first thing i found was my cat fountain. Unfortunately, it was over $20, and i didn't have the cash to kick in the rest, so i had to wait. Before i could come up with the rest, she goes and sends me ANOTHER $20 gift card! So, i quick like a bunny get online and order the thing and lo and behold, it was at my doorstep within TWO days. TWO DAYS! i didn't even use express shipping or anything!.

I bought a couple of items on Target.com for my Brother-In-Law's wedding gift. The Wedding Registry was very easy to shop with. Both items (a blender and an indoor grill) were sent with Free shipping. They received the items in less than a week. Great on line Shopping experience!!!
