We ordered flowers from Tesco.com for our parents' seventieth anniversary. They arrived withered and virtually dead. I called customer service and they claimed this was due to freeze packing and that we should wait 24 hours for them to revive in water. The next day, there was no further sign of life. Tesco's customer service people were very hohum about it. They said they would replace, but not for 48 hours. We elected to get a refund. We will not buy from Tesco again!

Tesco direct did not have any contact details for a courier (they informed me over the telephone) who was delivering my new washing machine.
I e-mailed the on line customer services at Tesco to ask for courier details so that I could plan to be in A.M. or P.M. for the delivery driver/courier.
(I stated that I needed to know in the next 24 hours so that I could contact the courier before delivery.)
Tesco customer services e-mailed back after two days, when my washing machine was plumbed in!!!
I was initially suprised that they did not have courier details and then disapointed that they did not read my e-mail fully and sent the details too late to be of use.
