Fast shipment - received 4 days after my order. After considering shipping costs, it was the lowest delivered price. Confirmation email as expected; nothing unusual there.

haven't received product yet, so i can't answer about speedy delivery or accuracy. so far i'm very pleased.
the site was easy to navigate and a great selection.

I ordered a ladies leather briefcase May 4, 2007. My credit card was charged to my credit card the same day I ordered it from The Brown Box Online. I have never received the order. I have made phone calls to 1-800-718-1710 and emailed and have had no response. I consider this absolute fraud since I paid a month ago.

I would not recommend the Brown Box (aka Mercantila) to anyone! Ordered a crib on 2/3/07 and was told there were 7 in stock and it would ship by 2/8/07 and that I would receive an email confirming our conversation. What a joke! After 7 phone calls to numerous customer service personnel, sales personnel, and a customer service manager I have gotten no email and no crib. I just learned that the crib is in backorder and they can not tell me when it will ship. It takes 13 days to find this information out and a total lack of respect to a new customer. Have canceled my order but don't know if they are truly giving credit or not. Do NOT USE THE BROWN BOX!!

Do not do business with this company. They have changed names to avoid being identified with their past. They are another name for the Merchant - Mercantila and they have a very poor history of bad business dealing. If anyone has any doubt check out past experiences on Yahoo shopping or under their name Mercantila. They charged my credit card for a purchase and three weeks later they had not even shipped the product and would not reverse the charge. This is far from an isolated incident. This is the way they do business. Stay away

Worst ever experience with Mercantila (Platform beds store). They charge you within 2 hours of the order, don't ship for over a week, which is an alleged shipment, because their shipper (Roadways) don't have a trace of a shipment,they don't reply to emails or even phone calls. Never again with these crooks!

This is not a good company to purchase from. They have sold us a juicer the oj32 which at this point is still listed at $3700. They took our money and sent us a reciept and a shipping list. Then one week later Moren called from Mercantiala and said they were not honoring the price it would be $4500 if we still wanted the juicer. I stated that I felt we had a binding agrement and by them taking the funds and not sending the product is consumer fraud. They stated that they do not care and that their disclaimer would hold them harmless. Why would you buy something from this company when there is no guarantee of anything, even if they take you money.

Any store under the parent company Mercantila.com must suck because I ordered a small dining table and 4 chairs almost 2 months ago and have yet to hear when it will "be in stock." Online, it said it was in stock and will ship out. What Crap!!! BEWARE of Mercantila.com and anything affiliated with them!!
Customer service is clueless with any product. Their answer was always, " We don't know when it will become available if ever."

WARNING WARNING WARNING

At the top of this page is the advertisement for a rowing machine, I hit the buy it button and the price went up. I called the brown box and was met with the ruddiest person who obviously has no concept of customer service, so I assumed he was the owner of the store. Anyway he stated that the price was actually $30.00 + more than the ad, and would not take a look at the ad, he just told me, the price I am telling you is the price, take it or leave it.

Please, don't honor this store with your business, they are dishonest, and unethical.
