Chronic Problems with Delivery and Backorders - Don't Buy From Them!! Gathering from all the other reviews I've read on this page, FurnitureParadise has a very big problem-- not delivering furniture in a timely fashion and not even INFORMING customers ...

I ordered a crosley CR48-CR turntable about 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas on a web site I found called dealtime.com. It was in stock, but still hasn't arrived-it's DEC 28th. I looked on the web site again and it reads as in stock. When I called your company they informed me that my Christmas gift is on back order until Feb. I am very disappointed and would prefer never to shop with your company again. I had a very sad child on Christmas morning!

Ordered cherry trundle bed in October, and as of Mid-January has yet to be delivered, even though we were given delivery 'dates'. Even getting them to respond sometimes took three e-mails. Credit card was charged however. Before order was cancelled, we were told we might be liable for fees which forced us to cancel order and report them to fraud division of credit card company. BEWARE!

The process was of ordering through Everythign Furniture was painless, simple, and inexpensive. The furniture we bought, a table with chairs and 4 barstools came in excellent condition! The table and chairs were easy to assemble. All of the items look great! The table is strong and sturdy, the chairs and barstools real stylish and comfertable. I had purchased an item from the furniture paradise.com and I can say who are these people writing reviews. I had an issue with the order being delayed. I spoke to the owner himself, and not only was he very apologetic, but her gave me a discount for my trouble. Well, the item arrived in perfect condition, and I am very happy with the store, the service, the courtesy shown and the entire experience. I would tell anyone, they are top shelf.

It's been two weeks and I still have not received my order. I called twice and was promised a return phone call within the hour. I was also promised an email status update of my order - I received neither. They have not even given me a tracking number to track the shipment. I have no idea if my order has even shipped yet. Buyers beware! I will not shop here again.

Unlike many retail store fronts that are confusing and have just way too much on their home page, this site is well organized and pleasant to browse. They have great selection that include unique pieces, very reasonable prices, and checkout is hassle-free. Plus, update and confirmation emails are prompt and informative. I ordered something that was on backorder, so before I recieved it, I did receive an update email notifying me of the ship date. Well it got here yesterday and looks and feels great! Great experience here.

I have read a lot of buyer troubles online, so because of that I had been hesitant to buy furniture online but these deals were just too good for me to pass up. I ordered a bathroom tower cabinet from Furniture Paradise on March 17, 2005. I received an e-mail the same day confirming my order. On March 20, 2005, I received another e-mail stating my order was expected to ship in 3-4 business days. On March 24, 2005, I received the tower cabinet. Upon opening the box and visually inspecting all of the parts, neither my husband or I can find a thing wrong with this shipment. The packaging was in excellent shape. None of the pieces of the cabinet are marred or
scratched. I ordered the tower cabinet from Furniture Paradise as they had the cheapest price on the Internet.
It was only after I made the purchase that I checked Epinions and saw the bad reviews. I thought I was in big trouble due to the negative reviews. It just goes to show you that sometimes you get lucky. I would definitely shop Furniture Paradise in the future.

Sofa sectional couches are great. I found a great set at The Furniture Paradise. They look great in my living room. It sure does make spending time in my living room a much better experience with having my great sofa sectional. Delivery came on time. Seats are clean, new, and in mint condition.

I find The Furniture Paradise prices to be the lowest online. I've had less then great experiences with another online company which lead me to The Furniture Paradise. I've had two orders so far and both have been with no problems, delay, or anything of the other kinds of problems that you I've had before! My dining room set arrived today at the house. My son and I put the table and chairs together. It took about an hour to complete everything. The finish result was spectacular. A great experience. Will order more furniture in the future.

I bought a Queen Sized mattress from The Furniture Paradise. The product came to my house scuffed up but not damaged enough to send it back. The mattress is really comfertable and firm.

Love my Video game chair! Being a big time sports fan, I was happy to order a football video game chair. The chair looks great in my game room. It has speakers the blast out the sound and it rocks back and forth. Like it a lot. The price was good. The online ordering system was easy. The package got here on time and there was no assembly except for taking the chair out of its box and unwrapping it, etc.

This order order came from different manufacturers around the country the customer service people were great with coordinating delivery and keeping me informed of when I could expect delivery. There was a glitch when a chair arrived damaged, but with one call the replacement chair was shipped the next day! Good quality of the items I purchased and a helpful customer service staff.

Don't even think of buying anything from these people! I have had a chair on order from them since mid February and I finally had to call the manufacturer's factory directly to get any information. They are just a "distributor" for the manufacturer and not very good ones. The item is still not shipped and I'm not sure if it will ever be. Customer service from Furniture Paradise is worthless and after speaking to the owner directly I'm not convinced that he is any better.
