A family member sent me Romeo and Julieta package deal as a gift that included a decorative jar and 20 tubo cigars. When I received it, 19 of the 20 cigars were molded and were not the size of cigar that were ordered. I wanted to exchange the item, and called customer service. The agent was rude. I complied with the exchange instructions contained in the package and with what the customer service rep told me to do. When I later called to check on the status of the exchange, I found out that the gift giver got a credit to her card instead. After two more calls to customer service that told me two different things, I gave up. Me experience with this company can be summarized to this - if a company's customer service doesn't know the job and doesn't care about customers, I won't be one.

I had a good experience with Thompson.
I got an email offer for a 10-cigar+humidor+2 cutters for $29.95. I ordered them expecting dried-out, beaten cigars. But what I got was a super sampler of CAO gold, La Gloria Cubana and La Flor Dominicana. The cigars where in great shape and I couldn't help it but smoke one of each the very same day. I enjoyed them to the last inch.
They called offering specials, but they weren't pushy and accepted the fact that I wasn't going to buy more cigars at that time.
I am into samplers and they seemed to have the best sampler choices. Of the online cigar stores, they seemed to have the best values.
I ordered one of the Thompson special samplers and was exceedingly pleased. It arrived promptly and in good condition. It did put me on their mailing list, but they have an excellent selection and good descriptions. Eventually a salesperson called and asked if I liked the order and wanted more. I declined, at that time, and they were pleasant about it. They just added Villiger exports to their inventory, which was the only thing that I liked that they didn't have.
I looked up Revelation pipe tobacco,and was astounded at the price.Surely there must be a typographical error.If that is the price of one tin of my choice,I guess I will just not start smoking a pipe again.I have bought cigars from Thompson,but the prices were not so outrageous
they're slow, they lie, they promise and don't deliver. We were promised delivery by Christmas, tried to check several times, were told order shipped on the 18th (it didn't) could not get a straight answer. It is the 26th and they said the order shipped TODAY so of course they couldn't cancel it, sorry if someone gave us bad info. But we could return it and we could get a full refund. Yep, I believe that!!!
