Well tower.com sucks so much in my opinion. I ordered an item which was was listed on their site as "in stock" and its still listed as in stock right now. I called their customer service number and had to wait in some sort of que for like 30 minutes. Then i was informed that the item was back-ordered and wouldn't ship out til 10 days later. I initially requested priority shipping and was told on the phone that i couldn't change the shipping, couldn't cancel the order and that I would charged the full purchase price once it ships. They kept insisting that they had made no mistake. I still haven't recieved my item. STEER CLEAR OF TOWER.COM!

It took them 8 days to ship my CD (sounds like I was relatively lucky). Is there only one person working there? I chose Tower because it had the best price. I found the item I wanted through google product search and purchased it through google checkout, so Tower didn't have to do anything beside ship it in a timely manner. Avoid these jokers if possible.

Good site, poor shipping, poor service

I ordered CD's on 12/6/07. My order number: 2262997
Order received today 12/18. However, ignore all shipping notices they send you because they lie. I ordered 5 items. Informed 3 shipped on 12/6, one shipped on 12/7 and one shipped on 12/10. All arrived in the same box, therefore you can not believe thier shipping information.
Items were sent via DHL vs USPS as they claimed which was fine but they still claimed that no tracking information was available. Another Lie.
Packing was bad. Two CD cases were cracked and one, based on lack of shrink wrap was a used CD. Another one was shrink wrapped but failed to have the end tape (title and barcode) giving the impression that this was also a return/used CD. Something they never informed me of.
BUYER BEWARE !!

Do not buy here anymore. Service has gone way down. It took me days to reach customer service. They do not answer emails. They held my shipment to consolidate items. That is ok. What is not ok is that in the interim period, two of the items I ordered became unavailable from Tower – yet they were still holding my order to ship items that would never, ever ship. When I finally reached someone after being on hold for 1.5 hours they said they wanted another 20 days to ship the balance I have bought over $1000 in music from tower in the past two years and that counted for nothing. They offered me nothing and give me lousy service. I am done with them.
