Purchased a Panasonic FZ20. Great Price, excellent follow-up communication, and fast shipping! I chose standard 7-10 day shipping. Ordered at 11 p.m. on a friday night & had the camera the following wednesday, mid afternoon. I would ABSOLUTELY buy from them again!

Not a legitimate business--don't waste your time

If you are looking for typical "bait and switch" selling techniques mixed with rudeness, threats, and fear tactics, wawadigital.com is the place for you! These deadbeats should have been put out of business LONG ago (there are over one year of negative reviews I've found on-line). I attempted to purchase a digital camera, was given the run around, threatened, and also hung up on. Of course I'm following through with the appropriate authorities. My credit card company is going after them as well--for fraudulent use of my credit information. (Though don't let them fool you...there is no way they can harm your credit record.) It should only be a few months and these guys will be officially out of business and hopefully behind bars!

Rude and ignorant sales person

You must call wawa
to confirm your order. When you do, it becomes obvious why - they are trying to add to your order. That is OK except that they were not truthful - said that the Canon SD500 didn't come with a battery - when I pushed back, I was told that, "well, the one that comes with the camera only lasts 15 min." I explained that I didn't want to put an off brand battery in my new Canon camera. He then pushed to sell me a memory card - when I asked a question about the speed of the card, he mumbled something about a 6 week backorder and that my order is cancelled. Then he hung up. Very rude and ignorant about the products he was trying to sell.

Customer service was paramount at wawadigital. I didnt know the product number, the the representative searched through her database to find what i wanted. The product was as advertised at the best price i found on the web. Shipping cost was not overpriced and delivery was above average. Great buying experience.

Made my second buy from the Wawadigital website on a Sunday morning. Their price was the best for an authorized dealer (no worries about a grey market camera). Received an instant confirmation of the order by e-mail. On Monday morning, shipping confirmation arrived and on Thursday, the camera arrived as promised. Free shipping! No calls for confirmation, no trying to sell me something I didn't want. This is a very professional organization and I will likely be back for another visit in the future. Highly recommended

I should have listened!! All the negative reviews are correct. I ordered on-line and then had to call to confirm my order, which tells you something right away. When asked, they said the camera was in stock but when I said I didn't want any of their high-priced add-ons, my order was canceled. When I called back, they were very rude and hung up! Stay away from this company!!!

This was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. A few hours after placing my order, someone called me to confirm and pressure me into buying accessories that were overpriced. When I stated that I didn't need any accessories, the customer service agent hung up on me. The next day, when I checked my order online, it was listed as cancelled. No one had sent me an email or called to let me know that they cancelled my order. I called the store to find out why the order had been cancelled. They told me that the camera was out of stock (although it was still listed for sale on their website) and hung up on me again.

An absolute horror to deal with.

Do not do business with this company! I recently ordered a Canon S2 IS digital camera from Wawa Digital. When they called to confirm my order I was asked if I wanted to buy additional memory or a rechargeable battery pack. I stated I did not need those items and just wanted the camera. The rep then asked why I had ordered a refurbished camera instead of a new one. I stated my order was for a new one. He suddenly got defensive, stated my order was cancelled, and hung up. When I called back to ask what was going on I was told my order was cancelled and the rep slammed the phone down. So much for friendly customer service.

I am guessing they cancelled my order because I would not order a memory card. After going on to this site to read reviews of wawadigital I thought it best to check on the status of my order. To my surprise the order had been cancelled. When I called to ask why they told me the camera was sold out. They did not mention this the day they called to sell me a $130.00 memory card which I refused. I would avoid doing business with this company at all costs. I think the positive reviews are probably fakes planted by people at wawa.

Scam artists. Low price quoted then after you buy you must call and confirm your order. Then the high-pressure sales scam starts. They try to pressure you into buying all sorts of over-priced accessories. Luckily they cancelled my order. I guess I didn't buy enough stuff to go with it.

A kind of crude bait-and-switch outfit apparently. The camcorder I ordered seem to be all right, and was delivered fairly promptly. But I was certainly cheated to the tune of a $100 or so. I was foolish enough to agree to purchase an extra battery that, I was told, was a Canon OEM 8-hour unit. What was sent, however, was a $15 aftermarket version of the BP 208 which, should it fail and damage the camcorder, would have voided the Canon warantee. [Anyway, as it turns out, there is no 8-hour battery for this product]. There was also a $10 charge above the agreed shipping rate. Small things, maybe. But enough so you wind up paying more for a product than if you had ordered it from a reputable retailer.

Paid $700.00 Dec 05 now it's May 06 Where my Warranty Card and relacement charger?

These nice, friendly guys send me a crushed Pentax Optio 750z box with a melted battery charger and my obviously severely dropped camera. NEVER replaced it as promised after numerous phone calls. By the way, the Shipping box wasn't damaged at all, so they put the crushed Pentax box neatly in the shipper box with full knowledge of it's condition, go figure. I paid an extra $100.00 dollars for an extended warranty that doesn't seem to extend very far. My incident began early December, 2005. Placed an order via internet for $340.00, after receiving a friendly confirmation phone call (two minutes later)I owed them $700.00. Well, it's May, 2006 and I'm still waiting... this is Shannon in Oregon, remember me? I'd like my warranty card or my $100 dollars back and the camera/battery charger you promised to replace after numerous phone calls. I believe I'm wasting my time, they don't seem to care, after all, they got their $700.00 from this customer.

What a bunch of sleazebags.. i reckon these guys took their training from those electronics guys from hong kong who tell you an enormously cheap price only to try to change your mind in buying something else (whose price they have earmarked at 1 500% profit)!
Just take a look at the optura 50 price that i ordered, they had it listed at $500 which is an incredibly good price, but as they say if its too good to be true, it truly is. They had me call them so I did and was forced to buy enormously overpriced accessories! Since i didnt buy any accessories, they told me the optura was out of stock! Dont waste your time!! STAY AWAY!!!
