Classic bait and switch scam trying to sell accessories and finally claiming the U.S. warranted camera would cost an additional $200. Canceled order same day. Fraudulent charges began appearing 9 days later on the credit card info this company had. Checked out this site and www.resellerratings.com and found others had same experience with fraudulent charges, especially transferring funds through Wester Union on-line. Contacting Attorney General's offices in two states and F.B.I. Money was wired to Lebanon.

On 2006/04/05 I ordered a Panasonic DMC-FZ30K 8MP Digital Camera for $369 plus shipping. Within minutes I got a call from "James" who wanted to confirm the order was legit. He also confirmed the camera was IN STOCK and would ship the same day.

He then tried to sell me a "2 hour" or a "5 hour" spare battery for $129 or $199. Still camera batteries on NOT rated in hours - but in number of images. So that was odd. But he did say the camera was in stock and would ship.

Then 10 minutes later I get another email CANCELING the order due to it not being available. So I called and another similar sounding fellow said James was not available but confirmed the camera as not in stock. he had no idea why James would have said so. Now I ready all the reviews and can but wait to see if they bill but don't deliver my camera.

wawadigital is a horrible company out to scam the buyer.
i broke my kodak 4.0 megapixel camera and it was unable to be repaired. i got on the internet and started comparison shopping. if it looks too good to be true - it is. i found the 5 mp camera on wawadigital's site for a good $100.00 less than anywhere else. i placed my order, called to confirm and when i did not need any accessories (i have them from my previous camera) i got disconnected. i called back, got yelled at saying my order was cancelled, then hung up on. i called back to find out why my order was cancelled. they yelled things not appropriate to type here and hung up on me again. i immediately cancelled my credit card. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Here's my story.

I did my research on digital cameras like most people that shop online. Wawa digital offered the best prices so I immediately ordered and put in my credit card info. They call me a few days later to confirm. He commented on how nice the camera was and asked if I needed a memory card. I told I already had one and he told me that the camera I was ordering was out of stock. Without letting me say a word he hangs up on me.

Unfortunately that's not where it ends. A few days later I find out that they've been charging my credit card ($29.99 and $30.99). I call my bank and tell them, but they tell me to call back in 2 days since it was a holiday weekend and the charges haven't cleared yet. The next day, wawa digital charges my card $60.99. I call my bank again to cancel my card.

I'm currently fighting to get my money back.

They are a very weird company. Definitely had the lowest price on the camera I wanted, but the worst customer service EVER! I thought it was weird that I had to call and confirm my order on the telephone, but did it anyway. Or tried. When my order didn't go through (after I refused to buy their overpriced accessories), I tried to order again, and was told my order was canceled. They didn't want to do business with me because I wouldn't let them talk to my boss when he asked!? What?? Anyway, avoid this company. It's just a shady situation.

It seems that WAWADigital may be posting their own high praises. If you read the 5 ratings many seem to be from the same individual...how many Harrisons buy from WaWa? Or how about how many people pick their first and lastname to be their usernames. Seems fishy to me that they all seem to post either the same day or almost exactly a week later.

they shipped me brand new product just like it indicated on their site and the package only took 3 days to arrive here so im very satisfied with the service .

Boy, I wish I would've followed the reviews......HORRIBLE experience......they might treat you great if you fall for all of their "extras" but if you just want to make your purchase then forget it.......SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!! You have to call to confirm your order and this just allows them to harrass you......won't take NO for an answer!!!

They offer a great price, then ask you to confirm your order. If you don't get any accessories or warranty they turn cold. I was told it would be 10 days before my camera shipped out so I said I want to cancel my order, they said "Fine". They have no intention to make your buying experience pleasant unless you buy their accessories.

A great place to shop online. I got exactly what I wanted and at a great price. I would like to have had it delivered by USPS but it made it fine via UPS. I highly recommend them and will buy from them again! Ken & Cheri

Just wanted to add my experience to all the preceding negative ones. Price looked to good to be true. Placed an order. Had to call to confirm - wierd. Guy tried to sell me a better battery and memory card. I refused. 4 days later, I hadn't received any shipping confirmation so I called the company. No answer even though it was during their supposed business hours. I went to order tracking on their web site and discovered that it said "cancelled." Called my credit card company. Confirmed that no charges had been made. Cancelled my number just in case, though. This "company" is a total scam. Don't order from them!

They strung us out for six weeks only to mumble that they did NOT have the merchandise and were not going to be ordering it "again." Then, without asking sufficient details to even assure the order, said everything had been backordered ... but in the next breath said, "Order something else 'cause we're not buying this anymore." And then they hung up on me.

Fortunately they did NOT charge my VISA.

They had the product in stock at one of the best prices that I was able to find. They shipped on time. Their customer service was very cordial and helpful when I called to discuss the order with them.

It was a good experience and a very good price. You guys are honest and forthright. I love doing business with you

Well I just got a call from James the owner. He tried to sell me everything for the Casio S500 I tried to buy. When I finally told him I only wanted the camera he called me a f.....loser and said he would not send me the camera and charge my credit card 20% restocking!!! I just had ordered this camera the evening before! I have had to call and change my credit card. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.I only wished I had seen this site before I bought.
