SINGLE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH AN INTERNET COMPANY OR ANY COMPANY

I wish I would have read all the reviews before I decided to purchase a digital camera from wawadigital. I was so proud of the extensive research I did to decide which camera to purchase, but I forgot to do the same research on the company I would buy it from. Don't believe the positive reviews, they are obviously phony. The same thing that all the negative reviews described happened to me also. The salesperson ("James") that called tried to sell me a warranty. He said that it came with no warranty at all and if it broke during shipping there was nothing he could do about it. When I would not buy this "James" character's suggested accessories and warranty he became very rude and belligerent. I then told him to cancel my order and he said "Fine your threats mean nothing, it is already canceled" So I did another search and found that I could purchase the same camera from Dell.com for about 20 dollars more, without the sales pitch or the hassle.

This is one of the worst display's of Customer Service I have ever seen.

Want good customer service? GO ELSEWHERE! This place is built around a system of complete scams. I placed an order, then I was asked to call up. When I called, I asked if this is the company which owns the site WawaDigital.net the man told me "no". Then the man asked me "Well you would like to purchase somthing or not?" My reply , "I did, From WawaDigital.net" He said "yes thats us." Then I said " I appreciate the offer however I actually need to cancel an order." As soon as I said that the man says in a rude cold voice. "Ok! thanks for wasting my time." and he hung up the phone. This site doesn't even have a hacker safe site. DO NOT SHOP HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Low Price is a Scam: Avoid at all costs

Rotten bait-and-switch tactics. Don't waste your time dealing with these people. If you don't buy accessories they'll cancel your order. They put out a low list price but you must "confirm" the order by calling them. If they fail to sell you a bunch of overpriced extras on the call your order gets canceled. They use a bunch of different names so don't be fooled: if you have to call to confirm the order it's a scam. On top of that they're incredibly obnoxious over the phone. Dealing with them is like finding out your toilet scrubbing glove is broken.

After placing an order for an expensive camera with this company, I received a call by the "owner" who was extremely rude and hung up on me after I told him I did NOT want to buy any extra items (warranty and memory card) after he quite rudely persisted in pushing the issue. He "checked" and said that the item was "not in stock" and canceled my order. When I expressed my surprise at his pushiness and then refusal to fill my order, he said goodbye and hung up on me. I called back and he said, "You're order has been canceled. Stop calling this number. Goodbye." He was EXTREMELY RUDE--DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

BUYER BEWARE!! Do NOT deal with this company!! WAWA Digital will not process your order unless you buy expensive add-on items. Their customer service guy tried to bully me into buying overpriced extras for a digital camera. This company is rude and unethical. This is the WORST company I have ever deal with. They may advertise the lowest price, but it is FAKE!!

SUPER EXTRA MEGA HUGELY BAD

WORST ONLINE STORE EVER! - I bought a Sony digital camera for my friend around midnight, five minutes later I got a call from a restricted number saying that the camera was EXCELENT that I had made a PERFECT choice, he was so nice until that moment, he said that the camera didin't bring a memory stick which the site said it did, then I told him the site said it did and he said it was a 16 MBs which it stored about 5 pictures and the site said it was a 32MB and it actually holds about 20 pictures, ANYWAY, he tried to sell me a 1GB Memory Stick FOR $185 and when I told him NO WAY that's too expensive he droped the price to $145. When I told him I was looking for one in ebay for abotu $50 he yelled at me and hung up, I sent him email and no reply, and then I called his 1 800 number and the call is not going throught, it says its out of service. I had to call MBNA to cancel my credit card, thank god he didin't charge me for the camera.

BEWARE!!!!! This store offers low prices only because they only will sell to you if you order the extras. The extras bring up the camera price to a regular price. The fast talking SALES person (not a confirmation call like they lead you to believe) will not give up until you buy. They are very rude including hanging up on you and putting you on hold without notice. This company goes by at least 8 others names. Check out Ripoffreport.com and the better business bureau. They also go by camera store,(when you call their phone number) Starlite camera, Accessoriesland, camerawiz, 18 Consumer Electronics & photo corp., Willougby's Konica Imagining Center, and INS Digital World. I think they also used to go by Regency Camera (James didn't deny it) then, Digital Liquidators.

Like another poster here, I placed an order and got a web page stating they would not complete the order until I called them. Upon calling them, I was told that the battery included with the camera would only last 15 minutes, and that they could sell me a 2-hour or 5-hour battery that would make the camera "usable".
Since I had no such information about the camera battery, I told him I wasn't interested, at which he offered the 5-hour battery at the 2-hour price. I again said I wasn't interested, and he then offered to throw in a camera case if I would just buy the battery for another $60. When I declined, he called me a "f...... loser". At that, I said "since you have verbally abused me, you can feel free to cancel my order, if you don't want to do business with me". He said they would apply a restocking fee if they did that.
I then told him to ship the order exactly as I had placed it, and that if I had any problem with it, I would report the business to the BBB. He then hung up.

WAWA from HELL?????

OMG... what did I get myself into. I just ordered a camera and this RUDE man called back and wanted to know why I ordered a refurbished camera. I told him I ordered a new camera. He said I did not and we got into it over the phone. I hung up on him and he called back. He said he had my social security number and my credit card number and told me he would take me lower than low. He told me he could not cancel my order and Yada Yada Yada. I want the camera but I am scared he will use my credit card. What in the world do I do? I'm calling my credit card company.

This site offers a low price and follows the online order with a "confirmation call". This call is used to convince the buyer that add-ons are needed, batteries, memory card, etc.. The Canon memory card that was included was described as nearly usless. After being badgered for every possible type of addition, including a warranty I settled for a battery charger and a memory card. It turns out both were overpriced and the shipping cost was outrageous.

The camera was a very cheap price. But the seller tried to sell me their lens kits and memory cards. THAT WERE WAY OVER PRICED (BY ABOUT $100 - EACH). I said no thank you, and they gave me an order confirm number and they hung up the phone. Every thing seemed ok.
Two days later I called back to get my UPS tracking number.
When I called back and gave them my order number they did not look anything up they immediately told me that
The camera was out of stock and would not be back in-stock for 4 to 6 weeks and hung up the phone.
So it is obvious they never intended to sell me the camera unless I purchased their over priced accessories.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - USE THEM TO PRICE MATCH WITH OTHER COMPANIES - I DID

This was a disaster, and possibly criminal fraud

I placed an order for a Fuji S9000 in January at what I thought was too good to be true. Someone from the company called the next day to say that the order needed to be verified, and in the course of the conversation it came out that the camera was factory reconditioned---part of the conversation was him trying to sell me a warranty for it, no mention of a factory warranty at all. I canceled the order immediately, and filed a report with the FTC. Within days, illegitimate charges began to appear on my card. Fortunately Visa noticed, and called me to confirm them.
