Though this site processes your order quickly you have to confirm your order by calling their toll free number. Once doing so gives them the opportunity to sell you more accessories. I am not sure who wrote the past glowing reviews of this company ...

my brother wanted a digital camera. He ordered one from wawa.The sales rep tried to have him upgrade after he ordered.When my brother told them no, the sales rep. cursed him out. My brother told the sales rep. to cancel his order because of the reps, actions and they told him he was going to ring up his credit card and ruin him.They also told my brother that he was going to be charged a 20% cancellation fee on his credit card. The Better Business Bureau was contacted about WAWA's actions.This all happend the first week of may.The office my brother delt with was based out of Brooklyn New York.What WAWA needs to do is contact my brother and apologize to him.I am a sales rep. This is no way to treat your customers.If they don't know who to contact they could contact the B.B.B.I will never buy your product!! Word of mouth can hurt your business.On a scale 1-10 I rate you a neg 10.Don't upsale someone when they don't want it. You lost a sale due to this, and hopefully more.

I called to place and order and the first thing the guy wanted was my credit card# he asked what model camera and then tried to hard sell me the memory card at double the going rate, I told him never mind on the memory card and he hung up on me. I called back and asked him what the deal was because I didn't want the memory but I wanted the camera and he said right off the bat that is was out of stock for two weeks and hung up on me again. People were yelling and screaming in the background, being professional was not even a consideration. Probably some back room in the Bronx by the sound of it. I think I am going to cancel the card just for safety's sake, and I am not a paranoid person.

Worst service ever... I placed my order on line... At the conformation page it tells you to call customer service to confirm your order. I call the number the person tries to sell me more things, which I decline and gives me my order number. I go and check the status of my order and I see it's canceled. I call them back up and they gave me an odd answer the camera will not be ready for two weeks and we canceled the order. I asked why and they hung up... WORST SERVICE EVER.

Watch out! Bait and Switch!
I have never experienced such ABSOLUTELY RUDE TREATMENT in my life! Most stores are in business to sell you something - this is Bait and Switch at it's best and when I called the salesman on it he hung up on me! I talked to another salesman and he did the same thing! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.
I ordered what I thought was a new camera and when they called to verify my order they told me it was a refurb - no where on the site or on my order did ut say anything about a refurb. They said they would cancel the order and then hung up in a hurry before I could say anythng! Totally nuts! Let's see if they actually credit my Visa card as fast as they hung up on me!

Most of the same scam stuff listed here by others.
Tried to order a digital camera after finding them on a shopping comparison website. Price was 12-13% lower, so I thought I had found a deal.
Email confirmation of the order, things looked okay...
3 phone messages that same day to 'verify' my card info, with the explanation they 'get a lot of stolen cards'.
Guy tried to hustle me for memory, pricing WAY out of whack.
I refused & minutes later the order cancelled, camera not in stock (shopper website showed 'in stock')
I figured that was the extent of the scam until my credit card got hit for $1700+ in 5 fraud transactions - other camera & electronics shop purchases. Coincidence??
Had to cancel my card & Chase fraud team is tracking it. Luckily we caught it almost immediately.
