WAWA Digital

I ordered a Fuji Fine Pix S5100. I ordered it on Monday and received it by Thursday. I was very pleased with the service and product I received. I hope to order some accessories in the near future.

My camera didn't arrive when expected...emailed a question regarding delivery. Received an answer overnight and camera next day. My purchase is everything I had hoped for plus more. I would buy from this company again.

I called WAWA Digital yesterday morning (May 16, 2005)to seek the help of a live sales representative about my queries regarding a digital camera. Not only was the sales agent abrupt, but he was very rude! In the middle of my second query, he hung up the phone. I emailed their customer service right after the incident, but until now I haven't received a reply or an explanation from WAWA Digital. I am sure that if they provide bad service over the phone, they will surely provide poor and lousy service with one's order. I would NOT recommend this lousy store to anyone! BUYERS BEWARE!!!

The amount billed was as was shown when I placed my order. The order was shipped promptly, and the merchandise appears to be of first quality.

This is the worst merchant that I have ever dealt with in 50+ years. They offer a great price on the camera, but if you don't buy their overpriced batteries or memory they will cancel your order without an explanation. DON'T waste your time with this merchant!

I ordered a Nikon Coolpix 8700. My experience was similar to that of other people in that the day after my order they called to confirm my information and try to sell me more stuff that I did not want. They gave me a confirmation order. A week later I called back to get status and they said my order was cancelled b/c it was not in stock. They said to try back in 6 weeks. I asked them "Do you think anyone would call you back in 6 weeks after you didn't give a confirmation of the order or notification that my order was cancelled?" He said "Don't call back then" and hung up the phone. I'm not sure how they stay in business, but this place is shady. Do not buy from them.

Like all the other people who reviewed WAWA, I was almost taken. When I called to get confirm my order, I was told that that battery that came with the Casio Camera would only last about 10-15 minutes. Then, I needed to buy digital film (which was true, but I already owned). Then I was asked why I bought a refurbished unit. I said it was not advertised as refurbished and he told me that for another $80. I could have a new one (which is more than I would pay at Circuit City). When I told him I wanted my order cancelled, he said ok and hung up on me. I did get an email saying my order was cancelled, but will I have to fight over the credit card charge?

Incidentally, the referring shopper site, Everyprice.com does not show one negative experience on WAWA. However if you sign up on their site to publish a review, you are sent to a new screen which forever gives you access to order from their other merchants but there is no way to write a review, which means that all the reviews on this site are entirely phony! BEWARE

Don't be deceived. The positive reviews are obviously phony plants by company hacks. If this company can't sell you expensive add-ons, they won't sell at all. The advertised prices are come-ons only. Bait-and-switch is unlawful, but they will continued until sued. Then they will simply disappear.

WOW this place sucks. I did a search for a Canon A95 and WAWA Digital came up. The price seemed great, and I ordered right away. Now I know to check reviews first. I noticed that the order page directed me to call them for confirm the order. They reached me first. I got some guy who didn't even state his name. He offered me various accessories that I already have, and got irritated when I refused. He hung up on me! I then went to check the horrible reviews this place got, and started to get worried. So I called them up and once again, got a nameless guy. I asked to check the status of my order, and upon telling them my zipcode and first name only, the crook abruptly told me that "the order was cancelled, bye." I just hope I have nothing to do with WAWA from now on. They better not have charged me anything...PLEASE don't buy from them.

This company absolutely sucks. My son ordered a cannon digital camera and has been waiting weeks for it's arrival to use on spring break. When he called to inquire of the whereabouts a poor excuse of a salesman told him they canceled his order because it was back ordered. He asked the salesman why they didn't e-mail him and he hung up. He called back and asked to speak to the manager and he hung up again. (One of the same losers) Warning-you get what you pay for. If you want to deal with a rink dink, never in stock, one man rude, ignorant customer service company, just to save a few bucks then this company is for you. I think the positive reviews they have received can only be from people they have payed!

The customer service was outstanding. They shipped the product on time and were forthright concerning weather the item was in stock or not. I will DEFINITELY shop with wawadigital.com again. I cant remember her name, but the woman who took my order was very polite. This has not been my experience with other online stores. And the price was outstanding.

Good pricing, good website; some delay and confusion in shipping; cranky woman on the telephone when trying to find out why shipment delayed.

HORRIBLE company. Was very nice until I turned down the extra accessories and the warranty. Then he said my order was cancelled and hung up on me after taking my credit card details. Very dishonest, do not give them ANY of your money.

This place is a scam and i read these reviews too late. i had already supposedly made a purchase from them. i had not yet tried to confirm my order so i knew they couldn't try to charge me a cancellation fee but in an email they wrote to me they threatened to charge me 25% fee for changing my mind. they're rude, not trustworthy, and if you've placed an order with them already, do what i did. make up a story about why you had to change your mind and can no longer purchase from their company. i only did that to avoid confrontation but they're jerks and don't deserve to run a business. anyone who gave them a positive rating probably works in the store and did it to suck more people in. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THESE IDIOTS!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Ordered my camera last night. SO excited, as i had found the best deal. Received email this morning stating I needed to call and confirm my order. The guy i spoke with was really nice at first saying I picked the best camera, he has the same one, blah, blah, blah. Then asks which battery I want. I tell him I don't want anything extra, just what comes with the camera. He then asks if I want the refurbished or new camera, cuz i ordered the refurbished one??? I said, NO, it says no where that it is refurbished on the website. Then he hung up on me. I called back, got the same guy, said, yes, you just hung up on me?? he said, i told you the camera is out of stock. I said, no, you told me the camera is refurbished. He said, Your order is cancelled, and hung up!!!! BAD BAD BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! all that time wasted!!
