I read both good and bad reviews on this company. I couldn't believe the price of the Sony DSC-M1 that they were offering (at least $100 below internet average) so I called in to order. Immediately, they asked for my name and credit card number which I thought strange. Asked if I needed any accessories before considering the camera I wanted - very strange. Accessory prices seemed too high even after the stated "discounts" so I opted to buy the camera only. Lo and behold, the camera suddenly became "out of stock". Talk about a scam!

Don't believe the good reviews. They are obviously posted by their own. Sounds like they are just trying to offset all the bad ones anyway. Unbelievable!

this company SUCKS, do NOT buy from them, they are extremely rude and i was hung up on THREE TIMES, do not purchase ANYTHING from this company.

Ordered a camera, got the usual message re calling in to confirm. They have my credit card info. Within days 96 fraud billings attempted on my card by someone??? Be very careful with your personal card info. and watch your bills. Reported to bank fraud authorities.

Bait and switch! I ordered a camera from this clown and he called wanting me to buy a battery and a memory card. He was POD because I didn't want to buy these accessories and before I get back to my computer, I received an Email canceling the order.

Biggest rip off I have ever met. I have never had someone call me and try to throw a sales pitch and sell me ridiculously high priced accessories after purchasing goods over the internet. BUYER BE WHERE BIGGEST SCAM ARTIST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Claims he has warehouses in every state in the country. Charges Sales Tax. DON'T GIVE HIM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. HE IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST THIEF I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN THE INTERNET. SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL ANYTHING ON THE INTERNET. SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DEAL WITH MANUFACTURERS. HE IS PERFECT EXAMPLE OF AN INTERNET COMPANY THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL TO THE PUBLIC!!!!!!

I don't know where those good reviews come from but I'm sure it's from those who work for them because these guys really treated me nasty. After I ordered a camera, I was asked to call to confirm the order (why would that be necessary?)...I called and I was shocked to hear the way they were treating me...No respect for the customers and tried to make me buy more accessories...that's why they wanted me to call to confirm the order...? I suggest to not even try to buy anything from them...I still can't believe that somebody who considers doing business would treat their clients that way...

After encontering the same difficulties as some of the other reviewers and ultimately having my order canceled, just today,(about 10 days later), mysterious fraudulent charges are popping up on my bank statement, including 2 orders at Proflowers.com,( I havn't bought flowers in years) and a charge at a K-Mart in Flint Michigan,(I live in Portland Oregon). These orders total approx.$170.00. I've cancelled my card and will be talking to the bank on Monday.
I cannot help but wonder if my giving my Visa checkcard number to WAWADigital is related to these.
In all fairness I have not gotten to the bottom of this yet and I do engage in lots of online commerce, some other entity may have obtained my info or it may be a genuine banking error,(seems unlikely though).
Needless to say I will never deal with these clowns again.

Caveat Emptor!!

Why did I think I would be one of the few it wouldn't happen to? Of course the same thing happened to me.... I emailed first to confirm American product with warranty, they emailed back to say yes, i ordered then got a call the next morning trying to sell me battery then saying no warranty. They did agree to cancel the order without a fight but I keep checking my credit card online because I feel like i gave it to someone creepy. Just pay the $50 more, still get a good deal and go to butterfly. Shelly

This is very weird company. After I placed the order online to buy a digital camera I received a call from Brooklyn. I had no clue what the guy was trying to say, because of bad reception and then he hung up. I called several times back. Finally he said that my order had been canceled.
No explanation why. Very rude. Very bizarre.
I am worried they have my credit card information.
I need to call to my bank now.
I should have read the reviews first.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE, STAY AWAY! But don't just take my word for it, read all the other reviews with very similar experience.

My wife tried to order a digital camera from this store and had an absolutely terrible experience. This is the worst customer service story I have ever heard, and unfortunately it seems like it's how they like to operate. Here's a short order of events:

Day 1: Camera ordered online. Final order page says that you have to place a call to the company before the order is finalized.
Day 2: CS rep calls repeatedly from 6am to 8am in the morning. Wife finally answers phone and CS rep tries to do numerous upsells (the camera didn’t even come with a battery!). CS rep promises to email an order confirmation.
Day 6: Wife calls CS to ask about the order confirmation, gets yelled at and called a b*tch before CS rep hangs up.
Day 12: Wife calls again to ask about the status, gets yelled at again and informed that a refund has been issued (which it had). CS rep hangs up again.

ordered a panasonic dmcfz20 digital camera 7 days later we are taking pictures great service.

Disappointed with the service. Fast talking salesman. Wanted to find out the status of my order and they told me it was back ordered, and they were going to email me. Funny, I never gave them my email. True scam artists at this store.

Best price by far...ordered on a Thursday late afternoon, received on a Monday morning doing the 2-3 day shipping (only 6.95)...only issue is it comes via fedex and needs to be signed for

I tried ordering a digital camera from WAWA Digital. I placed my order online, and within minutes received a call from a store rep. He said he was calling to confirm my order, but then told me that I had ordered the "refurbished" camera for $225 instead of the new one for $300. I told him his website did not advertise that camera as refurbished, and then he tried to sell me a battery that I didn't need-- I was buying a Casio camera, which are known for their long battery life. I told him I wanted to cancel my order, which he promptly did and I received an email saying THEY had cancelled my order because they didn't carry the camera I ordered-- which is NOT what the salesman told me on the phone. As of right now, though, I haven't received any charges on my credit card. I would recommend you stay away from this store.
