I purchased a phone from Wirefly.com. I would not recommend anyone using this website. First, the phone I wanted was not available. Then, when I spoke with the CSR he told me I could transport my old number from AT&T to Altell. They are now charging me an additional $250.00 because they say I broke my contract with Altell, but I still have the exact same contract. Anyways, it's not worth the headache! I would go directly to the service provider. This third party stuff is not worth it.

Customer service was spectacularly bad. My rep didn't have the slightest grasp of the details of the plans they offer for T-Mobile. (Ever heard of a Family Plan that only allows ONE phone?!?) Luckily, they cancelled my order -- without my permission, even though the e-mail claimed "at your request" -- before I got sucked in.

I should have known, deals too good to be true usually are.

I saw a banner that stated that if you extend your current contract, you could get a free phone (the cool new RAZR-like phone the KATANA), including a FREE bluetooth headset. I work with a few ladies who aslo have the same carrier as I do. We all ordered the phone (some of them had family plans and got the 2 free phone thing). After waiting nearly 3 days (and having the money removed from our accounts), we were notified that the carrier had declined, saying that we were not eligible for a contract extension. Actually come to find out, we were declined because we were not eleigible for a PHONE UPGRADE. This was no where listed (not even in the file print)!!!! Needless to say, we didn't get our free phones and we still haven't been given our money back!!!!!

Initially Wirefly APPEARED to be as exited as I was about their phone offers.
I was told that I was approved but the phones were not in stock. I was to receive an order stating when my phones would ship.
Along came the emails asking for further verification. I went from "approved" status to "pending" to "considering."
Wirefly claimed that they had communicated with T Mobile and I was not eligible for a second line without paying a $250. deposit. I called T mobile and they disputed the information wirefly had given me. So the circus began! They insisted and I continued to notify T mobile. T mobile even told them on a 3 way call that I was approved. At that point the Wirefly rep. (Carlos), disconnected us. When I called back the circus started over. After 10 days of hell, I informed them that I would be filing with the Attorney Generals office and Better Business. I canceled my order and told them to free up my money. I will follow through with the reports!

SCAM -they do not honor rebate deals - DO NOT BUY

I bought (2) Razr's with a Cingular sign up deal. Phones each had a $150 rebate. We did everything perfect to get the rebates. We were told they were denied and spent hours on the phone with them. Then they said we needed to resubmit. Which we did. At one point they told us one was approved but not the other (both phones bought at the same time - same paperwork sent for both)Later they told us the opposite one was approved and the other not approved. They have told us we should get a check for one but could not tell us when. It's been over a year and still nothing.

They Suck!

I ordered two new phones in October, 2007. They both quit charging within a week and Wirefly told me to call Motorola for warranty. Motorola told me that my phones weren't authorized for use in the United States. I then called Wirefly back and they sent me two new phones. They sent me Fedex call tags to return the old ones, which I did the next day. They keep sending me more call tags (I now have eight) and here it is February, 2007 and they have taken another $113.40 out of my bank account. Don't buy from them!!!

I just canceled my order with Wirefly. Dealing with them has been a huge hassle. I placed my order on a Friday. Over the weekend, I received a dozen phone calls asking me to fax in some additional information. I explained to each person who called that I wouldn't have access to a fax machine until Tuesday, after the holiday weekend. After many more phone calls and e-mails, I just got fed up and decided to cancel the order. To cancel the order, I had to talk to 3 different people in a call center in India, struggle to understand what they were saying to me, and turn down an offer for a free dvd player. If just placing and canceling an order with this company is such a hassle, I'm glad I didn't actually get the phone. Who knows what additional problems I would have had. I'm heading to the mall to get my new phone!

Be CareFull...Worst Cust. Serv. Rep and longer waitting call

Service is good, if you received everything in time in first attempt then that's good. But you ran into problem then this company doesn't help you. Cus. Ser. Rep are very rude. Longer waitting time on phone.

STAY AWAY! They were offer me $50 Ame. Exp. Gift Car. Initially they said they will send me an e-mail in 3-4 days but even after 3-4 weeks I didnt get am e-mail.

Lot of people have good exprience but think about those who ran into problem and how company response them. I guess that's most improtant.

If you need to talk with Cust. Ser. Rep. on phone you have to hang on your phone and wait for the Cust. Rep. everage 45 mins. They always say very high call traffic, that indicate that they have very high ratio of problem with customer. Or They dont have enough cust. Ser. Rep.

So Please Be Aware and Dont go throught this company. Once you bought it you are in trouble.

My experience with Wirefly was horrible. After waiting weeks for my phone to be delivered, they eventually decided to cancel my order, which left me with weeks of bills for a wireless service I never did (nor could) use, and no phone! The entire experience, including trying to deal with their inadequate and overwhelmed customer service, was a nightmare. I highly recommend that anyone interested in a new cell phone and service go instead directly to a service providers website.

While they seem to offer great 'deals' on phones, make sure that you go into this with your eyes wide open. The customer support at Wirefly is absolutely horrible.

They're "security" policy to protect "you" from identity theft is extremely invasive. They require a full social security number from you, over the phone, if their magic ID verifing system can't determine who you are. I'd highly advise against anyone providing that. Talk about identity theft!

Of course, every call you make goes to India, which as with all other companies that outsource, creates a whole host of other issues.

Run away.

GO STRAIGHT TO PROVIDER - AVOID WIREFLY'S "FREE" PHONES

Ordered Motorola E815 in October 2005. Was charged more for phone than if I had gone straight to verizon, but was persuaded by "Free after Rebate" advertising. I waited the ridiculous time period in order to submit rebates. Then I submitted everything properly and on time for the rebate. No rebate yet a year and a half later. Website still says processing rebate and can't reach a person at the number listed, only a recording that hangs up on you. AVOID THIS COMPANY AND THEIR REBATE SCAM.

You will never receive your rebate, nor be able to contact a service representative with Wirefly/Cellular Choices. You will be locked into a 2 year service contract with the cellphone company, which by the end of the contract, will have cost you hundreds of dollars. In my case it was Cingular, a horrible choice for my area, as many calls were dropped. They are not willing to help with this problem either. I paid an additional 150.00 to get out of the contract with Cingular, rather than give them any more money based on false promises.

WORST SERVICE EVER!  My dad signed up for a 2 line family plan, and paid an extra $20 for next day service. It seemed like a good deal at the time, although the process took over 2 hours on the phone due some language barriers (on their part) and a slight delay (it sounded like the rep was in India). They did not tell us any additional information was needed for processing. When we didn't get the phone the next day, I looked at the confirmation email and it said "please click here to confirm your order".  So we did. That was on a Friday. 

Fast forward to Monday, the next business day, still no phone.  Finally we called Wirefly, and they told us that we needed to fax a driver's license and social security card to Verizon!  They never said anything about that before!  We called Verizon, and they said that Wirefly hadn't even submitted any information to them at all!  I cancelled it immediately, and signed up directly with Verizon.  Don't ever sign up for anything with Wirefly!!

This was a very satisfying experience.Great website, great customer service, beyond superb communication every step of the way. Everything clearly spelled out, super followup. In this day of minimal service this company stands out beyond any other I have dealt with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for anything cellular...service or product.

Although the phone came quickly, I have had difficulty with the phone itself (the battery won't hold a charge). I have made numerous phone calls, been referred on and passed along and then told to go see an ATT store to either get a new battery or new charger. The local ATT stores don't carry these batteries. Why am I running around to fix/replace a brand new item? I would have appreciated someone taking control and telling me that they would take care of this problem. Instead, I have a phoen that I can't use for more than a few minutes before it goes dead. Great!

Wirefly handled everything for me very professionally. I regret to this day that I unfortunate;y had to cancel my order with them(due to a very impatient wife).I wish we had tried to place the order in my name instead of hers. I beleive that they could've saved us a lot of money. When I canceled the order their representitive was very helpful. I would reccommend this company to anyone who is about to purchase a cellphone or looking for a cellphone carrier. Their service is excellant in my eyes.

I think the shopping is great,but I think what needs to happen is the service provider needs to at least try to work with the people and try to see if the deposit can be paid two payments.I think this move will increase clientele,I myself have been trying to obtain at&t for about 1 yr. and still have not obtained it due to the deposit. still trying!!!!!

I was looking at cell phones and cell phone plans. All the info I needed was available on line at Wirefly. It was extremely easy and convenient to compare the differences in the cell phones and the cell phone plans on line. I was able do side by side comparisons of the different features availavle on all the different phones and of the different wireless plans and prices for both. Ratings and reviews of each type of cell phone and cell phone plan was presented... It was extremely easy to navigate thru all the information. Fast, easy, convenient, customer friendly, efficient, service.. Free 2nd day shipping with my order! Thank U Wirefly for making this service available on line.
