order processing was quick, lots of phones and plans to choose from. It was nice to shop at home and not have a sales person trying to sell us something we didn't want. Very quick delivery time we received our phones a full day before they had said we would.

Wirefly...beware of them. You are better off ordering your phone through the carrier you have selected. Phone I received came defective. I called them and customer serv rep and mgr were from India. I suspect the company is from there also. I paid $149 for my phone. I was told they would charge my credit card $250 and would send me another phone and I then I could return mine and if it was received in a certian amount of time they would refund me. Since when did the price of my phone go up by $100. Or you can send your phone back in and wait until they get it back to you. Meantime you have no phone. I think when a company sends you a defective phone they need to take responsibilty for that in a manner that doesn't leave you at a loss of anything.

WIREFLY IS A HORRIBLE WEBSITE. I ordered a cell phone there, and the website said it was free as long as you bought a plan. When it was delivered, it came with a bill of $126. I called Wirefly and they said that they were looking at the exact same page I was, and for them it said the price was $126. Perhaps I was looking at the wrong page? Or brain-damaged? They wouldn't budge, and we had to send back our cell phone, as we were unwilling to pay $126. Wirefly is the worst website ever; it is a scam! They say that their phones are free on the website, but they send the phone with a bill. I do believe that they actually do make money on it, as some people don't wish to go through the trouble of trying to avoid this payment. Wirefly charges almost three times the amount of money the actual T-Mobile store charges, while telling you you are paying absolutely nothing. I even looked at the information on my order, and it stated clearly that I was paying a total of zero dollars and zero cents. Never buy from Wirefly!

Shameful, Fraudulent, Dishonest, Sham, Scam

BEWARE INPHONICS' REBATE SCAM!!
Went into this arrangement fully understanding my obligations: (1) enter into a 2 year contract with selected carrier (2) send in order specific rebate form with all requisite proof of purchase paperwork and include 6th bill from carrier showing account paid to date (3) make certain postmark is between 180 to 210 days from activation (4) wait 10-12 weeks for checks to come. I have met my obligations 100%. I have received emails from Inphonic saying all rebates were approved. Now entering 17th week and no checks. DC Attorney General has filed suit due to multiple thousands of complaints. I'm guessing they go out of business very soon. Trial reportedly to come in September 06.
DON'T GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! (Wirefly, Inphonics, MyRatePlan, Others?)

This has got to be the easiest order I have ever placed. The phone was a perfect match for me and the service I received from Wirefly was the best ever!!!!!! I have already ordered a second phone for my husband and please know that all of my friends and coworkers have heard about Wirefly. Wirefly has all the great products I need and want at fraction of the price of competitors and their customer service is outstanding. Wirefly exceeded my expectations. Keep up the good work guys.

Wirefly has an easy to use website with lots of variety in cell phone choices, but that's were it stops.
BEWARE--They will hook you in claiming several rebates, but what they don't tell you is the extremely long wait period to receive them. The second catch is you have a very short window to get the months of invoices required to submit for one of the rebates and very little time. So if your cell phone company is late or the mail is late you miss out. Wirefly claims I was 8 days past the postmark deadline date and their parent company Inphonic denied the claim.
This company is not worth it. AVOID them.

Rebate never comes!

We bought two RAZR phones as part of one of their deals they advertise on yahoo.com. The deal was that we paid $150 for the phones, but we were supposed to get the full amount back through a mail-in rebate...this was a year ago. We followed the instructions to wait 6 months. They had a narrow window in which you could submit the rebate, and we made it, but we are still waiting for it to be processed.
Satisfied with the phones, but still waiting to get our money back. I do not recommend buying from them unless you get the rebate immediately.

Mail-in rebate fraud, these crooks are being sued by the Attorney General

These guys are scam artists, if you do a little Googling you'll see that they are being sued by the Attorney General for their mail in rebate fraud. They ripped me off for $400 by not honoring my meticulously prepared mail-in rebate. I did everything right (I had to wait six months to send in the rebate form it so I was ticked off and made sure I read and reread the fine print). I called today (July 19th, 06) and after 30 minutes on hold the "customer service" girl said that they found some errors and had to reprocess every rebate going back to January and that this was going to cause more delays. From what I can tell they wait until you are outside the rebate window and then tell you that you didn't cross a T or dot an I and you'd have to resubmit, but that it's too late to resubmit, and they do this by MAIL. Go to the Washington DC Office of the Attorney General and file a claim, also with the Federal Trade Commission. With luck, you might collect your rebate in a couple of years if the lawsuit goes well.

Order a cell phone, received it on time and it was what I ordered. Customer service is pitiful their only form of communication, I've found, is via email. They don't answer your email. Trying to get a response about a denied rebate, yet to get a reply. Be careful if you are expecting a rebate. You will have to submit loads of info and then they deny your claim. They don't return your paperwork or give you a means to resubmit.

The order tracking was abismal at best, and I had to log onto the order status site repeatedly until I caught an online agent (not regularly posted) who told me my order was stalled due to some issues. The issue would not have been resolved until I had taken action (either to cancel or give an OK for a process) even though they took no steps to notify me of the fact. The only thing the order status site had told me was that it was being processed. If I had not chatted online with the agent, I would still be twiddling my thumbs waiting for my cell phone that never would have come. They also have no e-mail address or phone number that can be used to contact the company. Unacceptable lack of availability on their end for customer service. The online agent was very helpful and polite though. I just wish they were always available, not on random occasions.

I received emails that I needed to do something (contact the cellular service provider) before the product was shipped, but the product (cell phone) was shipped and the cellular provider already had it registered when we called after receiving the phone.
This was confusing to me.

Phones arrived ontime but were not delivered before my old phone numbers were transposed and that is backwards. Phones should have arrived then numbers should transpose so no one is without service. In my case 3 people were without service and one did not transpose until after the phones arrived.
