Best Price Fast service

I bought the new Razor phone with T-Mobile service. Wirefly had the best price around (including Costco, other mail orders, internet sites and the T-Mobil store. I got the phone 3 days after my order already activated.
Note that I was sent to epinions through a link from Wirefly after I filled out a favorable survey (I assume people who do not fill out a good survey are not sent to epinions). My order was very straight forward with a new number being issued so I can't comment on problems others had with switching an active number.

They will take your money and send you the phones, 2 weeks later you have $600 in roaming charges because you didn't get the plan you signed up for????Alltel customer service fixed the problem but wirefly is not good.

Wirefly/InPhonic has to be, without a doubt, the biggest scam operation on the internet. After repeated stalling, excuses, and the most absurd reasons for denying my rebates (almost a year after I purchased their advertised "free" after rebate Motorola RAZR V3 cell phone for $250.00, which is almost obsolete by now), this unscrupulous, dishonest, and immoral company actually has its minions who all claim they are "from the office of the president" scouring the internet for consumer complaint sites and insulting our intelligence with their nonsensical gobbledygook about how they will personally look into the rebates which their company obviously has no intention of ever fulfilling.
Gee, I wonder if their sudden interest in the people they have screwed over is due to the lawsuit that DC's Attorney General filed against them in June (over the rebate issue) and which is scheduled for trial this September.

These guys are simply great. I placed my order on 13th February and got the cell phones on 20th February and that too with normal delivery without extra cost. The time included my credit approval, acceptance from T-mobile and shipping (2-3 days on weekend). What more, the cell phones were already activated! In between my e-mails were answered with lightening fast speed by the customer service. This is the most memorable shopping experience. I would highly recommend this merchant.

Too Good to be True? It is! Don't Believe Them!

Do NOT purchase from this company! They do everything they can to avoid paying the rebates they promise. To get my rebate, I had to go through the Better Business Bureau. By the way, the BBB dropped InPhonic's (a.k.a. Wirefly) BBB membership for "failure to maintain the principles and standards required for membership" (http://www.dc.bbb.org/report.html?national=Y&compid=23004111).
I recommend you include the BBB in *all* correspondence with InPhonic/Wirefly. You may also want to correspond directly with the company president (Richard Calder--rcalder@inphonic.com). He will not reply, but as the president, he has a vested interest in the company's success, if you can call it that.
On a side note, InPhonic's stock DROPPED from a high of ~$22/share to under $8--in just one year. Seems not even their stockholders approve of their business practices.

Simply great service. I ordered the phone/service on Saturday and got the phone at my home by Tuesday noon. Also good range of prices and their search options can help you find a plan/coverage that taliors to your specific needs. wether you are a college student who is on a budget or a business man with 1000 calls to make a day, they carry a wide variety of selection for everyone. Nightmare Experience

Please, do yourself a big favor. DO NOT BUY your next cell phone from this dealer. I just had a nightmare experience buying a RAZR V3. I feel so dump/idiot, after all those warning posted in this site. Go to Walmart, RARZ V3 is only $68.98 with no rebate (2 yrs contract). Save yourself from a lot of trouble. This is the worse internet company, in my 10 years of buying online

I've been a cell user since bag-phones in the late '80s, and I've apparently been blessed with trouble-free service until now. But I had troubles from the very beginning with Wirefly (late delivery, miscommunication to Verizon and... no cell coverage in my area!), and I should've known that I needed to back out fast. Sadly, I felt locked in. What happened next is about to be handed over to the Attorneys General offices of my state and theirs. Basically, they kept my rebate money. Don't shop from these people! Find some guy in a back alley instead!

I was sent a phone with a cracked camera cover. I realized it was a problem only after the very short return period. Then, of course, I received no rebates because you have to remember the period in which to mail the forms in, some 180 + days in the future. This is fraud, as the DC atty general is claiming. Now, my Motorola phone doesn't work any more (it can't recharge), hasn't taken pictures since the second month; I paid a ridiculous price, got committed to a long term contract...Don't buy from Wirefly!!

Easy process conducted on line. E-mail kept me informed of shipping status, order number and shipping tracking number provided for monitoring of shipping status.
